Right Solution

Very helpful after a 'major' breakdown. They not only discovered it was a simple accelerator spring break, but also improved on a previous 'bodged' repair, gave us a couple of extra springs, just in case, and showed how to do any future fix ourselves. It also helped that they were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about our, verging on classic (old), vehicle.

I recently took our SAAB convertible to this garage with a problem with its roof. I was quoted 1200 for a new hydraulic pump and ram, with new parts being shipped in from Sweden. I took it another soft specialist that charged me 380 and replaced two sensors and gave it a service for another 40. The roof now works like new. They told me in the 20years they've been working on SAAB's they've never seen the hydraulic pump fail as its all over engineered. I'll let you draw your own conclusions from this.

I took my Saab 9-5 TTiD 2011 for Turbo change. I told them that my secondary turbo is gone need a swap. They called me later diagnosing that my car needs a regen, also they used up the oil and filter I gave them for later use when turbo is replaced. My answer to this was, why need a regen for a car which had already EGR+DPF removed? Then they check my turbo and agreed that I was right.the turbo is gone, need replacing.

They took the turbo out, I took it to be refurbished, then with the refurbished turbo went back and they installed. The aftermath: cooling system is leaking, the oil sump screw knackered ( now cant change the oil ) also were missing the shields from the bottom of the car what they had to replace, because I went back right away complaining that they did not put them back.

Also my air conditioner has been disabled (pressure sensor unplugged, they did not plug back) What I learned: Never go back to them. They butchered my car, now need to fix the water leak and remove the butchered oil sump plug.

Before I used saabtech I heard good things. To start off with they were great but after a while I could see that I was getting ripped off. I paid 600 for a brand-new cat, ever since they fitted the cat the engine light stayed on. The owner dave told me that it would go off after a while. That wasn't the case. It just burned excess fuel since this happened.

Avoid them. If they know that you know little about cars they will take you for a ride. Literally as I would drive off the forecourt after picking my car up something else will go wrong with it. Diabolical

SO pleased with the service I received, very made up. It was a spare of the moment seeking for help, I walked round with my friend, we were about to walk the dog, but my car a couple roads away had managed to lock all the doors with the key in the ignition. The lovely man came round literally instantly and sorted it for me and we had a lovely chat while he fiddled around to get me in my car. I was worried I'd have to pay a load of money but I didn't thank god as it's Christmas time and everything. BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT service highly recommend. Go on Saabtech!
