Mis diagnosed my car. told me it was my motor mounts when that's an easily verifiable part to confirm. They based their diagnosis simply off the symptoms i described, and then didn't even confirm. Well they were wrong. My motor mounts are perfectly fine, (and were replaced 3k miles ago) I told them that, and they stood strong with their initial position. "oh they must have prematurely collapsed" ya.no dude. oem bmw motor mounts didnt prematurely collapse in 3k miles. now my engine needs to be rebuilt because I trusted their word that my car was otherwise running fine. FKin liars this place has a giant property right in the heart of la jolla.
I cant fathom how they are still in business. didn't see a single car from this decade (or the previous decade) anywhere. bunch of "classic" (garbage) on jack stands rusting away all over the place.

Carl and his team are top notch. Bought my 330 from a friend who came here as well. Always honest, always fair, don't let the "curb appeal" scare you, nothing but knowledgeable honest proficient mechanics here. It's the little things for me - came in for an oil change and Carl took care of my CEL light by replacing a cracked vacuum hose. Charge? Nothing, try that at a dealership.
As long as I own this car it will continue to be serviced by Carl and Team! Guess I cant have multiple reviews? Just got the car back, ATF service and oil pan gasket, thanks again Carl!

Was worried about my check engine light being on and wanted to have everything looked over before a long trip, usually I feel a little uncomfortable around older men and a little judged by mechanics but the man I talked to was just really nice? He didn't seem to judge me when I talked about my car and also the shop dog is a very very good dog and I pet him so much, all around a very nice interaction and I'll definitely be going back

Terrible service. Called for some parts on a couple different cars. Carl was very hard to hear on the phone and told me they didn't have anything for the first part I was looking for (engine oil pan), I confirmed with him (since he was hard to hear) that they had nothing. Then he hung up on me, didn't even want to talk to me about the other parts I am looking for. Never used them before and never will if this is the way they treat new customers. I would be happy to discuss this with the owner if he is concerned about this issue.
