Paul's Auto is the honest repair shop you've been looking for. I brought my truck there after it died on me. Scott was a big help explaining their findings on the phone and offered multiple options. No surprises with these guys. Highly recommend dealing with Scott and Paul. Thanks guys! Service: Engine repair

I had a check engine light on and the car was running hard. I called up Paul's auto service and I was able to bring my car in the next day. Scott called me periodically throughout the day to let me know what was going on and ask me what I would like done. My car was fixed same day, and when I went to pick the car up Scott to the time to answer my questions and explain things. Paul's auto service was a great experience and a comfort and my car is running great, I will be back with any future auto needs! Thanks you so much Paul's auto service for giving me peace of mind with my car.

I am always nervous to try a new mechanic, let alone out-of-town, but on a trip in CT I found myself in need of motor assistance. Paul's Auto gave me very fair pricing, completed the work quickly, and did a good job at it. They were straightforward and professional. I also really enjoyed the office counter, which was a large turtle tank! They are good folks and I'm glad to recommend them.

Paul's Auto has been my go-to since the first time I wound up at their shop. They're honest, hard-working people who have never tried to push anything I didn't need (even those times the internet had convinced me I did and they could have easily gotten free money out of me). I whole-heartedly recommend them to all my friends and family and none of them have ever been let down!

I went here in 2006 because my 1996 Toyota Camry window regulator needed to be replaced. After waiting all day they finally called me at 3:40p and said window regulator needed replaced but that they "don't have Toyota parts in stock?" They charged me $380 for an aftermarket not OEM window regulator and adjusted it crookedly and then after one month the left driver window quit working again!
I went back and they said well that it was three months later so that the best they could do was replace again as there was no warranty on After market parts!? Don't go here for repairs- they rip women off.

My engine light had been on for a while and this garage is right down the street from where I live so I thought I'd give them a try. I looked on-line for reviews before bringing my car there, but only found one saying they were reasonably priced so I called and made an appointment to drop my car off to have it checked for the engine light. Later in the day they called me to let me know what the issue was and that it would cost $550 to fix the faulty knock sensor.
That seemed pricey I reached out to an acquaintance that works at a car dealership. He gave me a quote of $350 for the same work (this included the parts, labor, diagnostics test and taxes). When I went to pick up my car at Paul's, I told them how I was quoted $350 from a dealership and asked if he could come down on his price of $550. Without hesitation he said no, that he couldn't.
So my advice is to do your research before bringing your car here. I ended up paying $125 for the diagnostics test. Update: I ended up taking my car to a different mechanic in town. He fixed my faulty knock sensor for $275! That's half of what Paul's Auto Service was going to charge me. The mechanic I brought it to also said that being charged $125 for a diagnostics test was a rip off. He said I could've went to Napa or Autozone and got it done for free.
