In an industry riddled with dishonest practices German Motors is a pillar of integrity and transparency. Not only did the folks there earn my business, they earned my trust. I will be bringing them my future business with confidence Services: Oil change, Electrical, Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

Love German Motors! Have had my car (2005 VW GTI) here a couple of times over the last few years, the service has always been quick and for very reasonable prices, no matter if it was for an oil change or for and actual repair. Most recently had my car here for a new coolant reservoir, had a minor oil leak fixed, my oil changed, and had a seat belt buckle replaced (I had ignored it for almost four years saying I could do it myself, but never got around to it) as well as a full inspection of the car all for under $1000. Dropped my car off Monday morning and it was done Tuesday.
I've never had to go back to have a repair redone, nor have I ever felt that I was being hosed on things that didn't need to be done. Craig is fantastic, and so are the technicians who work for him. Very friendly and honest.

Craig, owner of German Motors is the best. My car had been worked on by someone else, which had done a bad job. I called this shop told Craig my problem asked if i could tow it n, I did. His crew assessed my problems was so super honest and helpful with my decision of what to do. Tjank u Craig and your crew.

All I can say is there great. I picked up my 2003 325 BMW today and the first red light I hit I though my car died, nope. I realized that it was still running but was running very smooth. It's like a new car. Can't even feel the motor running. Everybody was so cool there. They don't only treat you like a customer but they also treat you like a friend. My car will only be worked on by German Motors from this day on. Thanks guys Eric Goltze

Con's Can't think of any. Pro's Honest, Ethical and Easy to work with Affordable Got my car IN AND OUT No jerking me around Got the car to pass smog German Motors is the real deal. I took my car to another repair facility in Santa Rosa on Cleveland Ave (Trans Shop) to find out why my BMW check engine light was on. I needed it to pass smog. The shop told me that I needed to approve a $500 diagnosis charge with a minimum of another $500 of repairs.
They named the repairs, but I felt like they were throwing parts at the car. I then took the car to German Motors. They read the codes, made a few minor adjustments, replaced a few vacuum hoses and BAM, the car passed smog. He charged me $300 for repairs and the smog cost $58 next door. Seriously, that's great service. I won't go anywhere else! Thank god I finally found an ethical, moral and honest shop to take care of my BMW.

Horrible experience. They had a BMW x3 for sale on Craigslist. We contacted over Labor Day weekend and although they were closed. salesperson agreed to meet us next day at 10am. We drove up for the appointment. inspected the car. took a test drive and my wife and I agreed it was the car for her. We pulled up back in and sheepishly the salesperson said I'm afraid I have some bad news for you.
While you were out for the test drive. I sold the car to someone who apparently drove it the day before and that he had processed their Credit Card over the phone while we were out. Simply horrible thing to do to us. All he had to do was say there was a person who tested the car earlier and that our purchase was subject to his possible purchase, or tell other person that since we were out driving it, he had to wait for our decision. We were set on the car and couldn't believe it when he told us this upon our return. Don't trust them!

They seem friendly and honest enough. I didn't have the money to get my repairs done. I decided to try and fix it myself. I paid the $75 fee for running the computer diagnostic. They explained the code to me and gave me recommendations as to how to proceed. They also recommended a local auto parts place and told me what brand part to buy.
