I was looking for a new local/family owned mechanic. Mortys was recommended by a neighbor so I brought my car their for some repairs. the customer service was OUTSTANDING! and the prices didn't leave me eating Ramen for a mon. Highly recommend supporting this business!

I damaged my 91 Syclone, a vehicle that is hard to get parts for. Within 2 hours of talking with him, Morty called and had located the needed part (a rear differential), and had a plan to get it back on the road. He was also able to provide me with several sources for replacing or refurbishing my damaged wheels. He also was able to use some very creative fabrication skills to repair a part (an ABS sensor) that was not available anymore. I would highly recommend this repair shop for anyone looking for excellent work for a fair price. Good communication as well.

This business has as much professional integrity as it has professional service and work. My first personal dealing with Morty and now realizing how much time I had wasted at other businesses with challenging or guessing the work actually performed on my vehicle. From his initial work on our Jaquar to our Chevy truck, Morty's Autocare provided professional diagnosis and why it was important, kept open lines of communication, and timely delivered on his service. In my opinion, he was the consummate professional. My go to place going forward.

Morty is very honest and competent. My son's car needed a lot of work. I had been taking it to the dealership but, given the amount of work it needed, I took it to Morty's. He did a GREAT job. The dealership said it had a cracked (AMG) rim and needed a new one (for which they wanted $2,200) but Morty determined it was just the seal for the tire pressure gauge that was causing the tire to lose air. Parts & Labor = $70. Nice!

Morty is a great and reasonable price mechanic shop. I have taken all three of my cars for repairs at this shop and the prices are always lower than the dealerships. My cars are one Nissan Altima, and two BMWs. The service is exceptional and I recommend the shop to all my friends and family.

Morty's is honest and helps me maintain my obsession of keeping old vehicles where most average people trade in or sell anything older of 10 years. I took my 2007 Honda Civic to Morty for replacement of the ball joints and compliance bushings and asked if he would check over anything else that he may see. I received outstanding service, my car was serviced same day and I felt very comfortable leaving my car with someone I could trust! Morty's Autocare did a fantastic job with my car. Took our car here a couple of days ago for replacement of rear brakes and headlight bulbs. Morty was friendly, and we got our car back within the expected timeframe. Charges were reasonable (actually coming in a bit under what was initially quoted over the phone, a pleasant surprise). Overall a very good experience.

Morty has been maintaining my two vehicles (a 2000 Mustang and a 2015 Escape) for past 5 plus years and I've been very happy with the quality of work and recommend him. He is honest and gets the job done right the first time with very competitive prices. Quick and excellent work. Competitive pricing as well. I asked to get my tires rotated since I figured it had been a while for my wife's car but Morty mentioned that it looked like the tires were new and didn't need a rotation yet. Most shops would just do it for the upcharge so I appreciate the honest work!

This place is an absolute gem. We failed inspection and were completely stressed about the cost to get it done and the time frame we had. We were referred by our neighbors and could not be more pleased with the experience. I called and got in very quick with flexibility for scheduling. It was the most seamless vehicle repair I have ever had. Dropped it off the night before, done in 3 hours, 20% less then everyone else's astronomical quotes and the owner was incredibly nice.

A good, reliable repair shop that doesn't overcharge, only recommends service that your car actually needs, and gets it right the first time. I have always been satisfied with Morty's service and have used him for years.

I own a BMW M3 and have always taken my vehicle to dealers for maintenance. However, after multiple negative experiences and overpriced repairs, I decided to find a profesional independent repair shop. Morty's Autocare repaired my vehicle within the same day at a very affordable rate. Morty's Autocare also used OEM parts for the repairs my vehicle needed instead of the lowest quality parts most repair shops use to maximize their profits at your expense. My only regret is that I should have taken my BMW to Morty a long time ago. I'll never go back to a dealership for repairs while Morty is in business.

After years of really bad mechanics, I was happy to find Morty's over 8 years ago. Morty's is extremely reliable and trustworthy, two traits hard to find in most mechanics. I've recommend multiple family members to Morty's and they all have been extremely satisfied. I'll continue to let others know and will definitely be going back for years to come.

I don't live in Chantilly but my GF does so I'm down there at least one weekend a month. This past weekend Morty bailed both my gf and myself out of nasty situations. She had taken her car to another shop (based on a recommendation) and they gave her an outrageous estimate (thousand$$) that included all kinds of work that didn't need to be done.

We took it right over to Morty's and he confirmed that most of it was unnecessary. We left it overnight. Meanwhile, I played chauffeur and noticed that my left front brake caliper seemed to be binding up. (Unmistakable smell of hot brakes.) I took it to Morty the next morning, no appointment (!), explained the situation, and in 90 minutes I was back on the road with a new caliper installed. Meanwhile, my gf's car was ready and we picked it up with a final bill of $330.

I suspect if I'd shopped around I might have found a slightly cheaper shop, but I very much doubt I could have gotten the incredibly quick, competent service I got at Morty's. I gave him four stars instead of five because he has a small waiting room and a meager collection of magazines. :) If there had been a 4.49-star rating I'd have done that. Highly recommended.
