Jason is the most honest mechanic we have found here. He has serviced all our family cars since past 10 years. Never charged more than necessary.

My husband saw I had a nail in my tire, so I brought my vehicle here to have it patched. They claim to have looked at my tire and said there's no nail. When I got it home my husband looked again and sure enough there's a dang nail in my tire. Now I'm on the side of the road with a flat thanks to these people. Worthless.

Great place for maintenance and work on your car. They have been honest and straightforward and have even told me not to spend money on extra services I thought I needed but I really didn't need it. I think that is great, especially with all the inflationary costs we are getting now. Honest people and honest work is great. Just keep in mind they get busy, so make an appt or come early in the morning. If you are waiting there, they do have a waiting room with free wifi and a refreshment bar with hot coffee, water, or soda.

Heard about Greatwood Auto on the NextDoor app. Took our vehicle here for an oil and air filter change, and to rotate the tires. The lobby and bathroom were extremely clean, and the front counter staff, including Mike, were friendly and welcoming. There's also a nice coffee bar as well as plenty of bottled water to drink while you wait. I sat and waited, and even though there were two people ahead of me, they were finished in about an hour and a half.

One of the things that impressed me is they didn't try and upsell me, or tell me I needed any unnecessary repairs. The cost was very reasonable for what we asked for as well. And, too, when I got in my vehicle, there was nothing out of place, and they didn't leave dirty footprints, etc., behind on the floorboards. Thankful to have found this place.

We have another auto repair shop that we take our vehicles to whenever we need things done, but we'll definitely consider bringing our vehicles here as well because of its convenience and our first experience with them!

Great service from the mechanic, Mike service advisor, and Jason the manager. They completed the entire service on my vehicle during a Saturday and had my vehicle repaired before closing. Highly recommend, top notch shop. Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

How do you take your car to a repair shop and get it back worse than it was? I took my daughter's car here and Mike ruined it. And he is not taking responsibility, simply passing the buck. I come from a family of mechanics; maybe he didn't realize he wasn't talking to some clueless person. Auto Repair 101: change the oil filter when putting in replacing the oil.

That did not happen in this case and the car is now worthless. It was leaking oil out of the valve cover and the oil pan. I spent $1800 to have them fix the leaks, only to leave and have the oil light come on. And then the car started knocking. Had AAA tow the car back and they said the oil filter was clogged. Being that they replaced the oil pan and the gasket you would think when they added new oil they would've put a new filter.

But they didn't and that caused the lower part of the engine to start knocking because the oil filter was clogged. They actually tried to tell me that it was a bad catalytic converter and were going to charge me an additional $750 to have THAT replaced. So now I have a car that's a piece of junk. And I'm out $1800. The car ran perfectly, idled perfectly and sounded perfect: no knocking before we took it to them.

They just replaced the gaskets, the oil pan and put new oil. Mind you, they should've replaced the oil filter when they put new oil in and this WOULD NOT have happened. But he actually said this, "you just didn't hear the knocking before." LOL let me tell you what I'm looking for in a knock, Mike. Anyways, good luck if you take your car here. Kudos to the people that left good reviews.

I'm genuinely happy for you. I have a GPS tracker on my daughter's car. After they "fixed" the oil leak, they only drove it half a mile right around the block. If it had been driven on a proper test drive, the oil light would have come on and they would've known they should have changed the oil filter.

I have used them in the past and the price is high for what you get, but that isn't what this review is about. This review is about the recent experience my friend's daughter had taking her car there. The vehicle was leaking oil out of the valve cover and the oil pan so it was taken here. Roughly 1800 dollars later the car is returned and within 24 hours the engine is knocking.

After having it towed back to Greatwood Auto they determine the oil filter is gummed up. This struck me as odd since on the last visit they replaced the the gasket, oil pan, and even added oil, but apparently did not replace the filter. This oversight has hobbled and sealed the fate of a reliable, roadworthy vehicle, and cost my friend's family just under two thousand dollars for the privilege.

I want to underscore that this was a perfectly fine vehicle save the oil leak before they got their hands on it. I know because I was in the vehicle less than a week before this knock appeared. What was supposed to be a touching gift has now been converted into a money pit of a headache for my friends and their teenage daughter. I've already recommended my friend have their future auto work done literally a half mile down the road.
