They did insurance repairs after an accident, now my car drives worse than ever. It shakes above 50mph violently, it pulls to the left. I called to complain and only then did they tell me about additional problems from the alignment center that weren't there before the accident and on the complete opposite side of the car that the accident was on.
I'm also convinced they drained my battery while working on the car, the morning after I got the car back it wouldn't start and needed a battery replacement. Never had battery issues before they got the car either. Do you think they fixed any of these issues? Not a single one. Had to spend an additional $200 on the battery and the car still shakes like crazy. I don't recommend them to anyone honestly.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality Tom & Ed's Merrillville missed my estimated completion twice, costing me extra money for rental. They lack experience in BMWs which led to these oopsies. The tech left oily fingerprints on my oyster interior and stole my aviator sunglasses. Services: Body & Trim, Painting

Had a flat tire, stopped at a gas station to put air in and air compressor was broke.nice young man (with wife) works with Tom and Ed's were nice enough to take time out of their busy day and put the spare tire on. Very nice professional and kind couple. We need more caring people like these two in this world. Special thanks to the couple and if I am ever again in need, I will call Tom and Ed's! Ever so grateful.

Awesome & Wonderful Customer Service. Very Professional and with Great repair work in detail. I am very well pleased with the Repair work done to my vehicle. I can and will recommend and refer Tom & Eds Autobody to all of my Friends, Family and anyone that I may know. Especially, anyone that needs any type of autobody repair work & service. They even gave my vehicle a courtesy wash, with a smile and a Thank You when I did my Pick-up!.

Meant to write this review a few weeks ago, but time got away from me. Tom and Ed's were great. Great customer service that went above and beyond to help me get an issue situated that involved getting the dealership/insurance involved. That act alone will have me returning if I ever need to and recommending others that do.

Tom and Ed's has great customer service. No appointments needed for estimates. One of their employees will walk you through the estimate. Scheduling to get your vehicle in had a time frame less than a week. Constant updates were sent by text as work was being completed. They work with the insurance company to get the money. The repair job was perfect.
They even provide you with a flash drive with pictures of the repair and the lifetime non transferable warranty. These are pros that know how to repair body damage and provide great customer service!

A couple days ago my mom's jeep was rear ended and put a hug dent in the bumper and made the left tail light cracked as well. It took them a couple of days to fix the issues which was fine since we had another vehicle to use for the time being. My mom and I are very pleased with the results of the repair on her jeep. The bumper looks like it had never been hit, which is how it's supposed to look.
The staff was really nice and was able to answer any questions we had about the repair. We will definitely come back to Tom and Ed's if we need any body work done. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs body work.

My husband took his brand new 2019 truck back to the dealership to have some work done (planned at the time of purchase). Tom and Ed's is in their back yard and the truck was sent there for body work. We are unsure exactly what all was done by them. But I can tell you the paint work was horrible! There was a rock chip on the hood of the black truck.
When the truck came back, it looked like a drunk 5 year old had touched it up while blindfolded! The sunroof had to be replaced and paint work needed to be done on the roof. It looked there was dirt under the paint. It was not smooth or neat. The truck had been in their shop for 4 weeks! I could have done better with nail polish. The truck had to go back to the dealership service center (for their shady work) and they sent it back to Tom and Ed's.
They decided they had to repaint the entire hood. It's been 6 business days.no truck. Their workmanship is shoddy. Their response time is crap. They have no concept of customer service. And of course.what can we really do about it?

We took our Brand New Chevy Equinox for a dent in the passenger side door, not only did they get the dent out with perfection, they also did a superfast but perfect job at a great price. All there treated us like we were family. We felt comfortable as soon as we walked into the door. If I could give more stars I would be happy to.
