Mark Weiner ~ President and founder grew up in New York where he cut his teeth helping to build formula ford race cars. With a passion for outdoor sports and the mountains Mark and his new bride moved to Colorado Springs where he begin working at the local the BMW, Fiat, Ferrari dealer. He quickly found out that there was a real need for a shop specializing in all makes of European cars and in 1978 opened Concours Cars in old Colorado City.
Concours Cars specializes in turning your vintage car into a great driver that can keep up with traffic and handle like a modern car. Because we have repaired, rebuilt and finished many European classic automobiles, we have the knowledge, expertise and passion to make your special car run like new, (often better than new).
Maintaining your car is an integral part of keeping your daily transportation, weekend toy and show piece ready for the next adventure. When your auto is making a strange sound, driving poorly or leaving its mark on the driveway, bring it to us. We have the latest in diagnostic, reprogramming and scanning equipment for all European cars. We go well above and beyond what the dealer can do with our knowledge and experience.
Once the coating is applied you will see a mirror effect, glossiness and color depth, incomparable to anything else! With proper maintenance your car's finish will shine for many years to come. The slickness of the coated surface doesn't allow dirt, break dust and tar to stick to your car's paint, wheels or glass.

I'm shocked to read some of the reviews as everytime im in they treat me awesome. They know be by name and have done two other volkswagens of mine. Never had a complaint or issue. 5 out of 5. Price is on the higher side but when you get better quality service then any other euro shop its a easy justification. Thanks again guys.

Very poor at time keeping.and to stop and take lunch I am here waiting on my car. But that is cool. Go do lunch. I will be here with my car on your rack when you get back from lunch. And still take 2 hours to finish. What was only a 1.5 hour apointment At 830am. Finally get my car at 210pm. Thamks for sucking up the time.

My 1976 BMW 2002 had been in my garage for the last 20 years. I would start it occasionally and drive it around our neighborhood from time to time. But, I just couldn't trust it out on the road. Electrics were corroded; brakes were leaking; and, my tires were the worst. The time had come. I called Mark at Concours Cars. At our initial meeting with him we developed our plan.
Safety items first; drivability items next; and finally, a few upgrades. Throughout this process, Mark kept us informed and even educated us on our Bimmer's various systems. Our thanks goes out to Mark, Frank, Mike and all who helped us get our Bimmer back on the road.

*Totally intolerable manager, talked down to me like an idiot. Told me $100 means nothing to him and I should be happy with getting the service I did.* For some reason my last review is not showing up. I am literally writing this again because of how strongly I feel about this shops attitude towards its customers. A while ago I took my VW Diesel bug here because it wouldn't start randomly.
I get a call back 30 min later as they found the problem. My negitive battery terminal was loose from when I just changed the battery. They tightened it up and it was solved. I was happy to hear it was such a lamens issue. I came to the shop to pick up the car and was handed a $120+ bill. When I scoffed at the price one of the managers (I believe to be one of the owners) decided to talk down to me about how much things cost.
And that $100 should mean nothing to me because "it's a tiny amount of money". He then talked down to the 2 ladies I was with about the same thing and told us "there's some feedback about you". I paid for the "service" and left. I wouldn't spend my money hear as some people just dont deserve it. If you value your hard earned money and want to support solid business stay away from Concours Cars.

This is the third European specialty shop I took my Audi to and the first that was able to diagnose my Audi's misfire issue. They really are the best in town. They even located and tightened down a motor bracket that was making noise for free. The customer service can't be beat. Brett took the time to explain to me in detail everything that was happening without being in any way demeaning towards me as well as patiently answered all of my questions. He was completely straight-forward and honest and tried to save me money and create a long-term customer.

A long story but they intentionally put the wrong APR tune in my Porsche, (wrong tune for the DME, wrong tune for what the car had). This caused multiple trips to different shops (3 Zero 3, CoSpgs Porsche and Concours), trying to figure out why the car was running so poorly. $2000 later, no resolution. European Performance did what they could, fixing the vacuum issue that controls brake performance and boost pressure, both critical performance issues missed by the shops above.
Though they couldn't fix the tune issue that had the car in "Limp Mode" for almost 2 years. Ultimately, back at Porsche, it was discovered they rendered the DME incapable of returning to factory software. Another $3200 to fix that issue. Now the car is happy. As for APR, they refused to refund the $2200 for the wrong software they helped Concours put on my car. If I were you, would stay as far away from Concours and APR as you can get!
