I am late getting this review done. It is long overdue! Where do I begin? We were moving my terminally ill mother-in-law up from Santa Fe to Helena, MT the end of March. We had a wheel come off just as it was getting dark between Pueblo and CO Springs. It was in the constructionzone, not close to anything. My husband pulled off and had to spend the night with the truck and trailer.
We had no idea if we were going to find a place that had what we needed, or how long it would take to get us back on the road. To say that this trip had been stressful, is an understatement. My husband started searching trailer repair places, and came across Hickman Trailer. Knowing that they were closed, he called and left a message hoping for them to get it first thing in the morning.
Not only did Joshua get the message, he texted Jim back right away that night. He assured him that they would help get us back on the road, and to have me stop in as soon as they were open the next morning. So I was there first thing, they had another hub assembly for me, packed the bearings, got me a new tire and wheel and had me out the door in 25 minutes. Joshua and his dad, are both incredibly sweet and hilarious!
They were true to their word, they worked with a smile and kindness that you just don't find a lot if these days. We are beyond grateful for their help, and we highly recommend them for ANY of your trailer needs. Thanks again fellas!

A true test of a business is how they treat you when there is no chance they will make any money from you. I had an issue with the title on a trailer purchased years ago. I called Hickman for help. Christy went out of her way to get my issue resolved. Very professional and helpful. Other businesses should take note.

Went in for a trailer VIN verification. Josh performed a thorough inspection then advised me on certificate presentation to the DMV as there was a discrepancy with the manufacturer and parent company listed on the title. This advise proved invaluable when dealing with the DMV. Josh is a seasoned professional in every aspect. Dealing with Hickman is a pleasing experience. Hickman has been and remains the go-to-establishment for all trailer and hitch needs in COS.

I bought my trailer with Josh 4 or 5 years ago and anytime I ever need anything he's more than happy to help. I dropped my trailer off cause one of my guys damaged it and he was able to get it up and running in no time. The guys in there are always friendly and professional. The employees and service at Hickman Trailer are outstanding. Our travel trailer had serious axle and brake problems when we arrived. They checked it out immediately, gave excellent advice, ordered the difficult-to-find part, and installed it at a fair price. Josh (service manager) was always courteous and kept us informed throughout the process. As a result, we made it home without a problem (~1,500 miles of serious winter driving in late December).
