I finished restoring (mostly) my '76 124 Spider in 2016. Tuned the new Weber carb best I could but it always seemed to run a bit rich leaving the plugs pretty black. Not as peppy as I thought it should be either. Finally had an opportunity to trailer it from Las Vegas to Upland, CA this week and Mark was all set to do a simple re-jet. Turned out the carb had more problems than we expected.
Couldn't shut it down with idle screw, float level was off, throttle valves didn't close all the way. I think in the end it actually got bigger jets rather than smaller. When I picked it up and got it out on the freeway I thought it was starving for fuel but after just a few minutes mark found that the condenser mounting screw had loosened on the side of the distributor causing the spark to just stop about 30% of the time.
I didn't mean to throw so much at him with this simple re-jet but Mark & Juvy hung in there and now it starts easier and runs like it should. More than happy with the end result.

I had a positive experience working out a return for an item that was incompatible with my project. The guys in their performance parts side of the house worked with me and issued store credit for the item. I'm pleased with the overall resolution and would certainly go to them for Fiat parts in the future.

Mark Allison first worked on our cars at the age of 17 in his Dads Moblie Gas station. He is still the only mechanic that works on our cars some 35 + years later. He is professional, fair, honest. And usually come in under the estimate. You make a appointment and your car is the one that is worked on and finished usually within a few hours. And best of all done right the first time. All makes of cars. I've had many throughout the years. You just found your lifetime mechanic.
