Imperial Tire Plus

I have been a long time customer of Imperial Tire Pro's for over 17 years back from when it was Imperial Tire Plus. Art, has always taken care of my car needs and even going as far as to say, it's time for a new car it's no longer worth fixing. He is honest and reliable, and always goes above and beyond for his customers. I no longer live in Whittier but I will always make the drive to Art when I need my car serviced because I know he will do the job right and he stands behind it. Art will explain throughly what the problem is and how to fix it. His prices are always fair.

I went there on Dec 29th for a last minute tire issue on my trailer that has been loosing air and 2 different tire stores could not find a problem. They said it was the rim so I even bought a rim and still the problem. Art could of sold me a tire because that's what I called him for. He said let me take a look I am pretty good at finding leaks!

And guess what instead of charging me for a tire which is what I went there for he found a pin hole and in it and patched it on the inside and guess what hasn't lost any air and just got back from a 300 mile road trip. Great guy and a great shop and very pleasant to talk to and even hearing him on the phone with other people this guy and the other employees are very professional! You won't regret going there for work!

My Chevy Volt got a flat tire today and I was so impressed by the integrity and service of one of the associates named Junior. It's always a challenge for someone like myself (who has limited knowledge on cars and tires) to find a place that's truly HONEST, but Junior was extremely patient and skilled in explaining all the details and answers to all my questions.

I would 10 out of 10 recommend this trustworthy place to my family and friends, and of course, our Yelp community. It's easy to go to whichever big/corporate business that first pops up on your yelp to fulfill your car needs, but I'm more of a pro-"support local businesses and your mom & pops shops whenever possible" kinda person :) couldn't be happier to.

I had very satisfied experience! I went there to get an oil change. Art educated me on how to check my oil monthly and on the proper way to get an oil change, based on the mileage driven not based on the oil percentage that's displayed on my vehicle. I'm so happy that I had this experience. You have restored my faith in honest mechanics.

Art is the owner of this tire shop, but it's much more than just tires. He runs a great mechanic shop here and has come to my rescue a number of times. Sometimes, the advice he offered, saved me money and time, but meant he lost work because the work wasn't necessary. He's honest and he'll even give you his cell number so you can call him directly. Everyone needs a good honest mechanic, and you can find one here.

I wish I can give 10 stars. After stopping at a couple of "name brand" stores where I was not acknowledged or received the run around, I ended up coming here. First off, as soon as I walked in Joe was helpful and actually listened to me. I explained that I had a nail in my tire and I also needed two of my tires looked at as they were looking pretty bad.

He didn't hesitate and we walked outside to look at the tires and he explained every thing to me. I did end up getting three new tires (the tire with the nail had a few patches already!) and the price that I was given I felt comfortable with. This will be my go to place from now on and I will recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you to Joe and the guy(s) that worked on my car!

Great service and just earned a loyal customer. Got a quote on tires for my wife's Cadillac. 2 weeks later the tire wasn't available but they honored my price for a little bit better of a tire! Fast service and a pleasure doing business!

I have been coming to this shop since they first opened in 2005 and in that time I've gotten to know Art as a respectable/honest owner. He never tries to push any service or product that isn't required while also trying to give you the best deal possible. I had a tire blowout while driving yesterday and gave Imperial Tire Pros a call 10 minutes prior to closing.

I told Art the situation and he gladly told me to come by and he would take care of it. The mechanic informed Art that the object that pierced through the tire compromised the wire within. They showed me and explained that they could patch it but there was a chance it would fail due to the exposed wire. He offered me a semi used tire if I wanted to be 100% confident, which I accepted without hesitation.

I traded my tire for another one in better condition and he only charged me for the labor. I could not have asked for a better outcome. If you have any problems with your car, I would highly recommend you take it here. He'll treat you as if you were his friend.

Art and his team were great! He went above and beyond to help me out. He was super busy but he still took the time to help me out. I had a nail in my tire. Art and his team were able to patch it up quickly and get me on the road again. His prices are great and he was just honest the entire time. Just moved here from Ohio and if you have ever lived anywhere other than California you know that everything here seems to be way more expensive than other states. I found their pricing to be on point with what I would expect to pay back home. Art and his team are very professional and courteous and finished my 4 tire replacement job under the time quoted.

I even discussed my regular maintenance with Art because again their pricing is great and Art made me feel no pressure and was honest throughout my time there. Family owned and operated is something I can get behind as well.

I bought 4 tires for my BMW along with tire rotation and alignment. Overall the best bags for my bucks! I shopped around and ask prices in the surrounding neighborhood. I highly recommend Imperial Tire. These guys are fast and fixed my tire easily. And Joe, I think he's the manager or owner, was super honest and told me I didn't need a new tire and just needed a patch, and he saved me $100 for a twenty dollar patch. Thank you

This is the third time I've used this shop and they have been consistent in providing excellent and honest service. I got my BMW alignment and tires rotated for a fraction of what other places charged. My car drives like new. Arturo is pleasant, helpful and perhaps most importantly a gentleman.

I was in town, got a nail in my front tire, charged me $20 to remove it, everywhere else i went to charges on $10-$11 to remove 1 nail. Bit over priced for a 10 minute job, which actually took them 40 minutes to do. Tech was pushing me to buy new tires when I just bought my tires 8 months ago. Say i have never had a tire rotation but i know i did 4 months ago because the tire pressure was telling me my back tire was low but it was actually the front tire, so i know they've been rotated. However the tech and front desk person were very professional in all other aspects. I wont be coming back for any future nail removals.
