Established by Wayne and Judy Govert in 1983, we have since grown our business from a 2,500 square foot shop to a full service auto body and mechanical facility with over 40,000 square feet of usable space. From major collision repairs to minor dents & dings, our auto body & paint staff is highly trained & skilled to restore your vehicle to its original condition. Utilizing the latest technology & PPG Envirobase refinishing systems, our paint technicians can provide you with the same quality baked finish as the factory. All of our auto body & paint work is backed by a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own your vehicle.
Whether it's a simple oil change or a more complex diagnosis & repair, there is only one standard of service at Govert. All of our mechanics are ASE Certified & follow the same standards of workmanship as our body shop. We are a full service mechanical shop that offers quick service & quality repairs.
May I select the shop that repairs my car or must I go where my insurance company directs me?. In the state of Indiana you have the right to have the shop of your choice repair your vehicle. Some insurance companies will "recommend" that you take it to one of their preferred shops. Govert is a preferred shop for many insurers, but ultimately the choice is up to you.

I was caught amongst gunfire and by back side panel had 3 bullet holes plus they shot out my back window. A harrowing experience! A friend recommended a Subaru Certified Collision Center. I looked and found Govert. They did an absolutely incredible job and now my car looks like new! They even finished earlier then I was told, which made me very happy. And I arrived to pick up the car and it was beautifully cleaned inside and out. I was most appreciative of that extra effort. Highly recommend!

We chose Goverts to fix my daughters car after an accident, they did excellent work! The car looks great. It took time for them to find parts to her car because they do not make that model anymore, but they did everything to make sure they found them. I also like that you can go to their website til check on the progress of you vehicle. My husband previously had work done on his Acura when he was rear ended a few years ago, so we knew what to expect from them. We would choose them again, but hopefully we won't have to

Had my Corvette in to have some road rash repainted on the front bumper cover and to have a mirror painted that was scratched by someone in a parking lot. They are as good as it gets, quality workmanship and professionalism in every aspect of their work. Highly recommend, their shop is the cleanest auto body repair facility I've ever seen. You can't go wrong using Govert's.

I cannot begin to say how great this place is. I had just brought a new 2017 car, three weeks later got in a front end collision. very upset went straight to dealer who recommended GOVERTS. went straight over there. Matt and Janet went up and above what was needed to do. Matt gave me a brief estimate just so I can see how much I was looking at, gave me a loaner car with out charging me. Went back the next day and Matt took me and my husband back in the shop and showed exactly what was damaged and the parts that needed to be replaced. made me feel so at ease. Matt even went online to investigate a computer problem that occurred due to the accident.again something that put me at ease.the car was ready before the initial date which was great. Wasn't sure where the insurance check was getting mailed to, Matt let my husband pick up the car with just the deductible being paid til we figured out who received the check. This place is Honest, willing to work with the customer, clean place, will definitely be my go to place, but hope I don't need it. 10 stars

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND -went to get an estimate from Matt to have my some scuffs buffed out and touch up some paint chips. I also asked how much was it to wax the car. Got a quote for $75.00. That sounded great. When I went to pick up my car when it was finished, I noticed that they had waxed over the bug marks on my car. I still found chip marks, that he didn't buff out like he said he would. I showed Matt and he said, " yup. What do you expect for $75.00." THEN QUOTE THE RIGHT PRICE TO DO THE JOB RIGHT! I had to clean and wax it myself.
