We have been taking our cars to C&J over the years and have always been impressed by their excellent, dependable and honest work. Gene is not only an extremely knowledgeable and skilled mechanic but is also willing to take the time to walk you through options and offer recommendations without any hard-sell tactics. As usual C & J Foreign Auto Repair did a excellent job on my 2011 Honda Civic LX. I had an issue where when I was driving my " D " light was blinking and on the dashboard it showed a " Check Engine Light ". I kind of figured out what it was that needs to be fixed. So when I dropped it off on Friday. I was waiting for the response of Gene the mechanic on what the problem was.

And sure enough he told me what I was thinking all along that needed to be repaired. I am truly blessed to have found an honest auto shop here in Tracy. Especially there pricing on the repairs. I will definitely go to this place as a returning customer on my routine maintenance on my 2011 Honda Civic LX. Like oil change. Thanks again C & J Foreign Auto Repair. If you are looking for an honest mechanic and need your car worked on - you need to go to C & J Foreign Auto Repair. My mom has been going to this shop for at least the last 12 years or so. She has always spoken highly of Gene and his establishment. I was looking for a second opinion and I was going to go there. Gene does not work on the make of car that I drive but he did spend a few minutes on the phone with me and offered some great advice. Sometimes trying to find a good honest mechanic can be hard to find.

Had a knock sensor repaired on my Toyota Tacoma was initially quoted one price once the work was completed And I arrived to pick up my vehicle I was told the amount owed was less than originally quoted. This is a HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY shop that has my full respect and recommendation!

They just worked on our 98 Tacoma for an 02 sensor and he gave a reasonable quote but he was able to get the work done under that which is great! I would highly highly recommend this shop if you have a foreign car! Thank you c & j!

Coming to this mechanic from now on. They were completely honest about what needed a fix even though I was willing to pay for a part replacement if needed but they told me I didn't have to get another part if the current part itself needed some adjustment and the problem was resolved! Very happy with the service!

We had to do a Major job on our 2005 Honda CR-V with 250,000. Timing belt, camshaft, timing sensors, valve, and head cylinder, the works. Even as I knew, what needed to be done and that this would be expensive, Gene walk us through the process and our options. He never tried to add services or parts to be replaced that were not needed, like the dealerships always try. He work diligently and we got the car back a lot sooner that forecasted. Definitely, will use C & J in the future for the CR-V and our Acura TL.

Took my car in, got a great quote, totally happy with what I was going to pay for the work I was getting done. But there was a bit of an issue, I asked for my door to be fixed and generally I fix my own car issues but this was particularly troublesome, there was a bit of confusion and the way they fixed it didn't address the original issue and it came back the next day, but they were super awesome and fixed it again and addressed the underlying issue for no extra cost besides the extra part. Jean was awesome and very helpful and professional without being extra. Totally would recommend anyone with a honda to go here, even if you have to drive 80miles like I did to get to them.

I didn't actually have any work done on my vehicle here, but I had been trying to find someone to work on my Land Rover and they were gracious enough to call another garage for me that they thought would work on my Land Rover. It ended up working out perfectly for me since the other shop they recommended was able to fit me in that day. Every other shop I had called before C&J just said no and hung up. Amazing customer service.

Got my major 100,000 miles service done here on my Acura MDX. They were priced way below dealer and did a great job in the promised amount of time. I will be bringing my Acura here from now on as they are Acura experts.

That dude Gene knows his S$((. This guy is straight to the point. No small talk just leave me your car it will get fixed. Can't be said about my mechanics. As long as I have my Honda this is the only place I will go.

In 2003, I took my wife's car to SpeeDee Oil change for a major tuneup. After they completed the job, I noticed a rattling noise from the engine area that was not there before. I talked to the manager who hesitant to acknowledge the problem. I searched the Yellow pages and came across C & J. I made an appointment and brought the car in. Gene inspected the car and told me SpeeDee messed something up.

He corrected it for a small fee. I went back to SpeeDee and showed them the documentation. The manager at SpeeDee refunded my money for the tuneup and for the service that C&J performed. C&J is the best Honda mechanic in town. The service is great and the price is reasonable. 5-Stars!

I own a Honda's and I absolutely love taking it here to C&J's. Their knowledgeable, quick and most of all, most times cheaper than Honda.

C & J have been taking care of my cars for almost 5 years. A 1998 Acura Integra, 2001 Honda CRV and now my 2003 Acura MDX. I wouldn't let another mechanic near my car! I never feel like I've just been hosed when I pick up my cars! Thanks for the years of great service!

About a month ago, I took my little Integra into C&J Foerign Auto Repair because it had a coolant hose leak in a location I could not reach, Aswell as a starting issue. They had the car for about 2 weeks, After the first week I would start to call daily because it is my only car. Finally when it's done. The price for a hose, oil change and a wire harness from the ignition switch was abnormally high due to labor on looking at the wrong part, changing a part that was still good (starter) and putting the old one back in.

As soon as i got the car on the road. I noticed my steering wheel is way off alignment. As i had no ride back home if i were to bring the car back in I would have no way to get home. I had no choice but to bite my tongue. I'm not sure if they would fix the problem they caused with the steering wheel had I returned the car because it's a aftermarket steering wheel. A week later, My car is again having difficulty starting like it did before i sent the car to this shop.

For once a pretty honest repair shop, I took my 96 honda prelude in due several issues (at least I thought at the time) I had radiator fluid explode under the hood, it was on HOT and the check engine light was on. I called in advance let them know I was coming, they close the shop @ 6:30 I beleive, but stayed around for me to drop it off next day we got a call that it was a very minor issue and they had fixed it for under $100. They did a great job and overall are honest mechanics, I would highly recommend them to anyone
