I took my car to Walts and they told me I needed to replace the transmission which costs around $5000. So when they started to work on it they discovered that was not the problem. The problem was that squirrels had been storing peanuts inside the hood of the car, It was a lot. Looked like they had been doing it for quite some time. So the Mechanics cleaned it up and the cost was only $140.00.

A nice surprise for me. I have to respect their honesty and am very pleased with their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs car repairs. All the guys working there are honest and friendly.

Update to oil change service. It is now easy to get right in for service with all the same great care. They even patched my slow leaking tire one afternoon without a charge. Thank you! Great service (oil change) and reasonably priced. They are independently owned. Don't go last minute though, advise to make an appt well in advance. I waited 3weeks for mine.

Called in about a bad alternator after needing a jump at school drop off and was out and running by lunch! Ted was so nice and gave options and updates. They have a loaner and seemed to be great and efficient! Super impressed!

Great service, able to get my truck looked at the next day and they were able to determine what was wrong and get it fixed that day. Fair pricing and no surprises.

We are new in the area, so asked a coworker for a recommendation on where to take our older MINI Cooper to. Walt's diagnosed the problem (a cracked coolant reservoir) and had it back to us within 2 days, even though we took it to them the night before Thanksgiving. They didn't invent any other problems (nice!) and were easy to work with. It is a relief to find a place to take our vehicles to that we can trust in our new home.

Walt's has been my go to mechanic while living in Port Orchard. These guys are great, accommodating, & the best priced quality service I've seen in the area. Just make sure to make an appointment first.

First and only time. I will not be back. My husband booked an apt. For oil change.air filter change and tire rotation. We arrived that Sat before opening for our apt and was told they over booked and had to cancel. We rearranged plans to make this work so they took the truck at 8am after some debating. Less than an HR before closing no one called so when we did and they said "oh yeah it's done come pick it up".

My husband and I get there 15 min later and we were told the owner left to the part store and no one could check us out. On top of that one of the workers I asked how long the wait was going to be was rude and said oh well not my problem. 25 min later the owner arrived and checked us out.$80 for oil/air filter change that took from open to close and they missed the tire rotation we had an apt for. So now I have to schedule another apt else where to finish the services I had asked them to complete. Thx Walt's for such a bad experience.

We thought we would try Walts again and I was incredibly disappointed and encourage no one to go there unless you want to pay 100% mark up for parts and contract COVID. No mask wearing except for guy who put one after throwing out cigarette and could not figure out that it needs to cover your nose. No sanitized pens, wipes available. Again I understand some mark up for parts- but 100% over the cost of the part? Stay away!

I brought my car in to see if they could replace the fuel line. The mechanic explained to me that I needed to find an original part to replace the old one. I appreciate that he was honest with me. Some auto shops may have taken advantage of me and performed a low quality repair. Honesty is a great policy.

The manager Chris got us in to look at our car right before he needed to close shop and helped us through the whole process with a smile on his face! The staff was quick and helpful and the prices were affordable! Great costumer service, and service work from beginning to end! Would highly recommend!

These guys were awesome. Dropped my truck off for some minor maintenance items I didn't have time to do. They performed the work exactly as requested no additional bs and the final price was exactly as initially quoted. They even drove me home so I didn't have to wait on it.

So this guy is amazing! The owner is phenomenal and knows how to run his shop. We hit a nail on the sidewall we are both full time workers so having an suv out of commission is not possible. We bought new tires and called the next day here. He got us in on a weekend?! I was shocked! There were so many other customers I felt bad. But it took him no time at all to fit our explorer with new tires, dismount, mount and the works. We truly appreciated his kindness and quickness. They all did a fantastic job. We truly appreciate you being able to fit us in! We shall continue to come back here!

I love this place. Timely appointments and reasonable honest pricing! They even took care of a minor issue I was having at no charge. Really great place and I love the manager Chris.

I couldn't be more impressed with an auto care center. I went into Walt without an appointment, and they took the time to lift my car to get a better look of what the problem was, and replaced a missing bolt. without charge. Fixed the problem within less than hour and went out of their way to explain to me what everything was. If you are looking for an honest and reliable auto center to take care of you, this is the one to go to! Thank you to Howard and his crew!

Awesome service in every way. Damian really treated us well. We brought our 2015 Toyota Rav-4 in for brakes and an oil change at 9:30 - Damian called by 11:00 with a very reasonable quote, and the work was done by 3:30. This despite the place being packed and every service bay in use. At no point did I feel that they were trying to upsell us, fix things that weren't in need of repair, or anything like that.

It was just good old fashioned reasonably-priced car repair done fast and efficiently. There were a number of guys in the lobby when I arrived to pay, and all were saying the same things - how good the service was as well as the price. Being fairly new to the Port Orchard area, Walt's will now be our regular service center for our cars. Big thanks to Damian and his crew.

They work on modern BMWs, such as F30s. Had my rear brake pads changed and they knew to change the wear sensor as well. You'll need to bring the part in for quicker service. They can order the part as well. Excellent service from a local shop. Saved several hundred compared to the dealer for the same work.

I received excellent customer service! What was needed was thoroughly explained And why. The price was very competitive with other automotive repair in the area. Staff were extremely friendly and courteous. They went out of their way to ask how I was doing and if I needed anything. Will definitely be back in the future.

Recently moved to Gig Harbor from Alaska and this will most definitely be where we will be bringing our vehicles always. Some of the most friendly and accommodating employees I have ever dealt with and they took great care of my moms van. They were very helpful with the pricing when an unsuspected issue arrived with a chewed wire. Highly recommend this shop.

Another great experience with Damian down at Walt's Auto! That shop is extremely busy, and for good reason. As I sat and waited for my truck to get serviced, I witnessed several walk in customers, none of whom were turned away, and I listened to several phone calls with customers, all of which were handled courteously and professionally, even when further services were declined.

Although I have spent a considerable amount of money here with both my rigs over the years, they have always been honest, backing up their work, in addition to being the most cost efficient estimate. Damian runs a tight shop, all of the mechanics I have dealt with are good people and this business is asset to this community.keep your money local PO! I'm never taking my trucks to a dealership again.

This is the place to take your cars! The guys in there don't mess around and work super fast. They're very friendly and make what can be a stressful situation of having to take the car to the shop a very easy and reassuring process. I recently got my brakes redone and they did an excellent job and gave us a very reasonable and fair price!

We had a work truck towed in the day after Thanksgiving. Everyone was very professional and within hours had called with a very fair estimate and were able to fix the very next day.
