Very good service and fair prices. We have always been pleased with their work and work ethic. They could have done work on our power steering as we questioned some noise issues and they said not to worry about it as it was functioning properly. That saved us several hundred dollars and, like they said, it has functioned properly for the past 3 years since we had them check it out. Much better than Desmond's. Highly recommend Evans Automotive.

Horrible customer service. Refused to help a family who's in Italy for the week after an unfortunate misunderstanding about a registered vehicle. Requested the customer to provide up to date registration and insurance cards which were in the vehicle then denied the customer access to the vehicle to get the paperwork. Money scam it's common these days everyone wants to take as much money as possible from you even when they are wrong about something. It makes me sick

Just moved to Colchester and needed to find a mechanic asap. I looked on the web for best repair shop reviews and decided to take a ride to Evans. Right from the start, I had a good feeling about them. Prior to dropping off the truck I did a quick inspection to figure out what needed to be done. The estimate was fair, they didn't try to up-sell me on things I didn't need, and the price was fair.
I dealt with Glenn and Joe and both were extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need and they are now my go-to repair shop. Their work was excellent.
