After watching a documentary on YouTube about how oil change places will take you for a ride and rip you off, I was very wary of the entire industry. When I went in with my father-in-law to get our oil changed today, I was pretty surprised at the level of professionalism, courtesy, and transparency associated with the process. The prices are published on the board in open view for everyone to see.
They ask you exactly what you want and what level of service, which I had no idea, but my father-in-law knew what we wanted. And he asked for it, and we were charged for exactly what we thought we would be charged for. Reading some of the reviews below, I think the only other thing that could help with the price transparency is if they tell you exactly how much it's going to be before they do anything.
But I don't know if that's fair to ask any business to do. Much thanks to Mark and Dylan for their professionalism and courtesy throughout the process. Mark went out of his way to clean our windshields too. They were friendly and prompt and knowledgeable. Will note that we went across the street first, another store with the same name and the same owner, and came here after there was a 20 minute wait at the other location. We lucked out with an open bay, and were serviced immediately. Will be back!

Been coming here for about 35 years now. Great timely service! I always get the best synthetic oil now so my engine will last longer. The people will warn you if there is anything else amiss. Very pleasant staff. They put in a brand new battery for me today. Thank you. Prices are reasonable for the high quality service and high quality oil, etc. they have.

Was in-and-out 15 minutes but they struck out on customer service. This was 1st oil change for my new used car. Technician never came to advise me of what he found on his inspections of my car and mileage was entered incorrectly into their computer as 12,419(actual 129,419). Poor customer service and lack of attention to detail will not earn my repeat business. Not recommended.

That were so kind to me- I was like 8 months pregnant and couldn't figure out how to change the front headlight on my car. I begrudgingly took it here (I like doing the simple stuff like this on my own!), and they changed it out for free (I provided the light). With a promise I'd bring my car back for the next oil change (for. sure.). Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Thanks, guys!

I've been taking my family's three cars to both Westmont locations since I moved to the area in 1993. That's 26 years. In the past I thought their service was great and their prices were while a little more were fair. Sadly, I no longer have that opinion. We use Mobil One exclusively in our cars and have done so for over 30 years. I expect to pay a premium but nothing like what I was charged earlier this month. Shame on me for not asking what it was going to cost but I never expected the bill to be so high.
The total was $119 and that was after a $7 Internet coupon. The premium full synthetic oil change itself was $86, then another $10 for a special filter, then a $24 up charge for mobile one. They don't participate in Mobil One's rebate program so there is no savings to be had there. They've priced themselves so high that it's less expensive to go to the dealer and get oil changes done there.

I AM the most ANAL RETENTIVE person in the WORLD when it comes to my fleet of classic cars. I hate taking my cars in anywhere to get anything done. I like doing things myself, or used to. I work a lot of hours. I have very limited free time. My Dad used to have these folks change his oil all the time. They've always done a good job. My 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood limousine needed some fluids changed.
I bit the bullet and brought it here. They're very awesome here! Courteous, helpful, honest, professional, personable, conscientious, and, just downright great people to deal with! They will NOT rip you off like so many other quick lube shops. The employees know their stuff here. I've been working on cars since 1997 on the side. It's very common for me to get into long discussions regarding various cars and trucks with them.
I send my Mother here for service, too. They treat her like gold! My classic fleet consists of a. 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood limo, 1983 Lincoln Continental Mark VI, 1979 Chrysler New Yorker, and, my daily driver 2015 Fiat 500L. For me to trust ANYBODY, it takes alot! I trust them wholeheartedly! They do phenomenal work! You can trust this shop!

I have been to several oil change places over the years and most of us know what stereotypes are circulating out there about them. Well rest assured this one and it's employees are not the type to be included in this negative tactics that other big chain oil scam I mean oil change places that give the industry. If you go in you are properly greeted and treated with respect and honesty.
You are kept informed and not forced or tricked into unwanted services. I have a 20 year old Buick and a 2017 gmc suv. Needless to say the old Buick has issues. So many I could do every service they have on it. But instead of pushing the services all at once they wrote down recommendation. And took good care of me on both vehicles very well informed and very down to earth group.
The owner is very aware and very caring of his customers and his stores. There is another across the street so no waiting;. I have a Google guide ranking because of my direct knowledge of the businesses I frequent. I don't lie or put sugar coating on things I don't know about. Make no mistake this place is going to be your go-to for your vehicle maintenance needs.you will end up sending family and friends here once you go abandoned don't hesitate to speak with the shop leaders they will take care of your needs and get you what you want and expect.

Had to leave a review for the great service we received here. They really went above and beyond for what I thought was a simple oil change. He also discovered I had a bad intake valve which was not found by any of the recent places I took it into. You can tell they honestly care and spend the time to check out your vehicle. You aren't just a line in the pocket books to them. Will be back!

My review still stands. First off, I stayed in my car during the oil change so I was never in the lobby to see the pricing board. Secondly, part of customer service is having a staff that not only can do the job well and expeditiously but also communicates well with the customer. I run my own business so I know this from experience. What's wrong with training the staff to make sure the customer understands what's about to be done to their car and about the up charges before the work starts? As a first time customer that little bit of education, that would have taken about 60-90 seconds to communicate, would have avoided my less than happy review.

I work at The Duke of Oil and with all honesty it's one of the best places to change oil. also one of the most trusted place because when I was training the manager would double check the work we do and we could never miss anything when we double check the work. Also great crew! Rich the store manager always likes to teach us everything about the job.

They probably need a manager here on a Sunday. As I am sitting in the lobby two employees start arguing with each other with one yelling just go home them and another shouting you are not my boss. To be honest I am surprised as I have been here a few times with no issue. Not sure what happened today but they clearly need a manager on site

I've been getting my oil changed here since my kids were toddlers and we'd go to McDonalds playland next door while they worked on my car. Everyone is always so nice and there's no pressure to get other services. Twice now they've helped me to find and patch a leak on my tire with Autofix behind them, and they offer free tire rotation too.

Rick and his team is great. They are always very informative and take the time to explain services. I had a brake light out and they took the time to trouble shoot and we figured out its a electrical issues. They are quick and always want to make sure you are happy. I always go here to get my oil change.

As I'm sitting here, an employee from what I assume was from accross the street came in. I guess a customer made him upset and proceeded to bash the customer to the manager in store. He used foul language, I mean so do I but never in front of paying customers. This place is pretty quick with their oil changes, no complaints there. I think maybe the service guys should maybe watch what they say in front of customers.

I've taken our cars here several times and for the most part, the service has been fast and the guys working there are always pleasant. However, the last three times I've had issues with their recommendations not being available (we'll replace your cabin filter, oh wait, we don't have it in stock, you'll need to wait 35 minutes for us to go to Pep Boys to buy one) and with coupons.
I've twice now tried to change my cabin filter and both times "it's out of stock but if I can wait, they will change it for me". And three separate occasions, I've tried to use a coupon and I can't with the particular service or I have to buy a filter (which they don't have in stock, SMH). And of course, they are starting to get like Jiffy Lube with all the recommendations and upsells.
