Skilled and reliable mechanical repairs performed by a team as friendly as they are professional. After 20 years of working in auto-repair shops, Jaime was ready to go into business for himself -- doing things his way. So, he opened up Underhood Automotive in 2006 and got to work taking care of his customers in the best way he knows how.
We want you to be completely satisfied with our service, so please let us know how we're doing. A little background story. My son had been driving across country and was 6 hours away from being home when he broke down in Redding. Sadly, this was on a Saturday and shops where closed. On Monday, I called and spoke to Jamie.

I've taken my vehicle in twice for service here and have interacted with several employees. All of those interactions have been great! The employees have always treated me with positive, friendly customer service paired with clear, transparent communication on what's going on with my vehicle and what's needed to complete the work (which I greatly appreciate as a woman who's had negative and condescending experiences at other auto mechanics').
They've been very accurate with their time estimates needed for the scope of work and their pricing has been very reasonable. I will definitely be returning here for future vehicle service needs. I highly recommend them!

Jamie is great. I had my car serviced & they treated my car like it was there's. Top of the line service. Quality work, most of all I trust them to do a super Job, that I have peace of mind driving in my car. This is on thing I don't have to worry about. I will be back for oil change and other things I might need.
