D & L Restoration, Inc. is an auto restoration shop that is truly passionate about each classic car, antique car, custom hot rod, and muscle car restoration project we perform. We do not specialize in just one era, make, or style of classic car. We have restored everything from pedal cars to old Bentley's, bicycles to Camaros. With the right information, there is no vehicle we will not restore. We can perform maintenance, diagnosis, and mechanical repairs as well as bigger projects - we don't discriminate by project size!

Our primary focus is the restoration of antique, vintage and special interest vehicles: all makes, models (foreign and domestic), as well as pick-up trucks. D & L Restoration, Inc. is owned and operated by Louis Cohn, who has over 42 years experience in auto repair, painting and restoration. The entire crew has over a century of experience.
Our family-owned restoration shop is looking to add a talented and motivated body technician. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in automotive refinishing and be relentless in the pursuit of show quality bodywork, panel alignment, and panel fit. This is not an entry-level position. We want to connect with an experienced, passionate bodywork professional. We'd love to meet you.

Repairing rust has been something every other company I dealt with shied away from; however, Louis and the guys at D&L Restoration took on my rust issue in stride. The budget was effectively kept to and additional damage that happened to the vehicle while in their hands was taken care of complimentary. I wouldn't have known there was additional damage and repair to my vehicle's radiator support brace had it not been passively mentioned. Humble, honest, hard working and thorough; I couldn't ask for more from such a business.

I met Laura and Louie at the Issaquah Fenders On Front Street car show in June and was immediately impressed with their love of vintage autos and the work that they do as seen on one of their own muscle cars at the show. I took a card and called a few days later to chat about having them restore my 1930 Chevy sedan. I have a very advanced built-in Bullshit meter, and within 5 minutes, I knew that I would be bringing my car to Louie for a total restoration.
I appreciated that right out of the gate he set my expectations reasonably for a start date as he is busy. I love it when a business man refrains from over-promising a delivery time. As for another reviewer (S.G.) be glad, Louie, that he went elsewhere to have his ego stroked! What a twit, and NOT EVEN A CUSTOMER! There is a reason that some other shop can call you right back and start right away, just like the restaurant that isn't busy. Give me the busy one every time.

Met Louie Cohn at a car show last summer when he recommended installation of sub-frame connectors on my 1969 Camaro SS convertible. I took him up on his recommendation and had him install the connectors and replace sub-frame bushings. He was right - the car drives completely different (like a new car), the work was performed professionally, completed within two days, within the quoted price and; the crew at D&L was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Louie Cohn and D&L Restoration to anyone looking for a competent, professional and reasonable shop for classic-car restoration work

D&L is the only shop I use. I found Louie years ago when my 1977 pick up was rear ended. The insurance company wanted to write it off and no other shop would touch it. The D&L team did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. Their initial bid did not include replacement of a quarter panel, but previous damage was uncovered after starting the repair and a new panel had to be welded on.
They had every right to charge extra but they didn't. They just cared about delivering a quality product to their customer. But that is not the reason for this review. I recently had D&L repair a scratch on the truck. Louie had saved the paint! It has been 6 years since the first repair and Louie moved the shop.and they kept my paint. They did an excellent job again, and guess what, without fanfare or extra money, they fixed the latch on my tailgate and tweaked the idle on my engine so that it runs like a top. Awesome shop, awesome people. Won't go anywhere else.
