Maran's Auto Body

We have a Lexus RX that had body damage. Maran's was recommended to us by our Lexus dealer. It was out of the way but we wanted things done right. And they were. Just like new. Work was slotted. There was a delay because of work in the pipeline. So many banged up Lexus vehicles in their lot eating their turn! The communication between Maran's and our auto insurer was great. Maran's also called a nearby rental car office to get us a rental. The office staff and owner (Mike) are friendly and accessible. If we need auto body work again, we know where we will go. Highly recommended.

My parked car was sideswiped and everyone here at Maran's was super kind and helpful. Great communication, was able to get my car fixed in a short amount of time and is in better condition than before. They went above and beyond and even cleaned the inside of my car as well. 10/10 Would recommend, will definitely come back here if I have any more issues (hopefully not though)

We had a great experience working with Maran's. The people there were very professional and easy to work with. The body work and paint job were both perfect, and, as an added bonus, they cleaned the car thoroughly, both inside and out. The car looked like it did when we drove it out of our car dealership. We will recommend Maran's to all of our friends.

I am very hapy and satisfied with their customer service and how they handled the repair of our car after a recent accident. Most importantly, they fixed the car very well and you can tell that they truly take pride in what they do. They even attached our new window visors and they also fixed the wires of our dash and back cameras which we only secured with tapes. They tucked the wires properly and now it looks neat inside. Communication was also easy and quick. Highly recommend!

Before you drop off your car for body repair and replacement, make sure you check your car's existing parts like OEM headlamps and stuff. Because clearly my broken headlamp from the passengers side was fixed by this shop with OEM part and they showed the receipt for it because I asked for it but what I didn't realize that the existing one on the other side which was good had been replaced by someone that I now found out was welded and replaced that I would never notice.

Because if I knew that headlamp was new as well until today I found out that my original headlamp was replaced and that was so identical and the welding was done by someone with cunning mind and took my original $3500 part. "God is watching over us" don't forget. This money won't bring you peace!

Mike at Moran's was AMAZING! We had an older car but low mileage and family wanted to keep it. Helped us with insurance company and made the car look JUST LIKE WHEN IT ROLLED OUT OF THE SHOWROOM! OUR FAMILY GOES NO WHERE ELSE!

My company has been using Maran's for many years and I could not be more satisfied with the quality of their work. I have trusted them with a few high end exotic cars that came out in Concours condition! Their shop is as clean as most hospitals (maybe cleaner!). Not only is their work impeccable they are just down right good people. Michael and his dad Jimmy are hands on owners that treat you like family and take great pride in their work. If you want your car looking like new after an accident or are restoring a classic and want it right, then this is the place.

Brought my Mini van to have my mirror fixed. They ordered the part, it came in very quick. Came in today to get it done and in 15 minutes it was done. This Auto Shop is the best. I would highly recommend this place always. I have had work done before to another mini van of mine, they also did the work on that van. Their work is absolutely the best. They are very friendly to deal with. I love this place, you will not regret anything. They are the best. Thank you for your great work.

My service center sent my Caddy SRX to Maran's for an estimate to repair damage that occurred when a tree fell on top of it. I went over to Maran's to get some personal items from the vehicle. I met Mike Maran when I arrived unscheduled and he could not have been a kinder, more sympathetic, and more generous person. He helped me retrieve my items, explained that my situation was likely a total loss and walked me through the process, offered tips on working with my insurance company, and reminded me to take my EZ pass.

He even spent some time looking at my pictures of how the damage occurred. The other thing I immediately noticed was how well run the place was. It's a big operation but the yard was clean and organized with a large content staff doing a lot of great work. Forgive me Mike, but the "Hi Ho" song from Snow White kept buzzing through my head. Understand that no work was performed on my car (It's possible they have worked on my car in the past). I just know, should the need arise, I would feel very comfortable bringing my auto here.

Amazing service and incredible work on my Tesla Model S! I could not be happier with the results and I recommend that anyone with any body work for a Tesla go straight to Maran's!

For the last 40 years Maran;s auto body always repaired our vehicles and from the first day till now the service is exceptional and professional, in the last episode the left side of my personal car had to be replaced and the way it was delivered looked like if it was coming from Detroit. I rarely write reviews on places that I visit but I was treated very well here more than once and just wanted to express my gratitude. I have a higher end car and I'm pretty fanatical about it keeping it nice & damage free. I had been to Marans once before this as I lived close to there many years ago. I've since moved into Manhattan and rarely travel out to Queens these days.

In June I had an accident with my new Lexus and brought it into my dealership for repairs. The service writer informed me that they didn't do any body work there and that they would be using Maran's to repair my car. The same Maran's I know and had used myself prior to this. I was immediately relived knowing that I wouldn't have to worry and the car would be as new when they were finished and of course, it was.

If it needs to be done right don't waste your time running around from place to place. This is one of the cleanest most well run shops in the city. Their body and paintwork is flawless and the staff there couldn't be more helpful. Thank you Mike and Darren Thank you Maran's

After geico express center (twins collision) wrote me an estimate but refused to take my car, I came here to Maran's Auto Body, they are just across the street from where I live, and I always see trucks full of cars in and out from here. That geico express center wrote me an unrealistic low estimate and left me hanging, I realized that when I came to Maran's.

I should've come here directly for estimate and not waste my time at geico express center. I drive a Nissan Murano 2010LE. My hood was dented and scuffed in random places (those SOBs are unbelievable). It was a vandalism claim. This is a 3 layer aluminum hood which is not repairable unless you fill up all the dents with body-filler! But its not the proper way to repair dents!

And thats what Geico originally quoted for - unbelievable! At Maran's they do not agree with sloppy job, so they called up geico, and adjusted the estimate so that they could replace the hood and fix my car the proper way. They finished the job very fast. I went to pick up the car this morning and it was looking brand new. They actually went above and beyond.

They fixed (or replaced, not sure) both headlamps, washed and vacuumed my car inside and out. I had a small ding on my bumper, they took it out as well. I am a professional graphic designer, even 1% color mismatch catches my eyes. These guys repainted 3-stage white pearl color flawlessly and matched every single panels. I am a perfectionist and I couldn't complain - I think that really sums it up.

First time I went there I spoke to Daran, a really nice guy and gives 100% honest opinion. When I went there next time, Daran wasn't there, so I met Mike. Mike handled my car from that point to the end - also a very nice guy and very professional. I'm glad I had a chance to meet both of them. Most of all, I'm glad I trusted my instincts and came here to get my car fixed. Just visit their facilities, you'll know how they are different than any other body shop! I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Brought my car in due to someone hitting it while it was parked. Received an estimate and everything from there was seamless, especially when dealing with my Insurance. I received great service and vehicle was fixed within a few days. My vehicle came out of the body shop like it came out of the show room - looking brand new. They even cleaned up a few minor scratches! Maran shop repairs all types of vehicles I have seen from luxury to even a regular old Toyota and does a great job. They have their own lot so your car is gated and parked safely over night.

I have used Marans three times over the years from small to fairly large jobs. The last time was just a month ago. They have been consistent in their outstanding workmanship, their courtesy and their timeliness in doing the work and returning the vehicle. I never worry about the paint matching and every detail including the pin striping was done to perfection. Mike the owner eliminated the stress that goes with having a car accident. I highly recommend Marans as they do not let you leave unless you are happy with the work.

I've used these guys at least 5 times and had to bring my vehicles back at least 3 times for color mismatch issues. Shame on me for going there more than 2 times. Their shop is busy. But, at least in my case, they have trouble with consistency. The owners son has trouble with listening to customers. And that was the last straw. You've been warned.

I had my rear bumper on my 09 Acura TL repainted here and they did a great job. My bumper had some paint chipping off due to the rough winter we had. When i first stopped in to get the quote for how much it would run i was immediately helped by mike. He took a quick look and gave me a quote, the price was right so I came back to drop my car off. There was no bsing around they quoted me right and gave me an estimated turn around time.

They kept me updated on the status of the job. When i picked up my car I was extremely happy with their work, the paint matched perfectly to the factory finish. Mike took me to my car and made sure I was satisfied with the work before payment was even taken. I will surely use Maran's auto body again a+ service and workmanship.

I have used Marans twice. First was when the microburst hit Queens where it was like a pre hurricane. The second was when a shopping cart in a parking lot bumped into my car and scratched the car. wtf! Both times I have to say I was pleased with my experience. First thing, the guys at the front are super nice. Second, the shop looks like a office rather a body shop.

I have seen some shops that look like shit, I guess this place takes pride in their shop which they start with their front area. I am 100% happy with the shop and I will be back if I need work done.

I went to Maran's to get a quote for a small job to repair a scratch on the rear drivers side fender. No dents just to repaint the area where the paint came off. I was quoted over $600, telling me he had to redo the whole bumper. Seems like he didn't want to bother with it. I went around the corner to Woodside body specialists and they did a great job for $175. I couldn't be happier as the paint matched perfectly and i cant even tell anything happened there.

I have to agree with Molly M. The staff is very friendly and service is fast but the work may not be so dependable. As with Molly, I had my car fixed here because this shop is associated with Geico (and it is near where I live). I had the passenger's side done because it was scraped and slightly dented. Maran's also popped the rear passenger hubcap back on because it had fallen off.

I don't think they cared too much about the hubcap because after two days of getting my car back, it fell off somewhere on the highway while I was driving! Not too big of a deal but I am slightly annoyed. How hard is it to ensure that the hubcap stays on? It only takes a few minutes, probably the least strenuous of their tasks.

I've had my car fixed twice at Maran's because it's a Geico ARX outpost. The people here are always great and Geico makes it very easy to get quick service. However. my car came in for a bumper/trunk repair due to someone rear-ending me at an intersection. When I went to pick up my car, I realized the trunk didn't work. I handed the car back over and waited another thirty minutes for it to come back.

Fast forward to driving away to realize: 1) my brake light was now out 2) the stickers that match the model of the car were changed (from one VW model to another) 3) the trunk STILL does not work. The customer service is great and they kept me updated on the work and the process, but I didn't walk away with a good feeling. I'm sure that if I was to go back yet again to ask them to fix the trunk (third time's a charm, right?) they'd be happy to make it right, but I've chosen to call Geico and find another repair shop closer to home.
