I took a car here for a pre-purchase inspection and they charged me almost $350 more than a FRANCHISED DEALER WITH OEM PARTS AND CERTIFED TIECHNICIANS. The amazing thing is that these guys said the at car was bad and they did not recommend me buying the car. I did buy the vehicle and its a great car. These guys are only here to rip you off, do a google search for other mechanics in the area before taking your car here.
These guys are ASTRONOMICALLY OVER PRICED. There are a lot decent shops around, like Bill's Auto Service, Citco Car Care, Oceanic Auto Repair across the street from these guys.

We moved to Manassas in 2019. I have always used the dealership for maintenence on our vehicles but after a bad experience, I remembered that I have a choice on where I do bussiness. Thats when we found Convenience Tire & Auto. Satisfied does not give justice when discribing the experence we have had. I drive a 2015 Chevy Suburban and even though I love it, it does have issues from time to time.
When it does, the professionals at Convenience are always there to get me back on the road again. Besides having the best customer service I have experenced, their maintenence department is second to none! When you do bussiness at Convenience, expect Timmy to give you all the info you need to make an informed decision on the needs of your automobile. This includes identifing the problem, figuring out a solution, and an honest and fair price. Convenience Tire & Auto is the only place I do bussiness. Bill J

If you're looking for an auto shop or tires, this is the place to go! The staff is so friendly, and Timmy has helped me multiple times to get my car fixed up, and he ALWAYS finds a way to work with me when I need it. I got new brakes and new tires put on my 2016 BMW X1 today, and I'm so pleased with the service I got. They always get the work done in a timely manner, and one of the mechanics even gave me a lift home and back to the shop! All around great place and friendly people!

Great place for honest and reliable auto and RV repairs. UPDATE: I've now been a customer for 4 years, and have never had a bad experience. If every auto repair shop were more like Convenience, people wouldn't be concerned about being ripped off. Timmy and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable, are excellent at diagnosing, and do very high quality work that you can depend on. I haven't hesitated to recommend them to multiple friends. And all of them thanked me, stating that Convenience is the best shop they've ever used.

I called one night and was able to get an appointment the very next day. They're quick, reliable and fast. I was in and out for a state inspection & emissions in less than an hour. The staff is super friendly, I came in during lunchtime and they were ordering sandwiches for lunch and asked if I wanted anything. How sweet is that? Will always be coming back for all my tire/auto needs.

I needed a serpentine belt replaced. Timmy said to bring my car in at 1:00 pm that same day, that it wouldn't take long to replace. I ended up waiting longer then expected due to a delay getting the part over to his shop. When my car was finished after the longer wait, I was going to pay and Timmy said it was "no charge" that my time was valuable, he also apologized for my having to wait so long.
I was impressed that he took responsibility for the delay even though it was not his fault. Honestly I was shocked, NO business has ever cared about how long I had to wait for a service. I highly recommend them and will continue to put my car is their hands.

I've used Convenience Tire & Auto before to service my 2006 Porsche Cayman, I was very pleased with my previous services and I actually had a good trust going with that workshop. Sadly to say, a week I towed my car there for to check a white smoke coming out of the exhaust, the mechanic who checked my car said through Timmy the shop owner, my engine is damage and irreparable, the shop recommend an engine replacement for a cost equal to the value of the car. Convenience Tire & Auto diagnose was absolutely wrong, basically a TOTAL garbage diagnose and dishonest, I was charged 650 dollars for a machine didn't know what he was doing.
I took my car to a different Porsche mechanic, highly recommend in Virginia Porsche forums for a second opinion, and I'm glad I did, the next day my car was up and running perfectly after replacing a part caused the white smoke, and the engine is running fine, my total repair bill was 9% of what Convenience Tire & Auto have quoted me. Think twice before servicing your car at Convenience Tire & Auto, especially if it is a Porsche.

What an awesome fInd. Purchased set of tires from tirerack.com and found Convenience listed as a preferred installer. New facility located conveniently to us (near where we live in Centreville). Arrived a little before my 8a appointment on Saturday morning and was welcomed with a friendly greeting. Was offered coffee and a lift to the Yorkshire for a quick breakfast - when I was back they were well on their way. Offered free alignment check with installation (report came back that all was good). Great to have found a new go to place for general auto repair needs!

If I could give Convenience Car Care 10 stars I would. We took our 2015 suburban in for some issues with it shifting gears. Convenience performed the repairs and our car was returned. One day later the car wouldn't shift out of second gear. We called Convenience and Cindy handled everything. From getting the car picked up by tow truck, to calling every place around to get us a rental (we needed a SUV or mini van as were going out of town the day the car was towed). Timmy then called and let us know that the additional work was going to be performed under the cars powertrain warranty and he was working to get us refunded from the initial work from GM (as it was the vehicles codes that said the original parts needed to be replaced).
Long story short, Convenience turned a really stressful situation into a manageable one. I was so impressed by their work ethic, professionalism, and honesty. If these are things you look for in a auto repair shop, then I highly encourage you to use Convenience.

I'll be taking my car to Convenience Tire & Auto whenever I have a problem. EVERYONE who works there is very polite and super easy to get along with. I had to get two new front tires and after calling over a dozen other places, they were by far the cheapest and nicest of everyone I called. I came in with a wheel that had a massive dent which meant that I was losing air very quickly, and they took the time to stay after hours and hammer it back into shape, and now it looks brand new.
I also had problems with the plastic stuff that hangs in the wheel well (it might actually just be called the wheel well, I don't know, I'm just a musician and know nothing about cars!) which made godawful sounds whenever I turned the wheel. They fixed that as well, and now my car feels better than it did when I first got it. The shop is very clean and again, everyone there is super cool.
I hope I don't have any more issues with my car, but if I do, I'm headed straight to you guys! Thank you all so much for helping me out; you saved the day! P.S. Looking forward to hearing from you about that community party! The band would love to play! -Jory L

Took car in for an oil change to Pepboys and was informed that my front struts were shot, needed to replace my front brakes and rear brakes. Total estimate $1,800.00. Had car recently inspected and only noise when I excelerate, not when I break. I took it to Convenience Tire and Auto for a second opinion and they confirmed that the noise was coming from a front flap that was pressing against the front tire, not the breaks.
They fixed it, FREE of CHARGE. Replaced both filters and felt Convenience Tire and Auto had my best interest at heart. Confirmed that the struts and breaks were in good condition and I would have paid over a thousand for unnessary repairs. Dishonest and unreliable service Pepboys provided, I was a long time customer (since 2000) one location can really ruin a company's reputation. I am now a loyal customer of Convenience Tire and Auto.

I have been here twice. For both times, I've come asking for them to do an inspection and then to get the oil changed. They were able to get me in both times without a problem and the wait was not long at all! The staff is courteous and personable. They offer entertainment and beverages while waiting!

Went for a state inspection. Informed I was third in line. 2 hours later told I need new brakes and rotors and had a leaking strut, failed the inspection. Repair estimate $1,600. I left. Went next door, told the rotors were in great shape, had at least another 20,000 miles on the pads, and no repair needed for any strut, passed the inspection.

The owner "Timmy" runs a very honest shop and can fix almost anything. My special thanks go's out to him and his team for doing a full engine replacement on my 2010 Suburban. I purchased this Suburban used from Ford and Purchased the Ford Extended Service Plan from Ford. After owning the truck for a few months, the engine lights came on and the engine starting ticking. Timmy diagnosed the engine with low oil pressure and damage that occurred required a new Engine!.
This is when things got really crazy. I gave Timmy the warranty info from the service plan I had purchased. After contacting the warrany company, they initially said that they would not replace the engine because it is an existing condition. Timmy, a highly qualified mechanic knew that this was not the case. An adjuster finally was sent by the insurance company who agreed that the engine should be replaced and that it would be covered under warranty.
Thanks to Timmy's hard work and patience, we were able to get them to pay what they owed for the engine. Having a mechanic that looks out for you is very important. I have read many reviews that say that the extended warranty company's often decline paying the first time around. They are looking for any excuse not to pay. Luckily, Timmy and Convenience were looking out for my interests. The Suburban Engine is replaced and I am happy to have it back!

Stopped in on a whim and a prayer, looking for a good, reliable shop to service my truck. I'm new to the Manassas area and was looking for a new mechanic, but man did I strike gold when i stepped foot in here. I was greeted when I first walked in by Tim, who happens to be the owner, who was extremely professional and polite. He gave me a pretty comprehensive rundown of all options and possible expenses prior to service, and made sure to keep me updated of anything that came up during service. The service at Convenience Tire & Auto was swift, affordable, and so far reliable. I plan on being a repeat customer for the foreseeable future.

Having an electrical problem with my van, I went to my usual mechanic (over 20+ years). However when I entered the building, I didn't recognize anyone, but was quickly told the previous owner had sold the business to CCC. My only choice was to leave the van with the new owners and hope for the best. It turned out that my concern was not needed.
They were GREAT - found the problem quickly and repaired it, without charging me an arm and a leg. Will I continue to use CCC? - of course! Not being easily impressed, I was impressed with everyone I had met there and the service was fantastic - to locate a hidden problem and to repair it without fussing meets my standards!

Ive been taking both my cars to Convenience for years. Friendliest and most honest mechanics you can find. From the front end to the back end staff they greet you with proffesionalism and treat you as family. The work they do is honest and they do anything to accommodate you. Pros: friendly staff, nice and clean building. Water, WiFi, drinks and coffee available etc. Big cons: overpriced, Regular service for oil change, filter and tire rotation costs $150. I checked old town auto repair and compared apple to apple and was given an estimate of $95.99. Arrived at 1:45pm and the car wasn't finished until 3:15pm. I don't think I can afford to go back to the place.

This place is amazing. It has a small showroom of classic cars and motorcycles, all appearing to be in factory condition. They clearly love motor vehicles, and are artistic in their attention to detail. I made an appointment for regular maintenance and safety inspection one day in advance. The cost for full repair was astonishingly low. I added on a long overdue change of spark plugs, since the price they quoted was 2/3 that of a dealer. They gave me a ride home (in a Cadillac), and my car was done the next day - washed and both tires and interior detailed. They're polite, efficient, very good at what they do, and more than reasonably priced. This is a real find, and I'll never go anywhere else.

Well my pleasant vacation experience was cut short by a sharp razor like object and a nail in one of my tires. At 4:00 Pep Boys wouldn't even look at it, Merchant's Car Care put air in it and sent me away, AAA said they wouldn't be able to plug it bc of the way it's angled. My husband called this place at 6:15 and the manager (Timmy) said we close at 7:00 but bring it in and let me look at it.
They stayed late to patch my tire bc they knew I needed to head home early in the morning! If you live in the Manassas, VA area please patronize this place. Their service is impeccable!

Wow. Just WOW! Never in my entire life have I dealt with such nice people. I called on a Saturday morning and then was told I could come on in and man am I glad I did. I had zero expectations even despite previous reviews because I just never luck out with this type of stuff. For example I waited 4 hours at Pep Boys for two tires and I even had an appointment!
So I get there and am greeted by Timmy and I go on to add about 3 other items I needed done and he was just so kind and told me it was no problem. I was offered coffee, soda and water free of charge! I was even offered breakfast and declined but as I sat down to wait Timmy brought me a sandwich anyway and even offered to change the channel to anything I'd like to watch, I mean who does that?
The waiting area was clean and comfortable, the restrooms were clean and nicely decorated. Everyone I spoke to was so polite. YEAH! I never thought I would get to leave a five star rating for a auto repair trip but thanks to CCC, here we go: I initially found the business on yelp when my car started making a whistling noise on 66 - yikes! I called and Cindy answered, was very polite, helpful, resourceful, gave me their hours, suggestions on the best time to come in. what a relief.
I came the next morning, was greeted by Doug who showed me where to park, and then eventually met the whole team, including owner - Timmy who is just a fantastic small business owner. They graciously set me up in their conference room to work so I wouldn't have to take time off for the repairs, had coffee, cookies, good wifi. not bad for an unexpected morning at the repair shop! then prior to doing any work, he came in and explained what they found, what they would like to do, estimate on the cost and didn't over simplify or patronize me.
I mean, I knew I would have to pay something because the car wasn't functioning properly, but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of labor applied and the total price. His wife was there as well and was very welcoming, made sure I had all their contact info for any future needs. Kind of weird to say but they are helpful to the point you almost (almost) want to go back. many thanks to the team at Convenience Car Care. definitely worth the drive down to manassas and all the other shops I passed along the way!

I had initially posted a one star review as the first time that I had brought my car in to be repaired, there were some miscommunications between Convenience, my insurance company, and myself that had left a bad taste in my mouth. Timmy promptly addressed my review in an attempt to clear things up. About two weeks after they had initially repaired my car, the same symptoms that had prompted me to bring my car to Convenience in the first place were happening again.
When this occurred I felt completely justified in the review I had left, seeing as I was having the same issues just weeks later. I returned to Convenience with the mindset that they had screwed up the repair and they were responsible for fixing it. As it turns out the second issue was a different one that likely happened as a consequence of the first issue. Timmy worked directly with my insurance company, and had me on the line each time that he spoke with them.
He spoke with my insurance company to ensure that rather than starting a new claim, the first claim was extended to this repair. This prevented another deductible from coming out of my pocket. Each time that there was an update, Timmy called to keep me in the loop. They finished the repair today after several days of heavy snow, and arranged for someone with four-wheel drive to pick me up so that I could retrieve my car.
From the moment that I walked through the doors to drop my car off until I picked it back up this afternoon, Timmy made it his mission to reassure me that I was being taken care of. Despite the first review that was the elephant in the room, I was treated with respect and professionalism each time that I spoke to someone from the office throughout the entire process.
I believe that it truly speaks volumes about a company when they go out of their way to make things right with their customers when they are dissatisfied. Thank you Convenience Car Care for working so hard to change my mind about your establishment and your service!

Really cannot say enough positive things about this place. If you shop around to every single mechanic, you may be able to find a better deal on a minor scale. But, I took my car to another mechanic last year when they were offering a "free" car inspection. Suddenly my brakes were awful and they couldn't pass it. When not even 4 months prior I had it at the same place for a look over (including brakes) and not a word about them going bad.
And I don't drive much. Wanted $400 for the work. At Convenience Car Care, I always know they mean what the say, and that they care about their customers. No pressure, no scams. This alone will save anyone money in the long run. Plus I have peace of mind. I can't put a price on that. No stress is a BIG plus.
