Buyer Beware. Bel Air Towing was called at 9pm May 12th to tow a car from Sepulvenda Blvd Los Angeles to tow toValley Village 13 miles away. They sent Eli Litvin to tow the vehicle. He charged $2500 for the tow, instead of the customary fee of $250. We contacted him directly upon the posting of the charge and he told us he could charge what ever he wants.
This is price gouging at its worst. Since we contracted Bel Air for the tow we thought they would assist us. They refused to help us stating that the driver sets the price. they gave us his name and number. Don't us this company.
