Very happy with the service. they were able to fit me in twice, once for a starter, then the battery died. They came out to the house, at lunchtime, to jump start the car so we could get it to them for the battery. Definitely a good decision. Service: Battery

2nd time getting my inspection sticker here and these guys are great! Fit me in last minute for an appointment (because I waited until the day they expired to take care of it ) AND (because I forgot they only take cash for inspections ) they let me pick up the car, run to the ATM, and come back to pay the balance. I haven't had any major work performed here so I can't say anything about that so I won't give 5 stars now, but J&S was very accommodating to me when I had to have an emergency battery replacement. It was done fast and without issues to my car. I would give 5 stars if I only had more experience with them. I was unable to schedule an appointment but they fit me into their busy schedule to change my battery.

I'm new to the area, and it is always difficult to find a good, trustworthy mechanic. If this is you, too, and you're looking for a good mechanic in the area, look no further. I needed a new tire and headlight, and some basic maintenance. I also needed it same-day. Not only were they able to get everything done by the afternoon, but they have a text and call service to let you know your vehicle is ready.

The prices were lower than I expected, the people were friendly, and the service was great. They didn't try to upsell, they were transparent about costs, and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely use them again when my car needs service. Excellent place.

I went here because my family has always taken their vehicles here. My husband and i needed work done on the suv so we immediately had them do the work that needed to be done done. I gave them two stars because they fixed our vehicle. But I was shocked at the costumer service. These guys were just wierd and unfriendly. Made me feel uncomfurtable. And I just wanted to get out of their the few times I had to be in there.

This is a business. I guess you can say they just fix things? Which to each his own. But I walked out of there feeling crappy. This is a one time experience review. I hate to bash. But we didn't do anything to them and they made us feel very unwelcome.

When the owner first gave me a quote for a new wheel bearing it was the best price I could find, so I decided to go with j and s. however, when Doing this job, their mechanic broke my roter (which was very old). He wanted to replace both front roters, but due to my financial situation and the fact that I suspected he was trying to upsell me, I told him to only touch the one.

He was very friendly when I picked up the car, and wanted to make sure I didn't feel taken advantage of, so he charged me slightly less than the price we discussed for the one roter. Then when I got home, I saw that he had replaced both roters, without telling me, and without charging me! Felt a little bad for being suspiscious needless to say, and my car is running great. This is clearly a man who cares about his customers' needs and wants to please them.
