2022 and Robert's is still the only place we take our cars too! Even when the repair takes longer than a day, they stay in touch with you on the progress. Recently it was some warranty work and they made all the calls and collected the info, I didn't have to make multiple calls to get it approved through the company. Saved us money and time!

I can not recommend them enough. My Jeep had issues that the dealership could not figure out. Cristian and James the two service advisors stepped up big time and got to the route of the problem. James went above and beyond making sure I was taken care of. I will never go anywhere else. Trustworthy, reliable and competitive. THANK YOU GUYS!

So far no luck in finding a reliable mechanic to fix my 2001 VW GTI. These guys say they don't work on older cars. Isn't that nice? They only accept work on newer cars. Imagine if doctors only helped younger people when they were sick. Or if only the good doctors worked on wealthy people.oh wait! It's their choice, but just goes to show how the world is skewing more and more to the benefit of the haves.

A truck hit my car days before Christmas when auto service shops are at their busiest. These guys were swift in setting an appointment & executed expert work. James, Christian & Juan went over and beyond to ensure WHILE my car was getting worked on, I was Ubered to a local coffee shop so I could work! I'm a lifetime customer. In fact, I prob shouldn't advertise how great they are. I take it back, they're terrible! Don't go! Lol

My friends had recommended Robert's because they give you great service at a great price and don't try to overcharge you. I'm so glad I went with them to fix my broken tail light! They fixed it in an hour and squeezed me in before they were going to close for the New Year. Would definitely recommend this place and will be going there for all of my car needs!

Excellent experience at Robert's! They stayed after hours to make sure that my car was done the day they said it was going to be. Since it was after close they did not have the shuttle running to pick me up, so they ordered an Uber X for me. My car also needed a lot of work but they charged me a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Called multiple times over the day. Someone finally answered, immediately told me to hold, and then forgot about me. I hung up after 10 minutes of listening to a painful "we're so great!" phone message.

These guys were fantastic. I had my Explorer towed into the shop and had to leave the next day. They ran diagnostics and found there was nothing to be repaired, vehicle started up the next day and ran fine. Not only did they keep the car there until we returned, they didn't charge me a cent for any of it. They could have easily found something wrong with it and required a repair because they knew the tough situation we were in, but they didn't. Really appreciate these guys and would highly recommend them.

Fantastic! I can't say enough good things about this auto shop. They always answer the phone right away, their work is excellent, they provide good clear information about the mechanical issues of your car, the estimated cost, and the progress of the work thus far. Very honest and easy to communicate with. We moved recently to the San Diego area and had several issues with our car and they worked with us every step of the way and were very fair. Highly recommended.

The guys at Roberts were responsive and flexible when I made inquiry about replacing the shocks on my F-150. They made me a very reasonable offer to do the work and then they did the work in a short time frame. I'm quite pleased with the service I received and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Roberts to friends and family. Two thumbs up.

These guys are really great. I have used them fora Mazda/Ford (ranger) pick up & Toyota Prius. They are usually outstanding in every way but even if there is a small communication or other issue they go above as beyond to make it right! I highly recommend them.

James and Christian were both so kind and helpful! I dropped my car off on a busy Saturday morning and within in an hour, my oil was changed and had a full inspection on my vehicle. I used a voucher I received for a complimentary oil change, and am 100% satisfied with the service I received! I'll definitely be coming back. Thank you Roberts Auto Service!

I took my BMW here for Oil Change and I wish I went to BMW of Encinitas. The staff here were nice but I was quoted a different price over the phone which was lower because I have AAA. I informed of the actual price when arrived for my set appointment. I advised the guy that I was quoted a lower price and I gave the Year, Make and Model and advised having AAA.

Once the job was completed he said they couldn't do the Transmission fluid because it's different for BMWs. After that I was a little annoyed and realized I should have went to BMW of Encinitas and I would have paid the same price and receive service to check my Transmission fluid. I should have been advised over the phone because I wouldn't have come here for service. Communication is key. Now I know to take my car to the Dealership for now on.

New Year's Eve day and my daughters car breaks down. Called Robert's Auto on the off chance they could take a look. Despite being busy, they fixed the problem quickly, checked everything else on the vehicle to make sure all was well, and she was back on the road! Outstanding service and quality work. Another great Yelp find. After moving to the area, I need to find a mechanic to look after my car. Their front desk was amazingly polite, service was quick and everything was organized. I just did some scheduled maintenance but I'll be returning for the next oil change.

For the better part of the last two years, I've been a happy customer of Robert's Auto Service. I began following a referral from a friend and now Robert's are the only garage that services my car (outside of Smog Inspections and the occasional oil change). Christian and James are a pleasure to interact with as they communicate with you regarding the service on your vehicle.

They share with you the needs to get your vehicle safe on the road. It can be challenging to receive an accurate timeline regarding the completion of work, but so it goes. I've never left feeling that I've been taken advantage of, that unnecessary work has been completed or that work completed was not quality.

Wonderful service, my brakes are working great! Very trustworthy. I dropped my car off at 10am and they were fixed by 4pm. Fair pricing and good communication. Thank you for the great vehicle service.

I have a 2005 Audi TT Quattro I was so relieved to find out staff also personally owned generation one TT 's The very knowledgeable efficient fair and a pleasure to work with on my cars repairs. I love my car. Audi 15 SQ5. I love it so much I needed new rear brakes from all the driving. I went to Robert's after reaching out to multiple different locations. Was very evident that Christian at Robert's knew exactly what needed to be done from just the Yelp message communication. Others wanted to resurface the rotors which you cannot do on this car.

When I got there I wanted them to also check to see if the front brakes needed changing as well. I found them very honest that the answer was NO! Just the rears needed to be changed. Price quoted/completed was the same and did it in just a few hours. Used OEM parts. Really impressed with the honesty, service, and quality of work. I will be back and recommend you check them out as well.

I have seen Robert's Auto Service (RAS) shop every time I drive on that part of Mission Bay Drive for Decades. I have never used them because I usually go the dealership from where I purchased my Range Rover. For the past few weeks (according to my wife, last few months) my brakes have been squealing louder than a happy pig in a mud pit. I decided to get a quote online whilst my wife was driving us to Rancho Mirage, Ca.

I received a reply really fast from James (no, not myself). The quote seemed pretty reasonable for a complete brake job, so I set up an appointment, also done online. When I got back home, I called my Land Rover dealership on Miramar Rd and got a quote hours later. I almost fell off the chair I was setting in; it was more than double the $$ for the same work at RAS. Needless to say I kept my apt. with RAS and was not disappointed.

My brakes feel and sound like they should; smooth and quiet! I will take my wife's car there next for her brake job instead of the Lexis dealership. Well done RAS, Well done!
