Greg and Dave handled a transmission swap/upgrade and a performance motor build/install for my 1956 Ford F100. Not only did they do a terrific job with quality craftsmanship, they took the time to engineer the correct supporting accessories to make the truck perform at its best. They took care of my vehicle and do business with trust and integrity. Highly recommended.

I'm not one to write positive reviews. I, like most, tend to write and look for negative reviews as a guide, but in this case I feel compelled by Dave and ESP's refreshing professionalism and honesty. First I want to start out by stating that Dave spoke to me on the phone for about solid 10 to 15 minutes (twice) about issues I was having with my vintage K15 with a freshly installed EFI Sniper by another outfit.
From the outset I could tell Dave cared more about finding a solution through discussion rather than just telling me to come in and spend money. It was refreshing because most shops simply don't care to have those discussions because they're "too busy", and I get that, so it was exceptional to have ESP, a busy shop, take the time to troubleshoot. Which brings me to another point, when I scheduled an appointment to bring my truck in for tuning and other miscellaneous work, including a leak on a brand new 350 crate engine, Dave told me that it would probably be early 2021 until they could realistically go through everything, but after further discussion, he offered to have me bring in the truck to see about treating the leak at least.
I brought the truck in, had a great discussion about his strategy for tackling the leak and for the EFI tune, and then he told me he'd get back to me in a couple days. I saw that they had several cars in the shop so I expected to get a call in a week despite his two-day turn around. This was on a Monday. By Wednesday, exactly two days later, Dave called and told me that they had fixed the leak and tuned the sniper.
He also mentioned a sticky pedal that I grown accustomed to, but was never thrilled about. I asked for an estimate and he said it would be a relatively easy fix.indeed two days after that, per Dave's promise, the truck was ready. I drove it it off and WOW, it was a completely different driving experience with a finely tuned sniper and fully functional pedal.
I got home, put some cardboard under the truck and guess what, No Leaks! Dave and ESP took care of a leaky engine, finicky Sniper, and a voltage drop problem, and a sticky pedal assembly my vintage 78 K15 was having. His estimates were dead one (which is extremely important to me) and then he also took the time to really explain the EFI system and how to best drive with it.
When I got the invoice, it wasn't just a simple excel sheet of parts and labor, it was all very well broken down and explained in detail. Like I said, refreshing professionalism. I'll be highly recommending to family and friends.

Rented the dyno for 1/2 the day. VERY nice people. Extremely careful with my car. Knowledgeable and through. I did read the 1 star review and showed it to my shop. They laughed as they would have charged about $500 more. Pffft. Can't please ALL the people. Some people there is NO pleasing. Disregard the one bad review. Dave is top notch. I absolutely would take my car or diesel truck there for work if needed, but is 1.5 hrs away.

I would never bring a vehicle there again they charged me over $2,500 to install heads, cam, a fuel pump, an oil pump and tune my Trailblazer SS. It took them 2 weeks longer than they said it would and they never got around to the fuel pump or the tune (for the tune they said I had to come back in 3 more weeks and pay them more money) they broke the dipstick and tried to charge me to replace it and they screwed up the rocker installation so badly they had to be replaced for which they blamed me for not changing the oil soon enough, (the guys at Trick Flow laughed about that and just sent me a new set of rockers) but ESP wouldn't warranty the work to replace them, so I had pay to have it towed to SMG Motoring (where I also got it tuned) to get them replaced. I ended up paying them a lot of money only to have to pay another shop to finish and fix their work, don't get taken like I did.

After a personal referral to ESP from a fellow G8er in Massachusetts, and all the positive reviews I read, I hired ESP to wrench my G8 this Spring. Dave was very flexible with scheduling considering my car project was originally going to be a week or so and it turned into 11 weeks due to ordering a new LS3 and other parts that weren't readily available.
They kept my car on site despite the fact they don't have a lot of space and took very good care of it. ESP also allowed me to provide them all the parts, which I was grateful for since it saved me a lot of money and there were specific parts I wanted to use in the new engine. Dave also had great recommendations for parts based on his experience wrenching other customer's cars with LS engines in them. I'm very particular about who works on my car and am very glad I found ESP. I look forward to their partnership in supporting my G8 in the future.

I recently went to ESP to have a stage 2 kit, and intake put into my WRX, and couldn't be more pleased with the work, the attention to detail, and customer service that I received. Being new to the MOD scene, I had spoken with probably 4 or 5 other places prior to calling, and ultimately making an appointment with Dave at ESP. Every other shop I spoke with seemed uninterested in my eagerness to have the job done, tried to tell me false information to get me to spend more on the install, and didn't seem trustworthy to give them my business.
I then found the number to Bren Tuning, gave him a call not knowing he was a specialized tuner only, and asked about getting the work done. He directed me to Dave at ESP, said he was an expert with Subaru's and very reasobable price wise.so I gave Dave a call. Once we started talking, he seemed as enthusiastic and eager to get the install done as I was. Showed genuine concern and interest in everything that needed to be done for my car.
The day of install, he, and his co-workers kept me in the loop the during the entire process. Once completed, they stayed late on a Friday to get me on the Dyno to ensure everything was going to run properly.and.does it ever! My car is awesome now, and I have no intentions in going anywhere else for future installs & maintenance. Great people, great shop, great pricing, great end results, what more can you ask for? Thanks ESP
