Have signals or fans not working or some other kind of electrical issue, try our electrical diagnostic it is the best in town. We specialize in those hard to fix issues. A steady miss indicates one of three things: a cylinder that isn't firing because of an ignition problem, a cylinder that isn't firing because it isn't receiving fuel (multipoint fuel injected engines only), or a cylinder that has lost compression.
A clicking sound when turning is one of the classic symptoms of a worn or damaged "constant velocity" (CV) joint. Your car has four such joints on the two front axles: two inboard joints and two outboard joints. The outboard joints are the ones that make a clicking sound when they go bad. Inside the joint are six steel balls, positioned in grooves between an inner race and an outer housing. The balls are held in position by a cage that looks something like a wide bracelet with windows or slots cut in it.

Mikey is one of the best in the business. He has served the midtown community for 26 years at his shop. He is the only AAA certified repair shop in the area. If anyone has AAA they will recommend you to his shop for repairs. There is nothing Mikey can't do. I had an exhaust issue and I personally watched Mikey weld a flex pipe onto my car and it was so good it looked better than the original welded by the manufacturer. Amazing service.

Old good days are gone. I went this place this morning, and the staff charged me $119 (for checking, not fixing) and ask me to leave my car. But not bothered to see my car. So I went another place, and they do care about my car and able to fix in 15 min and charged $35. I believe this place once had a good reputation but now they are destroying it themself by only care about money, not fixing cars.

I've had a couple of issues with my '07 Tacoma from air conditioning issues to brake line repair and each time Midtown Auto was able to resolve the issue promptly. The owner and staff are reliable and they communicate their diagnostics to you very well, a lot of times taking the effort to personally show you the changes made. The only issue I've had is availability during the weekend. I'd definitely recommend.
