Todd was honest and patient with me. Did a great job on my Camaro. Brought my own exhaust which came incomplete Todd ordered the missing parts and competed the work in a timely manner.

Very knowledgeable. Able to order parts and call when parts are ready to go.

Went here to have a catalytic shield put on our Prius. Tod, the owner was extremely nice, offer to sit inside and had coffee. He will be retiring in June so if u need anything done, go soon. We came here 30 years ago for different cars to have our exhaust done. Great customer service and very nice person. It took 45 mins. To put on the cat shield.

I went in about a month or two ago and brought in my Infiniti G35 to get my aftermarket exhaust taken off. Todd was nothing short of a craftsman and did amazing work on installing my original exhaust back onto my vehicle. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone reading this review if you're looking for someone that takes pride in his work, is extremely friendly, gives reasonable quotes and doesn't overcharge, as well as ensuring that YOU the customer is taken care of! With everything said and done I couldn't have been happier with his work, Thank you again Todd!

Todd is a great guy been going to his business for as long as I have been driving and modifying my cars his does great work at an affordable price.

Thanks for fixing my car Todd! Everywhere else I went was trying to screw me for my money! By saying it needs a new assembly, (the Stealership). And smaller shops said they needed to do unessairy work (remove other parts). All which was untrue and inflated the price by 1000s. Todd was honest and new exactly my problem after taking a look, which i pointed out where i seen a broken screw.

He doesn't charge to take looks. All other shops had a steep price just to look. My only issue was he charged me a flat rate for an hours worth of work that took him 30mins, and when questioned didn't care to adjust the price. (Replaced 1 broken screw on exhuast manifold) which solved the problem.

Excellent all around. Todd runs a solid business, fantastic service and great value. Honest as the day is long He definitely treats you right, tell everyone. Look forward to him publishing his and his dad's cool quotes

Not my first exhaust replace at this place. I have been coming to this place many times almost all my vehicles exhaust were done here. Nice gentlemen, free snacks, drinks or coffee while you wait and most of all best price with absolutely great job all the time. I wouldn't look anywhere else if you guys are thinking about modifying you exhaust. This is the last stop.

I unfortunately have to update my review after taking my car to another muffler shop and they shared some information on how this shop installed my exhaust. I'm now out $8,000 because of the install that Todd did due to welding (which wasn't suppose to happen and I wasn't aware that it was welded on) and in addition to this, he tightened a clamp that he purchased (which was meant for trucks) to the car and the clamps he used damaged my $1,500 midpipe.

I got quoted roughly $2,000 (1,500 for the midpipe and $500 for the install/fix) because my $6,000 exhaust has to be fixed from the welding job he did. Super unhappy with all the news I received and I wouldn't recommend taking a euro car to this shop for any exhaust work. Find a better shop that specializes in euros. To Todd's credit, he did tell me that he was having issues with the install and I told him if he could figure it out to do it but I shouldn't have done that. Regardless I wish I had went somewhere else because I'm SOL at this point if I ever decide to sell the exhaust/midpipe.

Todd is the most friendly, honest, hardworking and professional exhaust man in the Bay Area. He helped me fit a oversized spare tire under my truck by moving my exhaust in less than 5 mins. Definitely a go to shop for exhaust works. Don't bother going to other exhaust shops. This shop has it all. Thanks Todd!

Todd at Exhaust Works is a genuinely down to earth honest guy who will never try to upsell anything that is not required for your repairs. I took my Honda Accord to him to fix a catalytic converter that was stolen from my car. He is quite experienced and his repair costs are very reasonable. Very rare to find auto mechanics like him who give you the straight facts and don't overcharge for your repairs.

Exhaust Works installed complete new pipes and mufflers on the MrStitch shop 76 Corvette as specified! Todd replaced! the Engine exhuast manifold that was old and came apart when he removed the bolts to install new pipe assembly. He ordered and installed the manifold and completed the job! Todd did not want to charge me for manifold that came apart! while working on vette. MrStitch said no! and paid for the professional service and parts needed to complete my Vette. Todd helped me!

Todd replaced my stolen catalytic converter and put in a security plate as a theft deterrent. I liked Todd a lot. He's a busy guy but handles things with friendliness and efficiency. You think "good guy" when you talk to him and I see other reviewers who agree he's a good human being. I'd definitely recommend him to others!

I found the last honest man in America! They quoted me $750 to lengthen the exhausts in my 1956 Willys Jeep. The work was done exceptional well and on time. The communication was excellent and professional and courteous but the biggest surprise was when I went to hand the owner $750 cash and he told me hey Jeff we used your existing mufflers and headers which you liked so let's just call it $500.

I nearly fainted. Last week I had the opposite meeting with the garage that installed my new gauges. They told me 4 hours and charged me for 6 explaining that there were some engineering complications. I can't recommend these guys strongly enough. They are guaranteed to have any and all of my future business.

Todd is a great professional, he knows what he does and does it with quality. His equipment got broken and I had to wait but he followed up and once there he and his team were super nice from beginning to end. I had a Borla 11919 exhaust installed perfectly on my 2017 MX-5. If I did it myself, it'll take 3 to 4 hours. Exhaust works gave me such a great quote, I decided it was so worth it to let a professional handle it. I was so dumb not to get his name, his demeanor, and friendly advice was so awesome. Pretty sure he was the owner. I'm seriously considering upgrading pipes on my commuter Corolla just to give this awesome place even more business!

Don't waste your time. I've scheduled 4 different trips here to replace some rusty components on my stock, easy-peasy exhaust. Each time, I'd show up at the shop and have them tell me that they no longer had time to do the work that day. Despite scheduling a week in advance, checking in the day before, showing up on time, etc, there was always an excuse.

They got backed up, their pipe-bender was on the fritz, I think they just didn't want my business. If you browse the other lower reviews you'll notice the trend. Luckily there's plenty of other auto shops along Old County road.

Todd & the crew at Exhaust Works were top notch from start to finish! Brought in my lowered, mint 1963 convertible SS Nova for a complete exhaust system. Todd listened to my requests & helped accomplish my ultimate goal of a quiet yet throaty exhaust system with "H pipe" & electronic cut outs, with keeping ground clearance as a priority for a lowered hot rod! My daughter got her catalytic converter re-installed here, after she was lucky enough to get it back from the police, who caught the thief who stole it. (Hurray for the San Mateo Police Dept.!). Very professional and quick service here at Exhaust Works. We were impressed with the quality of work, the reasonable pricing which is far less than the dealership or other shops.

We also purchased from them and had them install a guard to help prevent future thef in the future for the converter as well. Again, super friendly and helpful service here. I highly recommend them.

This shop is great. Todd the owner is very knowledgeable & very reasonably priced. My husband & I have been here several times with different vehicles over the last few years & will refer him to family & friends.

I had a really good experience with Exhaust Works. A few months ago, my catalytic converter got replaced here for a fraction of the price that my mechanic quoted me. However the check engine light started coming on again recently, so I came back. Todd pulled down the code and figured that the oxygen sensor needed replacing. He showed me how to buy one at a bargain price and offered to install the sensor at no charge.

He said its part of the service. I don't know much about exhausts or cars but I find his work ethic and integrity a breath of fresh air. In this age of mega corporations, let's support small business owners like this one who's rooted in our community.

Todd is a stand up guy.! He is knowledgeable and his prices are very fair. I have gone to Todd a few times already.
