My wife's XC60 had a possible coolant issue, so called IM Autohaus to talk it through and get it looked at. They advised me on what to do and booked it in for investigation, fix and general service. They did it within a few days and great dialogue all through. I'd heard good things about them and all accurate. Richard was very helpful and kept me informed of progress, gave me a great deal and resolved the issue within a few days for first contact with them. See you again guys, and would recommend to anyone with a Volvo, BMW or SAAB as they specialize in these.

Brought my reasonably well-maintained but shabby Saab 9-3 to IM Autohaus because I was looking for a Saab specialist shop where I could address any underlying mechanical issues and refresh its look. Richard and the team at IM Autohaus have far exceeded my hopes for this car. They were able to secure parts that I thought went extinct with the brand and, in a couple cases, at a lower cost than I would have paid over a decade ago when Saab was still a going concern.

They really know these cars and won't waste your time or money guessing. They'll tell you what the car needs and what can wait. And, their body shop does outstanding work! Richard patiently worked with me on a plan for addressing all my concerns and the cost of it all was significantly lower than I anticipated. I'm convinced that it all comes back to knowing and appreciating the cars they work on. This is your one stop for mechanical and cosmetic issues on these increasingly rare vehicles.

Great working with Bryan, easy and fast process buying our 09 Subaru Outback. Have had it for a few weeks now and no issues! Helped us with the whole process even when we had out of state licenses. Would buy from again for sure.

I've been going to IM Autohaus since 2006 for all types of work on my Saab. They are a trusted service provider.

After 10 months my vehicle has finally been registered and the title was received. You read that right, it took 10 months for this dealership to register the vehicle I had bought from them in April 2021. I contacted the salesman multiple times each month and was given different stories everytime. From "I just put your documents into the mail this morning", to "Maria is sending the paperwork today".

And finally after 10 months of waiting, I ended up going myself and paying $400 to register the car myself and had to go back to the DoL multiple times because the dealership hadn't sent the title to my financer yet, and so I couldn't request the title from them because it was somewhere with the dealership still. Now, I'm a very laid back and patient person.

I went 10 months without my title and registration, and never once raised my voice or disrespected anyone in this process, and the dealers I worked with were pleasant, however, there's one thing that the dealer has done that disappointed me to an extreme level and felt like a slap in the face. After all of this mess, Brian left me a message saying that he was sending me a check for $1000 for all of the trouble and extra I had to pay to do the registration myself.

That check never came. And then, weeks later, I get a text saying that he put a check for $400 in the mail for me, completely ignoring the $1000 from before. That check never came either. I am not upset that I didn't get the money, I'm upset that it was used as a way to pacify a customer they had screwed up with big time and then not even following through with it. Had they not mentioned sending me the money and just sent the title over, I would have looked the other way, but, in this day, to promise someone money, and then not deliver on that after stating you would makes me question your values and ethics. As a first time car buyer, I feel completely taken advantage of, and can't in good faith recommend this dealership to anyone except for a worst enemy.

The guys here are experts at taking care of my BMW, I trust them completely when I drop my car off. I've been going to them for a few years, I appreciate their consistency and transparency, and their consideration for the expensive parts and services that come with owning a German car. I've been bringing my SAAB 9-3 to them for 22 years. Think that says it all! Caring, diligent, expert service. We even bring our LEXUS GX470 to them for service.

Brian, Maria, and the rest of the team at IM Autohaus are friendly, knowledgeable, and very willing to work with you to get the right vehicle at the right price. I bought a Subaru Outback from them in the spring and they gave me a fantastic deal. Plus they helped with maintenance prior to a long road trip. Highly recommend.

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Tell you what you need and keep your car running. Have been a satisfied customer and don't trust my Saab with anyone else. Fix what is needed and do it right. Stand by their work, although the only issue I remember was with a part, not with the workmanship. Highly recommend!

Since moving to Virginia, I have been searching for an honest, reliable and trust worthy shop, and I've finally found it. They thoroughly explained what was going on with my car and gave me cost-conscious solutions. My car was repaired in a timely manner and thanks to them is running great. IM Autohaus has fair pricing and great customer service. I will be a customer for life.

This body shop is amazing! I had body side moldings installed in my new Forester today, and Richard and his team were extremely professional and courteous. Not only they did a great job installing the moldings, but they also got the car washed. I had talked to Richard a few days prior to get an estimate, and the best time to bring the car in, and everything worked like a clock. They are trustworthy, and I would definitely use Richard and his team again in the future for any of my car needs. 5 out 5 stars!

I've been taking my BMW's here for years. I called Rich at about 4 pm one day. Our Jeep was overheating, and we were supposed to use it to move my daughter to NC the next day. Rich said, bring it in. They took it right in, not even seeming to mind that I unthinkingly had brought the Jeep in with the U-Haul trailer still attached, creating havoc in their yard. The Jeep was fixed, ready to go by about 11 the next day. Outstanding.

These guys are great. Not only did they come down on the price of the RAV4 to better fit my budget, but they also took care of a minor cosmetic issue on the doorframe between the time I bought the car and the time I picked it up a couple of hours later(even though I was planning on doing it myself after I got home). Excellent service, I would highly recommend going to them if you're looking for a quality used car. Thanks again Bryan!

Fabulous customer service. I was considering getting rid of my car and now I'm going to have it forever thanks to finding such a trustworthy mechanic. Blair and Richard really know what they're doing and take the time to talk through my repairs. I always leave knowing what was wrong and feeling prepared to confront issues that may arrive in the future because of their care.

They have always made it easy for me to get my car repaired and I'm sure to go to them for all my oil changes too because I won't let anyone else touch my car now. I couldn't have found a better place to take my car!

Once again they have saved my a"" with my 2008 Saab. Blair went above and beyond not to mention the good work they do on these cars. Thank you again guys

Reasonable estimate. Car repaired and returned within time frame quoted. Car rinsed outside and wiped down inside before returned to me. Definitely will consider bringing car here for inspection emission and other routine repairs.

We purchased a car with them about 2 years ago, a few months ago we noticed the sunroof was leaking, we brought it in, they charged us $650 to fix it. A month later, the sunroof was leaking again, we brought it in again, they claimed it was a different issue (even though it was leaking in the exact same location) and tried to charge us $1700 to fix it - even though they said they had resolved it in the previous fix.

We said no at this point, when we went to pick up the car it was ABSOLUTELY destroyed. The sunroof originally leaked into the footwell, but when we picked it up it was stained all around the sunroof, they had pulled out the fabric on the ceiling, and now the top ceiling portion is hanging down. We called them back, and they refuse to fix it. It's absolutely disgusting and dishonest, instead of fixing our issue they made it worse, then have even refused to fix what they did. I would never bring your car here, or trust them with anything. We are going to report them to the Better Business Bureau, but this is your warning via social media.

I have zero issues with this dealer. Bryan sold me my 2005 Subaru Forester XT and its a great car I've had no issues. Bryan kept it real with me I didn't feel like he was Bsing me. Told me all the issues with the car when I asked, when I heard a sound in the steering column in the car he had it looked into immediately. Bryan was very helpful in explaining all the ins and outs when it came to me registering my car in Washington dc. This was a very pleasant car buying experience. Maria was also very helpful when it came to me having questions with my title.

Stopped by and got an estimate in record time, great price and super helpful. This is how every auto shop should be run! Looking forward to having the boo-boo on our Tesla from the weekend ice storm fixed. Apparently, they get very high marks for body work! Looking forward to this. Will repost with photos and what I'm sure will be quality workmanship to match their customer service!

Excellent, responsive, no fuss-no muss, service. No one trying to up-sell you to do work you don't want or need for your vehicle. Currently service my vehicle there, and will do so with my wife's as soon as the factory warranty expires. Easy to forget these days what good, honest, and non price-gouged service feels like. Highly recommend!

Good shop and good staff. Quality work at fair prices. I had been going to the dealer for service, but they always seemed to recommend unnecessary work, like $500+ to repair minor leaks in my 10 year old car. IM didn't push anything extra on me. Fair and honest is tough to find. IM did it for me.

Wonderful Service! Talked with Bryan to purchase a used car, knowledgable, helpful, and knew exactly what we were looking for. Came in looking at a Honda Accord, but we're really looking for a commuter vehicle, they had a Volkswagen GTI with low mileage and better gas mileage that was a much better fit, but Bryan helped us look at 4 different cars on the lot, giving us a wide range of options. They fully detailed the car, and put new tires on it, all in all a wonderful car buy experience!

I am about 6 years late in writing this review. I moved back to the DC area from CA in 2010, which meant I had to find a new place to service my car. Finding a good mechanic is like finding a hair dresser who can cut curly hair (almost impossible). I LOVE this place. I moved to Reston and there is a shop closer to me, but I still make the trek back because I trust these people.

They feel like family. They are chill. They are honest. They are knowledgeable. My favorite person there is Blair. He's been there since I started taking my car in. He is probably one of the NICEST people I have ever met. Hands down - the best place to take your Saab. (I have a 2007 Saab 9-3). If you take your car here because of this review - you're welcome. :)

Took my Saab 9-3 for the Takata airbag safety recall. They checked the car and told me to replace something damaged I did not notice. They also reprogrammed a spare key for me. No cleaning inside or outside. No coffee. But the job is done and I will probably come back.

I've been taking my 2004 9-3 Saab convertible to IM Autohaus for more than four years, when I inherited the car. Every member of the team provides exceptional, friendly service. They provide free metro transport service, work with your schedule to make the experience as convenient as possible for you, and are incredibly trustworthy. It's an old car, so when they find more wrong with it than I expected during a given service call, they help me prioritize the repairs that are most important for the safety of the car, those which can be deferred to the next visit, and those which I could do myself (i.e. change out wiper blades).

They also provide budget estimates in order for me to authorize the repairs and have even beaten those estimates when the repairs take less time than they expect. I highly recommend IM Autohaus and will not take my car anywhere else.

Honestly the best place I've ever gotten my car repaired. I have a 2002 Saab 9-5 and I was worried that my car was on its last legs. Though they were busy when I called, they were accommodating, let me drop it off after they closed and they checked it out and repaired it early the next day. Blair explained the weird noises my car was making and was very upfront about which repairs I needed and which I could skip, and didn't try to upsell me at all. They're very transparent about their costs and pricing, charge less than their competitors, and provide top-notch quick service. I'll definitely be back.

Great shop for your auto repairs! Catering especially to Swedish automobiles, Volvo and Saab but highly capable of servicing and car lovers car with expert attention to detail and costumer service. I am one of many Saab enthusiasts that suffer from a short list of repair shops that not only repair Saabs, they also share my love for the car. I had IM Autohaus to replace the engine in my 2000 Saab Viggin Turbo with no issues.

Shortly thereafter, I was involved in a front end collision, that resulted in damage to the hood, grill, headlight, ac condensor, and much much more. They replaced the necessary parts and painted her and she looks BETTER, than ever. (I had several chips on the hood from bugs and rocks). In closing, IM Autohaus is a great repair shop for any vehicle but for your Saab and Volvo, its the only place! They also have a pretty nice selection of autos for sale for those looking for a great vehicle at an Awesome price.

I can't say enough good things about this group--- very trustworthy, skilled, fair price, professional. They have kept our 2005 Saab Aero running. We have and will only have our Saab fixed & serviced here. Highly recommend!
