I brought my car in for the annual state inspection. I also told the receptionist to have them do an oil change and rotate the tires as well. SURPRISE. when I picked the car up, I was told that the oil change and tire rotation was not needed at this time. How many businesses would turn down an opportunity to make more profit. even if it meant doing something that was requested but NOT necessary? One of them would be Integrity Automotive. They truly live up to their name. They do business with I.N.T.E.G.R.I.T.Y. Why would I think of going any place else?!

As always I was very pleased with the service. I was afraid I would miss Kim very much, and I do miss her but Nicole's information about the services my car received and would need in the near future, I am about to reach the 100K mile mark, were precise and detailed and she could explain them to me very well. And as usual, all the information including prices were printed out for me.
The work on my car was done within the time frame given, an important factor for me since I live by myself and this my only ride. Integrity prices are compatible with other places but the service is superior. My car has been serviced there for seven years and there haven't been any unpleasant surprises on the road. I highly recommend Integrity Automotive.

As always, Integrity went over my vehicle and checked for the problem I thought I had. They explained I did not have a coolant leak but probably an overfilled reservoir. They pressure tested the system to be sure. I was relieved. A big worry was not a big problem. I was appreciative. Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I highly recommend Integrity Auto Services! I stopped in on a whim today after leaving a bad experience where I feel I was being upsold at another place and Integrity fit me right in. Not only were they honest, they took the time out to really listen and go the extra mile, without knowing they would obtain my business or not. Diane was super professional, courteous and personable. Henry was awesome and made me feel like my car was in trustworthy hands. This really meant a lot in a world that seems as though the "upsell" means more than honest service. Thank you so much, will definitely be back!

Integrity Automotive lives up to its name. They are honest, and have saved me a lot over the years giving good advice and charging fair prices. I trust them, and have never been disappointed. Only problem is that they're so good they're always busy! You might have to wait a few days to get an appointment, but it's worth the wait. Highly recommended.

My son came home from college for the weekend. He told me he had a noise coming from his vehicle. It was Friday morning and our normal service center could not see us and they are not open on Saturdays. I called Integrity and even though we never used them I told them My situation with my son needing his vehicle by Sunday to get back to college. They told me they would see what they could do.
They called me in a couple hours told me it was his back brakes and said they would order it and have it done by Saturday. They got it done and my son made it back to college on Sunday thanks to them. Great services and and accommodations.

I came in for a state inspection 4 days before it expired. Integrity graciously performed this without an appointment. Had to wait for awhile as there were a few people before me. Glad that I did. I was able to observe this wonderful establishment. The mechanics worked with precision. The waiting room exuded an unexpected cozy warm vibe. The attendant (may have been an one of owners) gave updates on progress and time to us as we waited. This will definitely be my go to place in Culpeper. A treasure.

Have useusintegrity for all maintenance and repairs on my two vehicles for many years. They are competent, knowledgeable and a good company. They always give a heads up on needed repairs without a sales pitch. Completely satisfied with their many years of service. Maybe a big pricey, but so far well worth it due to their excellent work.

Update: Integrity owned up to their mistake and I am happy with the resolution. As promised in the review below I am updating the rating. My vehicle battery was left dead after inspection due to the daytime running lights being left on. Went to pick it up on a Sunday and nobody was there to help me jump it. Had to drive back home for jumper cables.
I am writing this while my wife is driving us back to integrity to jump it. We do not know if irreparable harm has been done to the battery as you are never supposed to fully drain them. I will update my rating based on how Integrity responds to this situation.

Decided to try this place after another auto repair shop was a huge disappointment. Long story short, my car battery died while I was in Fredericksburg around noon. I called Integrity, spoke to a lady who was very kind, and we set up an appointment for 5. After I jumped my car and arrived at Integrity, they got to work fast and I was back on the road. Maybe a tad pricier than I was expecting but I'm okay with it due to the fact they got me in last minute, worked fast, and provided great customer service.

I've been to this place a few times and never had an issue. I have noticed they are a bit more expensive than other places in town (for certain things I needed). However, the friendly and honest atmosphere kept me coming back for basic needs. Most recently I scheduled an appointment for a front light that went out and an inspection. I got there exactly at 8am, my scheduled time.
I noticed the waiting area was full and there was not many places to sit. I wasn't surprised by this since it was getting close to the end of the month after all and I understand people rush in for their inspections. The lady at the front desk desk, Diane, greeted me. I informed her that I had an appointment at 8am and her response was "We had 3 people walk in for inspections in front of you so we had to take them first." I wasn't really expecting that as an instant reply so I stated back to her again that I had an appointment.
She then replied by telling me it was a state law that inspections are taken as a first come first serve basis and all those people walked in ahead of me. While that may be the case, I also had an appointment for something other than an inspection and found it extremely unprofessional to take multiple clients first knowing there was a scheduled appointment arriving soon.
My personal view is that it's not good business to take people in front of those that had appointments. I understand you have to take the walk-ins as first come first serve as you're available but that doesn't change the commitment you set to your customers who had appointments and you should still have a mechanic dedicated to the appointments you already had set. Needless to say, the approach could have been handled better. Also, she could have notified me of this when I scheduled my appointment so I wasn't surprised upon arrival and could have planned for that.
I ended up leaving and going right across the street. That gentleman set clear expectations regarding the wait time and even offered to give me a ride home or to work if needed. I gave 3 stars because in the past I have had no issues however, they had a different person working the desk then.

My husband and I have been going to Integrity Automotive for about 10 years! Kim and her husband Philip are truthful, friendly, and knowledgeable about our vehicles. The service teams at each of Integrity's locations(I've used the Orange, Downtown, & Brandy Rd locations) have never disappointed us. I highly recommend Integrity!

Called about diagnosis for "Service Engine Soon Light." I spoke to Kim. She was clear and professional. Minimum charge for diagnosis was $92.50, possibly more if they need to spend more time diagnosing the issue. That's their hourly labor charge. They were going to plug in a code reader. In my opinion it's a very high hourly charge for this type of an independent operation.
I called the local dealer, and found they charge $99 an hour. The dealer has much more overhead and investment in specialty equipment to get some jobs done properly. The also specialize in working with on your vehicle make. Dealer mechanics have required training and certification. Do you want a mechanic who's done the same repair 3 times this month.
Or someone who is reading the manual? A dealer is also going to maintain a supply of many parts on-hand and be able to get the work done more quickly as a result. I hate most dealers, but in this case paying dealer rates, for mom and pop shop, in a rural market, is absurd. Auto industy background you should know. Automotive repair work is billed at book rates for a project.
They look up the job and the there's a time that the rate book says it will take to do they job (in a professional, unrushed manner) It includes extra time for typical issues. If the book says 1.5 hours and the job takes 1 hour, you pay 1.5 hours. If it takes 2 hours you should still pay for 1.5 yours. Typically I've found "the book" overestimates the time it takes to do a job. If you know what you're doing.

They were very friendly people however overpriced. I had an issue with my rear differential in a 2011 nissan rogue. They replaced A PART of the rear differential (electromagnetic coupling) & a month later not only did it break, the whole rear differential had to be replaced. The shop I went to in Manassas charged $1130 for the ENTIRE rear differential replacement cost of part AND labor.at integrity it was $1650 for just a part of the rear differential. I doubt I would do business there again. The whole service was a waste.what to last me a month?

Fast, friendly, honest, and comprehensive service! We've been taking all our vehicles to Integrity since we moved to the area over 12 years ago. They treated us like long-time, valued customers since day one. All our vehicles are high-mileage, and they do excellent work on all of them. They recommend best solutions, will work with you on what repairs to defer, what not, to work within your budget, and will even refer you to someone else if they aren't the best or lowest price at something. They have almost always come in under their estimates on all work they have done on our cars. They are, in fact, as good as it gets.
