I just got vic to install a trailer hitch for my new bike. I've been doing business with Victor for almost thirty years and always received great customer service. He's a good honest business owner.

Known Victor and his team for over 20 years. His reliability and integrity speaks volumes. Vic has always been upfront and honest about price and the work done. My entire family goes to lions and I would certainly recommend them for all your automotive needs. They do it all, tires, oil, air conditioning with HONEST pricing. Victor Leon is a great mechanic and has a great staff as well! Have used his services for years now and not once have I been disappointed! Not only are his services excellent, but he is also a very generous and caring man who puts his clients first over everything! What he has done for his clients and the automotive industry is very appreciable! You won't be let down!

Simply do not patronize this business. The owner Victor Leon is a nasty hateful bigot who defaced and tore town Downtown Torrance's pride decorations. What kind of wicked wretch does that? Shame on him. If you want professional service from decent human beings, check out their immediate neighbor Walt's. Victor's bigoted views do not represent this community, and I hope that he doesn't show his face in Downtown Torrance ever again. This city will be a better place without Victor Leon.

All services I have had here have been repaired with no need to return to have something completed, retested or reset. Everything is explained so you can really understand the job being done. Office staff is professional, polite and helpful. Mechanics are friendly, professional and BUSY. Customer service is the highest. Diagnosis is always clear and information update in anticipation of any needed future service is communicated. Lion's is great for repairs (my AC replacement, taillight repair) as well as regular maintenance (oil change, etc.). They are always busy but their garage and wait area is small but CLEAN. They are worth the wait. Recommend!

Victor and his crew are always honest with me and tell me what needs fixing and what may need fixing in the future. I just had my car diagnosed for vibration issues while driving 50 miles an hour on highway or freeways, and they found the issue promptly. It was a worn axle, and also worn disc/rotors, and both were changed today! I am grateful for the knowledge, and the confidence to pinpoint what the issues could be, and they noticed that not just one, but also the other could be contributing, and after assessment, verified the problems.

This means a lot to me, as sometimes time is of the essence, and with a worn axle, Victor explained that it can snap, when worn, and that can be a real problem for anyone. Thank you Sisi, and Victor, and staff who worked on my car and for the detailed approach to a fix. I very much appreciate your servicing my car.

We were recommended by staff members at a fellow business that we frequent in Old town Torrance. And we live within walking distance which was a plus. We had a radiator and hoses replaced, and so far its been a good experience. We used to use the local dealership for most of our regular maintenance but due to a bad experience with maintenance we were looking for a new location to do our auto maintenance and repairs. They were very meticulous when they did their vehicle maintenance Check List, which depending on priority we use to upkeep our vehicles. So yes, we may see them again. -Lue

The service was excellent. They kept me constantly updated with everything going on with my vehicle. I had some concerns and the owner Victor cleared up for me and explained in detailed. Although I've known Vic since we both worked at Dixon Cadillac in the late '80s, he as a Service Tech, and I as the Body Shop Mgr., and have reconnected and used his Business for a variety of repairs on my 1995 Pontiac Firebird these last 5 or so years, there have been numerous times when I had to return, to correct paid for repairs. This last time, and it will be my Last Time, I needed to return my car again, costing me a 2nd 3 day rental, to have overlooked items that could have been addressed last week when it was in his shop. Draw your own conclusions.

They provide honest and important information about your vehicle's issues, and always exceed expectations once the job is finished. 2 Year Later. 3,000 miles. The Catalytic Converter Victor had installed on my 1988 MR2 is now bad. Had to pay 80 dollars to fail the smog check. The thing should have a 5 year 50,000 mile warranty, but I'd rather spend $50,000 then let Victor even look at my car again. I thought all the damage Victor had done was resolved, but 2 years later and this guy is still costing me additional money. I thought mechanics solved problems, not created more. Victor, never forget. You're a disgrace.

I've been going to Lions Automotive for years. They are honest and always reliable. The only downfall is that they get really busy. Probably because they do such great work. I don't trust my cars with anyone else. They even text you with updates and pictures of the status of your car.

They'll send you informative updates about the status of the work you're having done and provide a complimentary inspection on your vehicle, letting you know any safety issues. Yes, yes, yes. Take your cars here. I've been servicing here for years, although I don't have to come in often because they do such a great job the first time. Victor has a great staff, and we've become close over the years. Super thankful to have an extremely honest auto mechanic.

They are a good service with a friendly front staff they will Uber you home and add it to the bill but that's fine. The pricing is heavy, but I'm sure your paying for a good service there are cheaper and better options around but if you need a fix and your normal mechanic can't service you right away and still want quality service then Lions may be a option.

Even though they could not help me, the employees were so kind as to point me in the right direction.

I'm very happy getting my truck serviced at this place. Victor and his team are quick and professional. I have to brag about their Work Flow updates! I didn't have to call the shop to check the status on my truck. They updated me every half hour. I've always done basic maintenance on my previous cars and on my truck now. I suggest doing your homework and learn more about your car/truck. It's hard to find a shop and a team you can trust. Thanks to Victor and his team for an awesome service!

I really feel confident bringing my car here. First, the shop was recommended to me, and after reviewing some of the write-ups, I agree with the positive input. In the 3 times I've come into the shop, I've gained the trust of the shop to the point that I don't even want to bring it to the dealer. I felt that Victor and staff were helpful and honest.

I would recommend Lion's Automotive to anyone looking for an auto repair shop. I received a recommendation to come to Lion's Automotive through a friend of mine and now I would "hands down" recommend them to anyone looking for an auto repair shop. I brought my 2015 Ford Explorer here to get new brakes and through the process I ended up changing the front rotors, cabin filter and getting an oil change.

The program which they use to keep you informed of the process is very professional. From the moment I dropped the car off to the moment I picked it up I was constantly kept in the loop by text messages, e-mails and reports which showed me their findings and recommendations. Pictures were included with the reports which help determine what needed to be fixed. I truly appreciate the professionalism and courtesy Victor and his staff gave me and my family.

I have always had so much anxiety about getting any work done on my car. I have been overcharged so many times that I am always wary of auto shops. However, Lions automotive was definitely an exception to the rule. From the moment I called I felt valued as a customer. Victor was so kind and helpful. About a year back, I was in search of an auto shop after a bad experience with the place I used to take my car to in Torrance. I've brought my car to Lions a few times now for just standard maintenance and inspection and I've been very satisfied with their service so far. What I love most about this place is how they communicate to their customers.

Once they've inspected your car, they send you this electronic report to your email with the results of their inspection with pictures of any issues they encounter. This is great because like most people, I have very little knowledge of this stuff and most times I'm usually blindly trusting the mechanic that something is actually wrong with my car.

But to see this report where I can actually see the problem and have them explain it to me is very reassuring. I usually speak with Sal when I call in and that guy is great at what he does. He's knowledgeable, automatically applies my AAA discount, and has asked me on both occasions if I needed a shuttle ride after dropping off my car. If you're looking for a reliable place with great prices compared to other non-dealership auto shops in the area, you should definitely give this place a call.

Called on a Tuesday morning as I needed an oil change after a long road trip I took. Sal answered the phone and was able to squeeze me in the same day. Awesome! I came in at my scheduled appointment time and Sal also helped me at the counter upon checkin. I like that the parking lot and grounds are clean, the lobby is smaller yet also very clean with coffee (keurig) and comfortable as I stayed and waited.

They stock Quaker State full synthetic for my truck. Oil change was done within 35-40 minutes, I was told all fluids were topped off, and good to go. Based on this first experience, I wouldn't hesitate to come back. My wife's Lexus is due soon and after the bad experience we had at South Bay Lexus, will probably start taking it to Lions. Think I may have found my new shop.

I needed to do 30,000 miles maintenance on my Infiniti G37. Dealership was asking me to pay $650 with discount. What dealership offers is of course premium service, meaning complimentary loaner cars and peace of mind. I say peace of mind and that comes with a little doubt of course. Personally, I just felt that peace of mind knowing that an authorized dealership would be taking care of my car.

I would assume they have experienced infiniti mechanics and parts. Still. $650? So. I found Lions Automotives and saw great reviews. I decided to give it a try. Initial quote with inspection, coolant replacement, engine oil and filter, tire rotations. came out to be $250. After inspection, they had to replace cabin air filters and rear brake pads.

Total came out to be $450 total. This saved me $200! They also offer Uber ride home and back if you are coming in on weekends by appointments. On weekdays, they have shuttle services. I would have to see if my car continues to run smoothly without problems, but I am happy with their services. At least call in for a quote and compare with yoyr dealership offers if you are looking for major maintenance services.

I admit, the 5-star overall review on Yelp is what brought me to Lions Automotive. It also helped that it's literally steps away from my office! After a while of hearing my brakes squeal I brought my car into Lions. Within an hour or so they called me with news that I needed the front + back brakes replaced, along with some fluid that was dirty and needed changing.

I also got a very detailed estimate emailed to me too -- that's a pro move right there. Got the car back and the end of the day, and it's running great. Very impressed with Sal and the team over at Lions Automotive. I will definitely be coming back.
