Took my dads 2005 Ls430 to get a full coolant flush. Unfortunately, more work had to be done such as a timing belt, water pump, radiator and so on. Roger is extremely knowledgeable in anything Toyota/Lexus. He is also very friendly and doesn't rush to explain anything to you either. Guys like him don't exist in the auto world anymore and you'll be hard pressed to find another guy like him. High quality work, great guy, clean shop, etc Will be coming back without hesitation. Roger's Toyowest provides outstanding and honest services. I was lucky to find him few years ago and will not take my 2004 Lexus GX470 anywhere else. Roger provided me an extraordinary experience. I've had my 2004 Toyota Prius for about 6 years and have never really needed a major repair. I took my car here and was more than impressed by the service I got. Generally I am comfortable doing most jobs on my car, but I had to do my ABS actuator - which is a tight job and involves a non standard brake flush. Roger knows Toyota's up, down, sideways, and probably even in the dark.

The difference here is that Roger is willing to help educate and discuss your vehicle top to bottom and truly inspect it with care. The team is able to take the time and focus on customer service and places that above all else. Don't be foolish and look around for a better deal - get the work done right by someone who's actually passionate. I hope I never need to do another major repair, but if I did I'd drive 1,000 miles to come back here.

Brought my vehicle here and had the very best experience I've ever had with a mechanic. Not only did he send me a video of under my vehicle to show me exactly what the problems were, but he was very economically priced and also had my vehicle done the same day on time! My wife and I were visiting my family after just spending 3 years overseas in England. The previous owner totally neglected to maintain our 2000 Toyota 4Runner. We thought it would be the time to get the maintenance done so that it can make the drive that we had coming up to the east coast. I gave Roger a call to schedule a time for my 4Runner to have a complete overhaul.

He was extremely professional and honest. Our 4Runner feels almost brand new. Here I am sitting 2400 miles away from where I picked up the vehicle and drove it across the country even with the high mileage it has. That just goes to show how good of a job Toyowest has done with my vehicle. I highly recommend this place if you have any Toyota/Lexus servicing that needs to be done.

I talked to Toyowest on the phone to get an opinion about my transmission on my 2013 Lexus ES350 and they were so professional, knowledgeable and honest. I was so impressed with how much time they took to explain the issues with my car. This was done all free of charge. If you need your car repaired definitely go to Toyowest.

I highly recommend Roger at Toyowest Automotive. He is very upfront with his work and keeps you the customer informed throughout the process. His work is high quality and he has decades of experience and it shows. He recently did major repairs on my 2000 Toyota Tundra and the truck is like a brand new truck off the lot mechanically.

Toyowest is a local, family owned shop that specializes in Toyota and Lexus vehicles. Once you speak with Roger (owner) you can understand the benefit of this specialization as he seemingly understands every last intricate detail of these vehicles. We have a 2002 Tacoma with over 260k miles that we've owned for 15 years. I can honestly say that Roger understands the vehicle better than anyone else I've encountered. He is very good at communicating and explaining issues, even sending videos of the vehicle for reference which is very helpful. I would highly recommend Toyowest.

I have a 2000 Lexus ES300 with about 145k miles that needed quite a bit of work as I decided to keep the car for another 5 yrs or so. Timing belt, oil seals, water pump, 4 new struts and shocks and more. Spent more than I intended, but the car runs like new. The quality of the work was first rate. Roger is very professional and an excellent mechanic. I cannot recommend him enough. Really liked getting updates via text on the repairs too.

If you own a Toyota or Lexus and are in need of services, look no further. Toyowest is the best. Roger is the most honest, and hardworking mechanic you'll ever meet. Not only did they get to the route of my trucks issues, but they also gave it to me straight. Where other mechanics might have been inclined to wedge a dollar out of my pocket, Roger gave me the tough truth and it was all for the better. Amazing, amazing, amazing, even though it didn't end how I had hoped, it was still an awesome experience, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Took my sons 2007 hybrid Camry in for not starting. Roger was able to pin point the problem down to the exact problem that saved use a lot of money for not having to replace different items. I would recommend this shop to everyone.

HOLY COW.! I've been going to Toyowest for almost 18 years. Roger Cahill is as honest as can be. I've had a series of different vehicles I've taken to him (Landcruiser, LS400, FJ Cruiser, and 4Runner) over the years, and EVERY time the work was done to standard. Recently, I had a hiccup on the 4runner, he repaired it, I drove it home, it failed, and he asked that I return it, and the repair failure was not something he did, but rather the replacement part (that I supplied in an effort to save money) was corrupt. None, the less, he honored his work with warranty, and after the corrupt part issue was resolved, the car repair was PERFECT.

Let Roger supply the parts, bulbs and oils, he knows what is best for the Toyota vehicles. I HATE WHEN PEOPLE COMPARE AUTOZONE.DIY.ETC prices.if you're going to do it yourself to save money.then don't complain of shop fees. Roger does professional work, feeds his family and maintains his shop for those of us that rely on a professionally trained mechanic that WON'T RIP US OFF like the dealerships. We have worked with Roger and Debbie for many years on our Lexus, Avalon and Tundra. Even when the news wasn't good about what was needed, they were always fair and easy to work with. We just bought a new Camry and will definitely be using Toyowest for all our future needs.

I have worked with Roger for several big jobs and have always found his service to be great. After a couple shoddy repairs on my 2000 Tacoma by regular Toyota dealerships I have found Toyowest a real breath of fresh air. The repairs I had done were a clutch job on a 4 wheel drive and struts/shocks on all 4 corners. The clutch job was basically a redo from a Toyota dealership here in town that missed the real problem the first time around. So I recommend Toyowest highly.

No bad experiences here. I took my 2002 Toyota Avalon in for some front end work because of an accident and Roger was forthright, professional and even helped me on the budget. He went out of his way to help me out and did a excellent job. The car rides like new. Also I would like to add when people review a business think of why your reviewing. If you set your expectations to be unreal your review will not be helpful.

As someone who was raised around vehicle repair shops it takes alot of knowledge, expertise and not to mention the expense it takes to keep a shop open. So for the other reviewer who had negative things to say you obviously wanted something for nothing and also your shocks could be shot and you not know it because the springs will support the vehicle!

I have used this place for many many years and always gotten great service with great prices I would highly recommended to anyone especially going you know it compare to the dealerships there much much more affordable and they do just as good of work

I absolutely did not have the same experience as the other reviewer. My experience with Toyowest and the Cahills started when I called for an estimate on my used Lexus IS 250. Roger was very knowledgable and clear about costs associated with the repairs I needed including labor. Since I needed all of my brakes replaced, he recommended a brake system flush.

He emailed me the price estimate, broke down all pricing and even explained that they are a little higher priced with their tires than other major tire companies because they are a small shop. Since I needed both tires and brakes and was willing to pay for the convenience of having it all done in one visit - I went with them. Roger even drove me to work himself when I dropped off my car.

In the end, I went with only replacing my front brakes as he called to update me that I could wait to replace the rear brakes (who else does that?). I will definitely be returning to this honest and customer-service oriented, family-owned and operated business for my remaining repairs. I hope you try them out too. As a daughter of a mechanic, I know what it means to have a reputable person taking care of your car.

DO NOT GO THERE! 1. I knew it was questionable when i brought in oil i purchased for them to change out. He said they don't do this, because they like to purchase it. In other words, he needed to mark up the price for the same oil. 2. He told me that our Shocks were blown out and said that we can't drive too far. Normally, when your shocks are blown out, your ride will be like a bouncing ball.

I closely monitored my drive and i did not have a bumpy ride that indicated blown out shocks. I took it to two separate mechanics and they tested the car and said if the shocks were bad, the car would bounce up and down. Basically, the owner lied about the shocks to get me to pay to fix them. 3. One of my light bulbs is going out. I looked up the model # to replace them and i went to autozone to purchase the ones for my car.

The owner said that these are the wrong headlights and I needed a more expensive set. Now, mind you- the model's I had were based on Lexus' recommendation. He then said that it would cost over $300 dollars to change out the bulbs. The bulbs he recommend was about $80 bucks, which means over 200 of labor. He will over exaggerate everything to get you to pay more. Btw, I sent my wife in to see if he would try to run up maintenance. I would not recommend this place at all. Not a stand up guy.
