I just wanted to say thank you for everything. The car is fantastic and it is making things a lot easier. I've been able to go to other stores for my job the past two days to help out where they are needing extra people. It is perfect. Again, thank you for everything. Thank you for donating your car to Good News Garage and for giving my family of five the opportunity to be in a safe vehicle.
My family has gone through a lot recently, and getting this vehicle relieves a great amount of stress for us. Because of this opportunity, I have been able to leave domestic violence, provide for my daughter, and raise her in a healthy environment.

Our history starts in the 90's with a vision to provide vulnerable community members with affordable and reliable transportation. We may have changed a bit since then, but our mission is, and always will be, the same. 1994: Visionary social activist and Lutheran church member, Hal Colston was working at a Vermont agency when one of his clients, a single mom, came to him in tears.
To donate a car, truck or van to Good News Garage submit your donation online or call our toll-free number: 877. Good News Garage accepts donations from across New England and eastern New York and currently serves residents of Massachusetts and Vermont. If you are seeking assistance with a car or transportation and live outside of Massachusetts and Vermont, please visit our Transportation Resource Listing.
The car donation process is fast and easy. Donated vehicles are typically picked up within three to 10 days after we receive the title, depending on where the vehicle is located. You can start your online donation here. You must have your certificate of title, or for cars older than 15 years, a Bill of Sale, and the keys.
Car recipients are able to move forward in their lives, donors receive free towing and a generous tax deduction (up to fair market value if the car is awarded to a family), local automotive businesses are utilized and communities are strengthened. Most car donation organizations sell 100% of the donated vehicles they receive, and they hire a for-profit middleman to handle the donation process.

This place provided outstanding service to our family. We ended up needed to replace an older car engine and Cameron was wonderful to work with. Very patient, helpful, willing to engage in problem solving. Most impressive level of customer service. This is the only place I will be taking my cars in for any type of service or repairs.

I've been taking both of our Toyotas there for over a year, and they do a great job on maintenance and repairs. After a string of bad experiences elsewhere, I'm delighted to have a trustworthy mechanic. Best of all, they are nonprofit and revenues from fixing my car help provide vehicles to low income Vermonters in need.
