This shop owner was the rudest person I ever dealt with. At first they didn't want to take my car in for an insurance claim. I waited 2 weeks and then had Liberty Mutual contact them. They asked me to wait another week and we scheduled a day to come in and drop the car off. Upon arrival, the lady at the desk asked me to wait. I waited for 20 mins while this guy sat at his desk and twittled his thumbs, Im assuming on purpose because he was being indignant about having to repair my car since his shop is a preferred repair shop.

Here we are a month later after the accident that Im dropping my car, and this guy has the audacity to treat me like this. Fast forward, I get my car back, and within a month I noticed that the area that they repainted turned colors. Albeit, only slightly noticeable, but still, its there. These people hounded me for every dollar I owed them, and when I asked if they would repair their work, I never heard back from them.

Just know that this business holds grudges and thinks they can treat people like jerks if they feel it's appropriate. Thats bad business. And they ought to be ashamed of themselves, but they obviously have attitudes and think who they are. I'd rather they just have told me no, instead of doing lousy work, which Im speculating was on purpose given the circumstances. Thanks for nothing.

They replaced my grille, bumper, headlight and hood. They did an excellent job with the repairs. My car came out looking like it did when I bought it.

Auto Care East did a fantastic job repairing my car. They explained why I'd need a new bumper rather than simply a repaint job, and made that part of my car look as good as new. Then they cleaned the interior and exterior of the car without my asking them to, and even waxed the exterior, making it literally sparkle. Plus, they worked fast. Very pleased!

Insurance told me to bring my car to them after my accident in December I came in they took pictures of jus the body I tried to tell the guy that it's not jus the body something underneath was messed up as well he said I'm pretty sure it is and jus disregarded what I was saying to him and continued. They was supposed to order parts and have me bring it in here I called for about 2weeks straight no answer and when they finally did answer they haven't done anything as far as order parts it's 2months later almost and my car still ain't fixed I was told I can bring it in the morning the morning comes and some other person tells me 2weeks more smh what is the problem

I brought my car in after an accident with a State Farm insured - it needed a new bumper and hatch. The team handled everything with insurance fluidly and with little involvement from me. The quality of the body work and painting was sublime, and the steady communication via email was much appreciated on my end. All in an excellent experience and I recommend Auto Care East to anyone in Manhattan needing body work.

I did not feel like I was treated good. I felt like they did not want to be bothered with me. Talked at me and not to me. Rush. Rush They took pics and just said we will reach out toyour insurance company and also let you know later. IT WAS SHORT AND BLOUNT.

Auto Care East defies the typical negative stereotypes of mechanics. They are polite, professional, communicative, straightforward and do what they say, on time and on budget. They were helpful in coordinating timing that was convenient for me for drop off and pick up multiple times. I recommend them highly. Thank you to the team at Auto Care East. My car got a bad ding in our neighborhood garage and Auto Care East removed the dent and repainted the quarter panel with perfection. I know it's NYC and service can be impersonal, yet Mary was kind and professional when I first called and when I arrived. She called me when my car was ready for pick up as promised.

I was very surprised to find the car spotless inside and out, washed and looking like brand new, which was relief with Covid still an issue (interior was sanitized).Thank you so much. I would suggest taking your car to this garage. No, it wasn't close but it was worth the Uber trips to get these dents removed, repaired and repainted.

Customer service is disgusting. The tall Caucasian Man in the office needs some classes on respect and communication. I would rather deal with my car being the way it is than to subject myself to his treatment.
