I needed a few caps for my tires (the cap for preventing air coming out) came here trying to buy some but the guy just took some for me without any hesitation! I also saw a couple talking to another staff and the staff was very patient on explaining things to them, I can see that the customer service is here great!

I miss SoCal Tire that used to be here. I came back in May for a checkup and it was free of charge and the owner was super nice. I decided to come for an oil change after having a wonderful experience with them. Apparently they sold the business and left and this business took over. This new group did not appear to know what they were doing and I even overheard them calling someone on what oil to put in my car.

No knowledge on how to proceed. They said it would take an hour roughly. About 20 minutes in, they informed me they couldn't rotate my tires. Confused, I reminded him that I was simply there for an oil change, he said it was part of their service (something not explained to me as a new customer). He then took me outside to show me and tell me how bad my back tires were.

When I asked if I needed to get new tires then, he said he just wanted me "to be aware of it." That was it. I went back inside to wait and it took another 40 minutes before they finally had me pay and sign for the services. My car was sitting and waiting for 10 minutes of that 40 minutes outside. This oil change was more expensive than any oil change I have had by $15 and I didn't even get their "complementary" tire rotation.

It also said "$10 discount" on the invoice but I couldn't figure out how or why that was on there. That means it should have been even pricier. Not very knowledgeable, not very personable, not discounted by any definition. I will not come here again.

Found out this morning So Cal tire service is closing it's doors! I have been going here for years and have to say that the owners decision to sell is a poor one. They have another shop in Anaheim but I doubt I will ever give Steve another dime! I want to thank Daniel and all the men who have serviced my vehicle, my families vehicles and friends who I referred to this shop. Sadly I will be back trying to find an honest reliable shop to service my vehicles. Sad to see y'all go.

I would NOT recommend this location! I usually go to the Pasadena Center and had a tire emergency so I stopped at El Monte. The staff in front were not willing to help me out, even though I brought my tires from DCT. He gave customers a rude attitude. Please save your time and money and go to a different location.

I came to get a flat tire checked out and even though they had a full day of cars to service the staff took the time to take a look and even patch my flat tire for me. I've honestly never felt more comfortable taking my car to get serviced. Everybody was so friendly and helpful and I will definitely be taking my car there regularly.

This is my favorite mechanic. Vic does a incredible job of making me feel comfortable and I always trust him with my cars. Great customer service goes a long way. He's mastered it. Fair and honest pricing. It gets no better! I highly recommend him.

I hadn't driven my car much because of COVID-19 so it didn't pass smog test because it wasn't ready. I drove the car over 200 miles at different speeds as I was told to do & it still wasn't ready. Andy at Brea Smog recommended Daniel at SoCal tires to see if he could get it ready. So glad he did. Daniel has gotten cars ready by using a monitor & driving after hours. he can see if your car can even be made ready or is there a repair needed.

He kept the car for less than 2 days & it was ready. No repairs needed. The fact that he drove the car outside of regular business hours made me realize what a dedicated to service owner he is. This is a honest, knowledgeable and friendly person. Thank you Daniel, my car passed smog test because of you. This is my new go to place!

I called and spoke with Daniel (owner) to inquire about a good set of tires for my vehicle. Daniel was extremely friendly, offered great customer service, and went out of his way to give me the best tire options for my needs. He was detail oriented and went out of his way to explain the reasons for recommendations he made for my vehicle. He also researched a lot of specific information about my tires and lent his opinion so that I was able to make a good decision about the tire brand I wanted to use.

Recently bought a Jeep Wrangler from out of state and the dealer forgot to provide the wheel lock key (I forgot to check for it too). I called them and they shipped me a brand new Mopar set but the key was still different. I called the dealer up, he said go to a local dealer they would look up the VIN and give me key. Local Jeep dealer said they can't help and asked me to go a local tire shop instead and have them break the locking lug nuts. Called a few places around, said they couldn't help.

I finally decided to just show up at SoCal Tire & Service and ask for help. Daniel was extremely patient and kind with me as I explained the situation. He seemed like he was having a very busy day but he still took time to assess the situation. The dealer had installed one those spinning lock nuts which are hard to remove without the right key. Daniel went through his stash of universal keys and found one that could be hammered in.

He promptly took out the existing wheel locks and put the new ones in. And he did NOT charge me a dime. Who does that?! Thank you Daniel! Will definitely be coming back for future service needs.

This is my go to mechanic where I take my car to get fixed. They are honest, they listen and do good work. Their prices a good and fair. You will not be disappointed with their service.

I found a screw in my tire and the pressure was low. I called around to the local shops. I got a hold of this shop and they offered to repair it for free the following day. I was able to get it done at another place during my lunch so I never end up going but that is extremely nice of a shop to offer free tire patch repair. Seems like they are a good local business and I hope more people support them.

LOOKING FOR A TIRE SHOP? LOOK NO FURTHER! I don't normally leave reviews, but local businesses like SoCal Tire deserve the business. I came in on two separate occasions to have a flat fixed. Daniel (I believe Daniel is the owner) informed me that the nail in the tire was too close to the sidewall to be patched. No problem I thought. I also asked him to check on the TPMS sensors since my tire pressure light was continually flashing.

He informed me that 3 of the 4 sensors had gone out. He did all of this without even asking me to pay anything. Since the other 3 tires on the car looked fairly new, he advised me to find the same tire, but didn't try and sell me on his own tires. He was never pushy and seemed to be looking out for what was in my best interest. He even advised me on which TPMS sensors to buy.

Typically tire shops will push for you to buy their tires or have them purchase parts for you, but not Daniel. I came back a week later with the correct tire & sensors. I asked Daniel to replace & reprogram all 4 sensors as well as the flat tire. Within about 1-1.5 hours, my car was ready to go. Daniel and his team at SoCal Tire are professionals and will treat you with the utmost care & respect. I was hesitant about trying out a new tire shop as I am fairly new to the area, but I will bring all of my future tire needs to Daniel for as long as I live in OC!

Went in due to a tire that kept going low for months. Turns out inside part was torn near the rim. Daniel was very quick and honest. Got a great deal on name brand tire installed less than 24 hours later! Will definitely be back!

Before I start, this Tire place sent me a great thank you card HAND WRITTEN to my home to thank me for bringing in my car and all I came in for was an alignment. I mean how often have you ever had a business even bother to know your name? I have never gotten such a more meaningful thank you from a business before and all I can say is that gesture is exactly how to earn someone's business for a lifetime.

Now for the actual review of the shop. After having called around Brea's multiple tire shops (and there are quite a few) this shop had the best price for an alignment. They have respectful workers, treat you like a human being, and tell you what you need to get done. They also hand write you a thank you card! I'm VERY picky on who I trust my business with, and these guys earned it.

I purchased 2 new tires for my Buick Grand National here. Had some steering issues. Vick recommended all the right solutions to get me up & running smooth & fast. Their prices & service is great. I'm very pleased & I highly recommend them!

Nothing like seeing that check tire pressure light come on. My car had not 1 but 2 nails in 2 different tires. At that point I just decided to replace all 4 of them. I purchased 4 tires from Toyo and brought them here to get installed. Daniel and his crew are super friendly, honest and reasonably priced. Found them thru a random Instagram DM sent to the Mister who followed his build.

I am happy to support local businesses, especially those who have a passion for the industry. While I was here I watched the crew interact with other customers. Nothing but positivity happening here. Located on Imperial Highway in Brea right next to Hapa Cupcakes. Plenty of customer parking. Covid measures in place. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Everything is Awesome here. There are only a few shops I trust with any of our cars. This place made our list. Support your local shops.

I called for a quote for 4 tires for the Audi. They provided me with the OEM quote. I let them now this was for a vehicle I drive occasionally and he recommended a comparable tire that will meet my needs at a more economical price point. I drove down there and had the tires installed. Great service, fair pricing, nice waiting area and completed the job within the hour. I like supporting local independent business.

Socal tire, this will be my second car serviced by the shop and love them. Daniel is super knowledgeable giving me detailed explanations of everything going on.

I was honestly lucky to find this place. This is my second time getting my car serviced here. The first time was to get a tire repair. I was very happy with my service which brought me back to get my brakes done. I had been hearing a grinding sound whenever my car broke and it was quickly becoming concerning. Before I committed to scheduling anything, I wanted to see what my damage was and how much it would cost.

When I emailed them, they got back to me within 24 hrs and we were able to have a conversation over the phone about the entire service and what my cost would look like. I'm so happy I came here because the response time was so quick and they were very transparent about pricing. I knew exactly what I was getting into. They offered to check my brakes (free of charge) and I was able to take it in the same day to see what the problem was They got back to me within the hour and was able to service the same day within 2 hours.

I was so happy to get it fixed and was super happy with the way it came out. No more braks grinding and I once again feel safe on the road. I highly recommend this place, quick and polite service. I'll be happy to bring my vehicle here the next time I'm in need of service.

I'm very disappointed in customer at the Pasadena store on 1373 E Walnut Ave. I've purchased several sets of tires from them. Today I went in to repair a slow leak on one of the tires. They said I have to wait a couple hours to get it fixed so I asked to drop the car off in 15 minutes so I could get a ride home. I came back in 15 later to drop the car off and the service guy Mark said it's too late now.

He said 4 cars came in and now they don't have time. He was going to lunch didn't seem to care. I was surprised how 4 cars could show up so fast and now they didn't have time to. The employees acted like I was inconveniencing them with a repair. I'll never go back there and buy a set of tires again.

I have used DT for 12 years, 4 cars, always get a great deal and even fixed my tire before recommending the best options for replacement. My go to.

This place is the most horrible and messed up place to work or buy tires. They raise and lower prices for certain buyers and treat employees like scum. Owners only care for money going into their pockets and have some of the laziest people working in both the office and warehouse. I wouldn't recommend buying or working here. One of the worst companies I've ever seen in my life. I would give it negative stars but Yelp doesn't provide that option.

I ordered a set of 4 tires with 1-3 day express shipping. My credit card was charged, yet I did not receive the tires, even after 7 days. Emails and voice mails to customer service went unreturned. I finally had to dispute the charges through my credit card company. Terrible experience. NEVER BUY FROM THEM.

My tires finally arrived. They're black and round and the DOT codes indicate they were fairly fresh (manufactured in the past 16 months), so I'm generally satisfied. I received my order within 8 days and saved about $75 over buying them elsewhere, but I'm not sure if $75 is worth the hassle of dealing with an experience that was somewhat, uh, what would that word be. tiring? Bottom line: read the BBB complaint history before dealing with a company you've never heard of before.

I spent a lot of time searching tires on line. It looked like this company had the best deal for good tires.66$ for Dunlop. However, they end up sending the wrong size tires. I had no choice but sell them to the mechanic who agreed to purchase them. I had to get tires from she shop and paid 100$ difference. I sent email to their customer service about it. They did not even apologize. Never buy from them again.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I purchased a set of tire from Discounttires.com about two weeks ago. They sent me a confirmation of purchase via email same day (that has been the only thing I have received from them) they said that I was going to be given a tracking number for my order, but never go it. 2 days after the purchase day I called them AGAIN and asked when I would be getting those tires.

They said orders takes about 3-7 business days and that they will be emailing me a tracking #. I specifically asked the guy on the phone if those tires were available or if they were on back order, the guy says to me; no they are available and you should be getting them by next week. Several days passed by and seeing that I still have no tracking # and no tires I called back AGAIN and speak to someone else and the second person tells me that the reason why I still don't have the tires is because they are on national back order and will take up to 3 weeks until release day.

I checked on website and there were some other options of tires, but the other ones that they had for approximate same price I did not like; so since they dropped the ball on me. I ask the person if he can give me these other tires that I liked for the same price I paid for the other ones. It was about $10 more per tire. The guy tells me that he was going to send an email to his supervisor and that he will call me back.

Several hours went by I called them AGAIN, but he said. I still don't have an approval that he was going to resend another email and the he will call me right back. Well that was over 3 day ago I'm still waiting for a phone call or email. I FIND THIS UNACCEPTABLE. So since they canceled my order without even letting me know. I went to tire-easy.com and bought the tires from them and I even have a tracking # and everything Will never buy or recommend Discounttires.com to anyone.

Avoid at all costs! I ordered a set of Pirelli P6 four season tires online in late May, and received order confirmation on 3 June. By June 15, I was starting to worry. I sent an email to see why the tires hadn't arrived yet. No response. I called over on June 16, and was informed that the tires were out of stock "nationwide" and that my order had been cancelled.

Funny thing, is that the tires are still on their website in my car's size, just $30 a tire more expensive. Will check with the credit card company to make sure I'm not being defrauded.

This is horrible scam, I ordered from their web site, they charged right away, and after 5 days I received an e-mail saying they are currently out of stock for this order. Now I am waiting for my refund.

Simply the worst. After waiting over a week for a simple FedEx tracking number, I called. I got one of their "reps" on the phone, who put me on hold several times. Finally, I received a convoluted story about how the DOT stickers on my tires were outdated, and they couldn't be shipped until that was resolved. Sounded like BS to me, but I said fine, I'll call back.

After a couple of days, I called again. This time, the story was they had to call the warehouse manager and find out, but he was currently unavailable. They promised to call me back. A couple of more days. No tracking number, no phone call, and no tires. The story this time was the most outrageous of all. They claimed the tires were shipped two weeks earlier (the day I called), and that I could just call FedEx myself and get the tracking number.

This really sounded like BS, but I did call FedEx anyway. Yup, you guessed it.no such shipment. My next call was to my credit card company with a fraud complaint. Platinum Visas are worth the extra couple of bucks each year. They immediately credited my account, and are going after these guys. The next day I called Discount Tires Direct (who I should have called in the first place) and ordered the same tires. I had them in three days. Stay away from Discounttires.com. They are either incompetent, or are into some kind of scam.

DON'T BUY FROM DISCOUNTTIRES.COM. A complete nightmare to deal with! I ordered a set of tires for my truck on November 8th and paid the extra fee to have them expedite the order. Needless to say, my tires never arrived. I spoke to David several times and he was unable to locate my tires. He claims that it left the warehouse via FedEx but was unable to provide a tracking number. David said he will let his manager know and that I will get a call.

His manager Chris NEVER called and I left a few voicemails asking him to call me regarding my order. After a week of dealing with this company I decided to cancel my order with them. David, the person I dealt with said that my account will be credited two days afterwards. It has been almost 10 days and my credit card still has not been credited. If you want discounted tires with a service that is far below average, then this your place to shop. Considering the state of the economy, one would think this company would focus on service and be more committed. It will be a surprise that Discounttires.com survives as a viable company.

I was having problems finding my size tire especially in General Tire Brand came across discounttires.com and they had the tires and the price was right. So Sunday Sept 4th I placed my order, not expecting much to be done until at least Tuesday. That day came and went and nothing no confirmation, no. shipping nothing. I sent them an email that afternoon response I called the 7th, The guy I spoke with said that the order was to be shipped today was on the dock.

The next day online the order still said processing. I called again that afternoon and the guy said that the tires were on the dock, I said that was what I was told yesterday, He said he was sure they would go out today and I would get a tracking number later. I did receive a Fed Ex Tracking notification and an email saying that the order was being shipped at 3:35 pm then at 7:47 pm same day I received another email saying my money would be refunded because Tires had old dot numbers, no tires on back order from General. Just received the refund today 9/14/11 Very disappointed.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Ordered tires from them 3 weeks ago. Got a tracking number, for the first week and a half it showed that they hadn't left the warehouse yet. I had to cool at least 10 times until I got an answer as to why. They said there was a issue with the tires being too old which was understandable that they would have to get fresh ones from the manufacturer.

But now after 3 weeks they still haven't been shipped and after calling another 10 times, I kept being told different things as to when they would ship. Worst company Ive ever ordered from. STAY AWAY

Went with this terrible operation to save $3 a tire over tirerack. Deserves negative stars. Worse decision I've made in a long time. Absolutely worst customer service. Called a dozen times during their business hours on a Thursday to verify overnight would get my tires to me by Friday. Sent emails, more phone calls, nothing. So a half hour before they closed I just went and did the purchase w/ overnight shipping. Friday I call and call and email and finally get a hold of someone. Chris tells me I'll get my tires Monday. APPARENTLY they take 24 hours to process orders. THIS IS NOT in the terms and conditions like Chris told me. It's in your order confirmation, after you pay them.

Very final page after you hit submit. Also Chris says they close at 5:30pm, not the 6:00pm they have listed on the webpage. Hey Chris, never tell a customer they're wrong, especially when they're staring at your web page that says 6pm and not 5:30pm like you think. Monday no TIRES. WTF! I call, I email. Finally get a hold of someone. Tires will be there Tuesday. Did I mention these tires need to ship about 100 miles? Anaheim to San Diego.

I get tracking numbers Monday late afternoon. Says I'll have tires Tuesday. So glad I wasted overnight shipping. Chris did say since the order hasn't shipped he can change it to ground. Hahaha, ya ground helps me get my tires sooner. He wasn't offer to ship overnight at ground price, simply saying I could ship ground to save money. Asinine how terrible their customer service is.

A respectable company that breaks a promise to a customer (promising I'll get tires Monday) would call immediately when that's not going to happen, apologize, comp shipping and try and make things right. None of that happened. Tuesday comes and I get new tracking numbers saying I'll get delivery Wed! Are you kidding me? I call shipping company.

No record of tires being delivered to shipping co yet and it's after 1pm! I call discounttires. Oh look, it's Chris again. Tells me I'll get tires Wed and they've had server problems and he's got 200 other ticked off customers. NO CRAP. You can't provide overnight shipping on something and take 4 business days to deliver.

You can't promise customers they'll have their product by a certain date and not delivery. You can't lie about delivery twice. You can't make up rules that aren't in your terms and conditions. I think I've gotten one apology (none sincere). No one has tried to make this right. STAY AWAY. They shouldn't be in business and won't last.

Tires arrived by mail as expected in good condition. It wasn't blazingly fast or anything, but the price was really good and the tires are on and under their road hazard warranty. Would consider using them again.
