We are a Family-Owned local business founded in Asheville in 1986, not a franchise chain shop. Our founders Jimmy and Kathy Carter started the business in a small shop located just off of Patton Ave. Having moved twice now to accommodate growth, J-Car is now located at 32 Old Charlotte Highway near Highland Brewing Co. and is one of the largest and most respected Transmission Repair Facilities in WNC.
We can check how the transmission is working with the axles and differentials to eliminate future problems. Make sure you service the transmission for those trips up and down the mountains. Always check for leaks. Small leaks can lead to big problems. Its important to get all leaks checked out right away to avoid larger issues and possibly higher costs.
