Just an FYI to all you folks looking for an Excalibur. Many people think lower miles is the best, that is not always the case. To keep a car in good running and driving condition with parts fully lubed etc. We advise everyone who purchases one to drive the car 1500 to 2000 miles each year. So take the year of the car you are looking at and multiply the age by about 1750 to 2000 miles and that should be the average for a car that has been properly used.So a car built in 1984 could have between 62,000 and 74,000 miles and be just fine.
The premium, 2-ply nylon carpet used in the mats wears like iron and will maintain its good looks from the day you buy it until its time to sell it. Underneath the carpet is a polypropylene mesh material and latex backing that help the carpet hold its floor hugging shape followed by a water resistant backing that keeps water from ever reaching the carpet.
We received a call from an insurance estimator to get an appraisal on the car and approximate costs to repair it if possible. Through photos sent to us we were able to give them some numbers for what we were able to determine. Through that the insurance company was contacted and the insurance appraiser recommended that the car return to the place it was built for the repairs.
