D & M Auto Body

I got my car repaired here for free! My Toyota Camry got hit in the rear bumper. The lower cover of my rear bumper was detached. I have never been to any Body shops before. And this is my first time visiting body shops. I came to D&M Auto Body around noon on 5/20/2022. This is the third body shop that I have visited. The first 2 body shops that I visited estimated around $1,000 dollars and three days to get my car fixed.

Both of them told me that they couldn't re-attach my rear bumper cover and I needed to buy a new one. When I arrived at D&M Auto Body, I told the lady that I just wanted to know how much it may cost to get my car fixed. No one asked for my registration or insurance which I experienced at the other two body shops. An engineer was immediately available and came with me to check my car.

I asked the engineer if he could just re-attach my rear bumper cover. He started working on it immediately. During the repairing process, he went back to the garage several times to bring different kinds of tools. He didn't try to sell me anything and even didn't talk to me while he was focusing on repairing my car. It took him around half hour to re-attach the cover.

I was trying to give him some cash as a "thank you" because he has saved me $1,000 dollars and potential car rental fee. He refused and told me that I can bring his team some donuts if I want. I will definitely come back and bring the team some donuts. I will make D&M Auto Body my only go-to place for any car repairing needs in future. It is amazing that I have found a place where they just want to get your car fixed instead of making money!

Poor customer service. Walked in for an estimate and was told estimates were only by appointment which I get. I asked if someone can simply let me know if it was enough damage to go over deductible. The receptionist rolls her eyes at me and gave me such an attitude that I will never go back. I was referred there by a friend and I will let them know how poorly I was treated.

Nicky and the team did a great job fixing my Tesla. Tesla was slow to ship the parts but once they arrived they worked hard getting it fixed on time.

They took great care of my Tesla and had fantastic communication during the entire process.

My daughter pulled into our steep driveway and tore the bottom liner off her beetle. I called D&W, and they had me bring it right in. Knowing she needed to get back to Philly the same day, they got her car in right away, fixed it in under 2 hours, and did not try to price gouge us at all. I would HIGHLY recommend D&M Auto Body and will never hesitate to use them again.

Excellent body shop. Only place I would take a car for auto body work. To be honest they are on the expensive side so sometimes it might make sense to go to maaco depending on what its for. If you want it done right its not at all overpriced and you should only go here.

Great service! Dropped my car off for a repair after it was bumped in a parking lot. Everyone at d&m was friendly and helpful throughout the entire repair process. On the day I dropped off my car they called the local enterprise to get me picked up. They provided an accurate repair duration which was great. My car looks new again! And the complementary cleaning was very much appreciated. A nice bonus was a free t-shirt when I picked up my car. Overall d&m made the repair process as seamless as possible. definitely recommend!

D&M took care of me when I needed it most. D&M is where my insurance company recommended I take my vehicle after an accident. I'm so glad I did. They have an amazing staff that takes care of you. The work was quick and did an amazing job. They even give you a lot of paperwork on the job and warranties. Now this is the only place I take my vehicle if I ever need work done.

Last week I contacted D&M online to get the estimate to fix damaged rear bumper of Subaru Outback 2019. David suggested to see if the bumper can be heated up & pushed out. So I went there. David took care of it & said that there is no charge. He was very honest, helpful & professional. Service: Body & Trim

Once you see the repair facility and meet with your estimator you know that this bodyshop would rebuild your vehicle to its factory standard. Representing your customer needs rather than the corporate insurance industry. Waiting for my car to be fixed. Amazing job on my car. Using proper technical specification. Look at the picture of the finished car. Amazing work. I am very pleased with the quality and customer service!

Just picked up my Red Tesla from D & M Auto Body in Rockaway. My car looks like New! Many Thanks to Nicky, Shannon & ALL the guys who made it look as good as when I drove it home 2 years ago. Everyone was professional, put up with my questions, & Nicky let me wait until parts arrived from Tesla, (which took awhile) before bringing it in for Repair.

That made it a lot easier for me, as my car was drivable. Got a D & M Tee shirt too! Plus, they found my lost leather glove, which I thought I dropped at the mall! If YOU need your car repaired, bring it to the guys@D & M, and they will make it look brand New!

Tesla experts! Super easy to work with and coordinated great with my insurance. You could never tell there was a dent on the fender before, their work is top notch. They actually fixed some panel alignment issues too, which is awesome. Top notch work. Definitely would recommend them, especially for Tesla owners!

Such an amazing Auto Body shop. From the front desk to the mechanics. This is simply a phenomenal establishment. I've been using D&M for years now when needed. They are honest, hard working. sincere and go the extra mile to ensure their customer's are always satisfied. I recently brought my car in for a dent on the driver's side. It's like it never happened.

Very poor customer service. I drove across NJ to get there and encountered three car accidents on the nway which slowed me down a bit. I called them to ask them if they would remain open for three additional minutes so I can make it there to pay them some money. They told me " no, we are only open till 5:30 have a nice day. "After this transaction I will never be visiting this establishment again

Friendly, reliable, and fast! Nicky was super helpful and even dropped off my car at my job and picked up my rental.no other body job would go that extra mile!

My second time at D&M auto body. Paint color not correct on new bumper. White bumper on my off white vehicle. I didn't see the bumper when I picked up the car because it was raining hard. I had to get my own car from parking lot. No one showed me the completed job. After I brought color mismatch to their attention, D&M did offer to redo paint job and sent insurance co a new repaint estimate and another vehicle rental for 2 days. Excuse-Ford has 42 different color samples and painter thought it was right.

The installer didn't see the color difference either? I declined the offer. The car should have never been released to me in that condition in the first place. I gave them 4 stars because staff is good and they did offer to redo paint job. I will not be back.

I visited D&M this morning for the first time. I had gotten other quotes from other auto body shops in the Rockaway/Denville area to fix a pretty large scratch on my car. Those other shops were quoting me thousands of dollars to fix it. I went to D&M, David came outside and looked at my car. He took the time to thoroughly look at and then clean off the scratch.

I drove away with no sign of a scratch, and when I asked for how much I owed them, the response was "don't worry about it!" Amazing customer service. The customer is truly put first at D&M - not just looking for your money. They go above and beyond of what is needed. I hope I won't need to any time soon, but D&M will always be my spot for auto body needs. Thank you!

Impossible to deal with. It is like pulling teeth just to get a quote for an open claim on a cracked tail light. Taking my tesla somewhere else! I have had them repair some cars before and do good work but are painfully slow!

It's rare that I leave any auto place 100% satisfied these days but I have to say that D&M Auto Body is fantastic. Nikki was extremely helpful from beginning to end, the service was quick and professional, the results were excellent, and the customer service was first rate. I highly recommend anyone use D&M for their auto body work.

The best work and the greatest staff. Super customer service. Nicole and Shannon are more than helpful, efficient and friendly and my car looks like new again. I've been using them for years because of being authorized by Liberty Mutual Ins. and have had to visit them way too many times. I've been thoroughly pleased with every repair.very professional!

This is my first time here based off a friend referring me (her whole family used this shop). I will tell you I will most def. be back! Was concerned bc my high beams were working but low beams weren't. This week there's been a ton of rain so I wanted to make sure my lights would work and I could see. Dave "diagnosed" the issue, recommended the bulbs I should get (I need brighter than standard bulbs bc of eyesight).

I purchased my bulbs and called them back to see what day I could have them installed. Dave asked me how far away I was (3 min) and he told me to come back in and they would switch them out for me SAME DAY. When you have a 4:30p appt and they allow you to return at 5 to change out my bulbs.you feel grateful! It's the little things! It's an easy fix but customer service goes a long way and Shannon and Dave were wonderful. I will def. be back!

These guys are good. Small repair but treated as if i was an important customer. Repair completed on time and within estimate. They even touch up a small rust area included! My second time here and same treatment each time.

Amazing autobody shop. They are extremely helpful. Nikki is the best. She couldn't be more helpful and thorough with her work and her estimates. She goes out of her way to ensure every customer is happy. Everyone their is wonderful. From the owner to the girls at the front desk and the guys in the body shop. I would not go to any other body shop.

I have always been 100% satisfied with all their work they have done on my cars through the years. Not only do they do amazing body work but they are very upfront and honest with you. D&M Auto Body really did a great job repairing my Audi. The entire staff is friendly and professional. There were a couple of VERY minor imperfections when I picked up the car, but they fixed everything right away. Sean was amazing! A real perfectionist. The work took a day longer than originally promised, but it was worth the wait. The paint job was first-class.

The car looks like new again! Hopefully, I will never have to use them again, but it's great to know that I can count on top quality workmanship if I ever need them in the future. I would definitely recommend D & M Auto Body to anyone needing auto body repair work.

The autobody ive been going to for year retired, so I was looking for a new autobody. I went to a couple places and they had the worst attitude and didn't care about the business I would be bringing them. D&M is the complete opposite. Nikki is the best! She's does whatever she can to make things easier on you. She understands that this is frustrating to deal with a car repair and works with you.

I will only go to D&M for Nikki bc you won't find anybody with her patience and efficiency. The autobody did a great job on my car. I need the whole front body repaired and the car looked brand new. They cleaned my car better than some of the car washes. My rims are usually still dirty bc they don't clean the spokes. However, D&M manages to do what nobody else will.

They gave me a air freshener and a t-shirt. It's the little things that I appreciate. It felt good leaving knowing I'm being taken care of and so is my care. The only issue I have with this autobody is they do not touch up anything else you need. Usually if you have extra paint, they will touch up some chips and spots on your car. They do not do that there.

It was a little disappointing but the reason I went was for the front and they did a good job. I will be recommending them to everyone. I live 40 mins away. It's worth it

This location reminds me of a fast food drive thru. The focus at this location is on efficiency not quality. Their website claims to focus on quality and putting the customer first, but my experience was a far shot from what their website claims. I dropped my car off at this location to get my rear bumper replaced. They called me to tell me the work was done.

I was excited. However, when I arrived there were numerous defects in the work that I was required to point out. They agreed with me on the defects. I was told that I would have to come back to get fixed. I did not pay for the work. There were 3 areas of defect that made it clear they cut corners. Specifically, a piece connected to the bumper that was not properly fastened to the bumper, a 5 inch crease in the paint that was clearly uneven, and the areas that I requested touch up paint be applied did not contain touchup paint.

I also noticed that the folks running the front desk would openly complain about their customers. I also got some weird looks when I was in there office. Extremely unprofessional. I wonder if this is the culture of D&M or just how the front desk operates. If you don't like dealing with customers then go find another job where you are not dealing with customers.

I decided that going back to this location would be insane, so I called my insurance company to find another location that focuses on quality. I also filed a complaint on D&M through my insurance company. Bottom line, this location produces low quality work, but charges top dollar prices. I would never recommend this location.

Fantastic customer service and great quality work. Came in after a deer strike and they had my quote and rental car within 20 minutes. Conveniently called me with numerous updates as to the progress of my car, provided pictures along the way, and handled the insurance claim directly. No hassle repair. Would definitely use again.

Good quality work but especially, great customer service. I got my estimate in less than 24 hours (insurance claim). We agreed on a mutually convenient time for the repair and they took care of everything form that point. Kuddos to Nicki at the Cedar Knolls claim office for her strong customer focus and can-do attitude!

I was in an accident about a month ago. When other shops gave me a hard time about going through insurance, D&M came to the rescue and worked with me and my insurance company. The people there, in particular Bob and Shannon, are the most helpful and friendly I've recently dealt with. The repairs took about a week and a half, and I got my car back as good as new!

They matched all of the factory parts and color. They also guarantee their work for the lifetime of my car. This shop and the work they do is top notch, and I recommend anyone who needs car repairs to pay them a visit. I cannot praise D&M enough!
