Honesty and phenomenal service are hard to come by in this industry, but we found just that here at IMM. We took our 10-year old Subaru in with the check engine light. It was middle of the week and while we needed to figure out what was wrong with the car we also needed to be ready by the time school is out.

My car had a check engine light on. Because of a gas valve leak. I went to a dealership and got the new cap. Light was still on. Just needed to get codes reset. Pep Boys tried to charge me a 99$ diagnostic test. I didn't fall for it. Called around. Found Imm. Took it their and they cleared the codes for free. I recommend this place! Thank you.

I've brought our family cars here for about 10 years. The staff has consistently been friendly, communicative and professional. They always exceed my expectations. I had a Volvo for years and they helped me make it last much longer than other mechanics had said it could operate. I now bring our family Toyotas here and they continue to give them the same great care. Definitely recommend IMM!

I've been going to IMM for close to twenty years - and they continue to impress. I recently screwed up a job I'd done myself (ouch) and had to get my SAAB towed in. They bailed me out, were nice about it, and best of all they left it 'better than they found it' (replaced mismatched bolts and their work shows it wasn't rushed - they did the job like they owned the car) which is rare these days. Great knowledge for odd cars like the SAABs, but they also work on mainstream/normal cars as well. Highly recommended!

I was referred to IMM by a good friend who has been a customer of Dave's since the late 70's. Dave is very personable and the shop is clean and organized. Juan the service tech was extremely thorough and inspected my car very carefully and even noted a loose bolt on an exhaust clamp. This was all during a routine oil change. I will be returning for future service. DRG Tempe AZ

I just brought my car in last week and was extremely satisfied with my experience here. Dave was very personable and honest about my car's needs. He saved me a ton of money after he said that what the Honda dealership on Camelback Road told me my car needed, was not actually needed at all. I had some work done on the shocks and will certainly bring it back for any future automotive needs that arise.
I completely trust IMM Automotive. One other thing that I liked about the place, was that a few days after I brought my car in, I received a handwritten thank you note from David for my business. You do not find that kind of thing often these days. Very glad to have discovered this place!

I took my Lexus SUV in for work instead of the dealership, saved me $1,200. He just repaired my mother's 1998 Mercedes for $1,000 less than the place she had been taking it quoted her and buffed out her headlight rather than replace it. David runs his business like they did back in the 1950's, ethical and neighborly. I appreciate the fact that he is the person that contacts you on the phone and steps you through exactly what needs to be done. There is no upselling. I left my BMW there to be serviced last week; I trust I will get the same results. Attention to detail and work well done. Highly recommend.

I have been taking my 2003 Saab to IMM for the past 8 years, and not once has it been anything less than a stellar experience! Appreciate the "straight talk" with no added selling and the very fair pricing for services. David is the consummate professional who takes his time in explaining in detail all possible repair options and the ease of scheduling an appointment was second to none! Highly recommend IMM for all Saab owners!

I originally went here in maybe 6/2015, because they are very close to where I live and have good reviews. I trust what these guys say after just 2 trips. They let me know what needs done and don't try to push it on you. The downside is that because these guys aren't your average idiot in a Jiffy Lube they charge more for labor than one of those places, an oil change I can do myself for $25 costs ~$40, but they will point out other things I didn't notice, which has probably saved me money, because I can do most of the basic fixes.
If you have been told by a dealership that something needs done, I'd take it here, especially if it is something weird like a Volvo or Saab. I plan to use these guys to inspect any future cars I buy on Craigslist. If it comes to any serious repairs I'd definitely use these guys.

On the recommendation of my colleagues from the Alfa Romeo Club, I decided to take my 1983 Spider to IMM for service. The car stopped running and I suspected something in the fuel system. I called last Tuesday AM and they were willing t take the car in that afternoon so I had it towed there by AAA. I dealt with Tom who could not have been more accommodating and helpful.
When the car arrived they called me to let me know it got there safely and that they would have a diagnosis by the end of the day. Turns out both fuel pumps were out as the first one had failed a while back and the secondary one could not handle the load. They had most of the parts however one of them was the wrong type so they ordered another one and my car war done by the end of the day on Wednesday. Tom always kept me apprised of how they were doing and were prompt, courteous, and professional. Thanks and I have have now become a loyal customer.

Huge waste of time on these guys. New to town, I decide to try them out based on their positive reviews despite being a 35 minute drive from my house. Due to a pile up on the 101, I arrive 20 minutes late after spending 70 minutes traveling to them. The shop is quiet and empty on this Thursday morning, but the man at the counter gives me a lecture about "how appointments work." Instead of being able to do the inspection, oil change and investigate a coolant leak as discussed, he tells me straight away that "they can't work on my car all day while I wait." Really?
First thing out of the guys mouth when encountering a new customer? I let him know that I expect him to have the car looked at as we discussed on the phone, and depending on what they find we can schedule any major work. He tells me my appointment has "passed." I let him know that if after driving an hour to be here he won't do the basics, I'll take my business elsewhere.
He throws my keys down on the counter. And well, here I am. These get a well deserved 1 star for terrible first impressions. If you try these guys, don't be late or daddy will admonish you.

This review is long overdue, but months later I still think about IMM and smile (creepy, right?), so I know this meant I need to take the time to share my thoughts. The scoop: I have a Prius and the dealer quoted me over 3K for a fix that just didn't sit right with me. I looked all over the web for Prius repair in Phoenix and came across IMM Auto and spoke with Dave over the phone.
He couldn't have been more kind - We talked on the phone for over 20 minutes about the issues my car was having and he, GASP, actually listened, rather than trying to shove pricy repairs down my throat. The next day I took my car in for diagnostics and lo and behold, all the repairs the dealer claimed I needed has miraculously disappeared. Dave was so cool, knowing the stressful experience the dealer put me through, he didn't even charge me for the diagnostic.
The moral of the story: Car repair shops have a bad name because they take advantage of customers who don't know any better. Dave and IMM Auto were the exact opposite of this stereotype and saved me thousands of unnecessary dollars. My advice to you is PLEASE, PLEASE get a second opinion from a local, trusted repair shop when something breaks on your car. And not surprisingly, I strongly suggest you get that second opinion at IMM Auto.

I've been taking my Saab, Nissan, Toyota, Dodge and now Subaru here for nearly 10 years. From great customer service to honest deals and low prices, you can count on Dave Enriquez and Dave Hanna to fix your cars speedily and fairly, every time. Stop paying more than you need to and give these guys your automotive repair business. They completely replaced the engine on my 350z and it works better and drives smoother than ever! I'm happy to recommend them and give them a well earned five star rating.

I'm a spaz when it comes to my car. I don't know much about mechanical things except for when they are not working properly! Dave Enriquez is actually the owner but both Dave's and all staff are super friendly. I know I'm a spaz, I understand little about my car, and my VW is pain to repair. They get 5 stars just for dealing with me.
The work is always 100% and they explain it to me. Not only that they warranty their work. All of the mechanics are master certified and they will also pick you up/drop you off when you leave your car for repair. I wouldn't say they are 'cheap' but as the other poster said it's fair. More than fair for the quality of work and service.

I love this place! David Hanna, who I believe is the owner is on top of his game. I have been going here for about two years. The first time I took my car in, I told David that there was something wrong with the rear brakes, and could also have a boot issues. When I returned to pick up my car, I was charged $35 for an oil change. He explained to me that though in the next 8 - 10 months I should have my brakes replaced, there is nothing wrong with them.
Many shops would have screwed me and just taken my money. The other thing that is great about them, is that they will work with you on what needs to be done. They give you a list of must Di's and nice to Di's, then will tell you all of it should be done by 'X' date. They are great, Prices are fair, not cheap but fair. And get on their mailing list and coupons come to you to help you out.
