Good people and excellent service. They really deliver the service your car need. They do not try and make up things about your car. You can rest assure that what they say is wrong with your car is correct. They do not try to run your bill up be telling you false information. This will forber9be my choice.

Had an amazing experience with them. Very honest and trustworthy. Definitely a breath of fresh air as a female when too many horrible experiences dealing with shady mechanics.

We had gotten a costly repair estimate from our dealership. Took the vehicle to Nevco, where they determined that while some of the items were in need of addressing, a vast majority of the quoted work from the dealership wasn't necessary. Although they could have easily made in excess of $3,000 on the job, they instead quoted me for the items that actually needed repair and got to work. It's good to find an honest mechanic who isn't in the business of ripping people off.

I was lucky to find these guys based on recommendations from neighbors when I moved to Houston about a year ago. They are very knowledgeable and ethical and their prices are very competitive. Highly recommend Nevco.

My mother used Nevco in the late 80's and so I've always used them too! Hernon and his son Cody are two of the most authentic, reliable, honest mechanics/business owner I've ever dealt with. Throughout the years he services all my cars and even services my children's cars now too. One time my daughter told him her car was shaking really bad and after looking at it he said "go get you some new tires, dear!" Hahaha And could've easily said it was something else but was very honest with her.

Another daughter would stop by so he could air up her tires in the way to work, and they always did it. Lol His prices are in-line and reasonable, he explains everything thoroughly, and answers all questions. The turnaround time is FAST and they have a waiting room with a tv on to enjoy. The receptionist and every employee there is friendly and is always aware of what's going on and the status of your car. Oh, the puppy dogs in the office just too off all the goodness. : Nevco is an Above & Beyond company!

They are beyond accommodating I love this place so much! For example I love the fact that they open at 7am. I work 9-8 so it's really difficult to find a place that opens early almost all mechanics open at 8 or later so by he time I get it diagnosed I'm already late for work. You can also pay by phone which is extremely convenient. I'm a girl so I don't know much about card and trust this place with my life! They've done previous work on my Jeep and I will continue to bring it here. Excellent work and super friendly staff!

A few years back I took my car to the dealership to get some regular maintenance and a leak repaired. Serviceman quoted me $3,400. I called up nevco Auto Repair from a referral from a friend. Before the owner even asked any questions, he said knock off 30% of what the dealer quoted you. I brought it in and they did a look over of the vehicle to see what needed to be done.

And it didn't need everything the dealer had quoted me. In the end the repairs cost me $700. I've brought my vehicle back the nevco repair and they've taken care of me ever since. I won't go to anybody else, and neither should you. They're honest and hard-working and do a great job every time. They will not tell you you need something you do not need.

Can't say enough of how easy it is to work with these guys and what a great job they do to explain everything and communicate. Have been going to one place for years and then had to switch it up do to some sketchy repairs and pricing. Not only was it the lest expensive estimate I received but the only one where they explained what options I had and worked with me to get my car back to me asap, even over a holiday weekend.

I had window problems and there was a lot of rain in the forecast (nightmare!) and the folks at Nevco were awesome. I called a bunch of places and even took my car to a dealership at first. Michelle called around and got the part at a cheaper price point than the competitors and the overall quote was way more affordable than the dealership as well as other mechanics in the area. Cody took care of my car and was super honest and up-front with me. I will be bringing my car back here for future repairs for sure.

This place is amazing. I have a 2006 BMW 530 i, gifted to me by my father-in-law, who warned me that I couldn't get it repaired anywhere but the dealer. I've been going to the awful dealer, and they charge me a minimum of a thousand, no matter what's wrong with my car. And sometimes my car runs worse after they "fix it" than it did before.

But I kept going back because I assumed no one else could do BMW's. Anyway, the brake pad warning light went off in my car, and I miserably dragged myself to the dealer, which, true to tradition, told me that they would charge me a thousand to replace only the back brake pads. If my fronts also needed it, they would get back to me and let me know.

They would keep my car for a couple days. I told the guy that I couldn't afford it and drove away, not knowing what to do. Miraculously, my husband, who drives a Subaru (another car that usually only a dealer can service), had discovered Nevco, which had been able to service his car very cheaply and well. He asked them about my BMW, and they told him they could do my brake pads for $250.

I showed up this morning, prepared to sit for several hours. Well, they told me that nothing was wrong with my brake pads and that they had clearly been serviced somewhat recently, but the warning light had not been reset. They charged me nothing for that. Then they pulled the nail out of and patched my back tire and charged me $15. I sat there for just a short time. I love this place. Very nice people who clearly care about their craft and give honest service and an honest price. What a find! I will go here from now on.

These guys are in my neighborhood. I had to get a new engine on my Honda Odyssey minivan and after dealing with these guys, I came away trusting them and not feeling ripped off. I will go back and hope I can use them going forward! Would recommend them at this point.

I had my old SUV repaired here today. They did a great job. The truck runs great, and they even brought me into the shop to show me the part they replaced and explain how it works. I have found my new go-to shop, and with a 16 year old truck, I may just be visiting them more than I want. Well, that's okay. These folks were a pleasure, and their work was spot on.

Love Hernan. Come here for everything and they are beyond amazing. He is very friendly and helps out with everything! Don't be scared by the shops location just go in and ask for Hernan he will be very kind and friendly and help you out as much as he can!

I am so happy to see Nevco is still around. We used Hernan for all of our 4 cars for about 15 years and we have since moved away. All the descriptions of dealing with Hernan and the shop are exactly what we loved about going there. When I was young and newly married with children, I could take our car to Nevco and find out from Hernan what we *really* had to do to keep it safe and running without spending too much money. My dad used Hernan for his work trucks and my mom's cars. It is hard to find a good mechanic and you are lucky if you live in Houston!

Interactions with NEVCO owner Hernan Nevarez and his front desk employees are easy. I agree with prior reviews that he does not try to sell you a bunch of services you don't need, a major concern of mine with mechanics. Hernan personally drives every vehicle that is brought in for repair and I have always received a call from him with a diagnosis. We have a '99 Lexus GS and a '01 Suburban.

I stumbled on this family-run auto repair shop randomly over a year ago and have returned for maintenance on my old car ever since. The owner is the one who communicates with the customers and he's incredibly helpful, explaining what's going on with the car and what to expect, and test driving it with you after. He has good hints about what towing companies to use and how to extend the life of your car.

I appreciate that he doesn't try and upsell and is good about doing what needs attention and no more. (I may be a little biased because he told me at this rate my car could go on for another 8 or 10 years.) If you want to get major maintenance done the same day, you'll want to get there at 7 a.m., when they open.
