What can I say that hasn't been said. WCM has been the best experience I've ever had with a shop. I took my sons Cummins in for what I thought was a simple brake job and realized more work was needed. Kelly was honest and upfront. In no way did I ever feel I was being worked. He was so helpful with getting the replacement parts at great value and really worked with me getting the ol dodge safely back on the road. I've finally found my go to for auto repair. And I get a call a week later to see how the trucks doing. Look no further in wine country for all your auto repair needs.

Great experience when purchasing my Golf. David was first class throughout the process, answered all my questions and made the purchase very easy. He even collected me from the train station. Proper attention to detail and customer service. I would 100% recommend.

I recently purchased a new (to me) vehicle from a garage over in Edinburgh. Having considered the trade in offered by said garage I approached WCM to get a price. The trade in offered was higher than WBAC, better than the price offered by the Edinburgh garage, was hassle free, paid quickly and as ever was all completed on friendly, cooperative terms. Would recommend to others that they consider trading at WCM, definitely a positive experience

Having both sold and bought a car at west coast motors I can only compliment Ollie and Jamie for excellent service from start to finish, nothing was to much trouble as I work away from home they went above and beyond in both picking up and dropping off cars which is unheard of, cannot praise them enough for an impeccable service and experience in buying a car, this is the way it should be done, will defo be buying again in the future

I 've had service done at WCM twice, always a short wait and friendly staff that know what they're doing.

Trustworthy and reasonably priced--I've been going to WCM since the 90s and have always appreciated their honesty. They're not the cheapest shop, but I can always count on them to do a good job and not upsell me on anything I don't need. Isn't that what you want from your mechanic? They even called me today from a brake job they did last week to make sure I was satisfied and my car was running well.

Excellent and hassle free service from the guys here, very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to picking up my new motor. unfortunately ran into a bit of an inconvenience with the car but ollie was more than happy to get the issue fixed quickly and without any bother at all. honest and professional work from these fellas, really easy going and they kept me well informed through the whole process, would highly recommend

I've been friends with the guys for a long time and I'm so happy for them with respect to their success over the past year. From start to finish with my new car they stayed in contact, constantly update me and kept me in the loop at all times. I have a '78 CJ-5. Motorcraft 2100 carburetor and vacuum hoses and smog attachments that make the NY subway maps look easy. I couldn't find anyone that could work on it until I found these guys. Jerry was incredibly polite, patient and knowledgeable. He was able to get it back in top running order. I swear it's never run this smooth!

The knowledge and experience these guys have is a fading skillcraft that i am grateful they are able to pass on. This current generation of OBDII reader "mechanics" does not have the talent and experience that only comes from wrenching. Use these guys whenever you can. Keep them going. for all of us!

Refund for unintentional overcharge - Being new to Napa, I needed a new mechanic for an oil change on my BMW. Early on a Monday morning I called around looking for a shop that would be able to fit me in that day. My research led me to Wine Country Motors. When I called they were hesitant to try and fit me in but, after a few minutes of calendar checking Kelly was able to squeeze me in first thing after lunch.

When I arrived Kelly was ready for me, having purchased the unusual type of oil that my car requires (synthetic 0W-30). All went well and I was on my way in an hour or so, happy that they were able to fit me in. I knew the oil was expensive, and wasn't surprised at the cost of the oil change. However, I was surprised when, a week later, I received a check for $21as a refund for an overcharge on the price of the oil.

Wine Country Motors supplier had quoted them the wrong price on the oil and it wasn't noticed until after I had left. Kelly took the time to write a note explaining the overcharge and sent a check for the refund. I HIGHLY recommend Wine Country Motors as a competent, honest automotive shop that will do great work at a fair price and won't take advantage of you.

Over the years that I have lived in the Napa Valley my cooling systems seem to always need attention frequently. These guys are the best and make 'bringing your car in' a real pleasure. They get the job done and one will likely leave with a smile as you leave.

Use VINE. Closer than you think! If you live in the Bay Area and can get to the El Cerrito Del Norte station, you can hop on the VINE bus for $5.50 (cash) and it will take you 1 block from the shop. (http://www.vinetransit.com) When needed, I drive my '81 Fiat Spider up - since they really know and understand them - drop it off, walk a block, hop on a comfortable, clean (and nearly empty) VINE bus that takes me back to the El Cerrito Del Norte station.

To pick it up, I catch a VINE bus at the same spot and go get it. This review is for you, the reader. Kelly and the gang at Wine Country Motors keep plenty busy because they are a great crew. You will see any type of car there and a stream of happy and loyal customers. If you have an old FIAT like mine, certainly go to them because they know the car inside and out.

They must have 10 to 15 there at any one time and know everything about getting the job done right. I just had them replace my 38 year old clutch and then they did little bits of fix ups as needed. I think I've learned something every time I've gone up. What's more, I actually enjoy getting a chance to chat with Kelly and be around the shop - super friendly place. That's long enough. I could go on. 5 stars is genuine and well-deserved.

Hello there! Wine Country Motors is great. By far the best auto service I've received. I brought my truck to them thinking it was on it's last leg. Kelly and his crew went though and diagnosed the problems prudently. My truck is running perfect, and they have given me three follow up calls to make sure it is still humming along. I got the third call today and it has been over a month. I can't say "thank you" enough! This is the place to take your vehicle for repairs in Napa, hands down!

My car broke down while I was driving home through the Napa Valley on Sunday night and I was stranded for the night in Saint Helena. There was no option of getting a tow at that hour, so I had to spend the night. I researched auto-mechanics online and both Yelp and Google had given Wine Country Motors good reviews, so I put it on top of my list. I called them first thing Monday morning explaining my situation. Jerry said that even though they were short-handed that day he was willing to have someone take a look at the car and try to get me on the road as soon as possible.

When I towed my car to the shop, they immediately checked me in and gave me a realistic timeline when they will get back to me, which was a couple of hours. In about 3 hours I got a call back with a full diagnosis. Sadly, my car couldn't be fixed that same day, because they had to order the parts. I felt bad because I felt that I will be stranded away from home yet another night. Jerry called me back right after and asked if I wanted to rent a car.

I was grateful for that call because in my stressful frenzy I forgot about that option. He then helped me rent a car at a discounted rate from the neighboring car rental service. In an hour I was in a car going back home. I got a call from Jerry again on Wednesday morning saying that my car is ready. When I came to pick up the car, he showed me all the parts that have been replaced and said that I could call him with any questions. I would recommend this business because of their professional demeanor and genuine customer care.

I can't think of enough great things to say about Kelly Dicker and the rest of the staff at Wine Country Motors. Getting a car serviced in what seems like an honest manner has gotten so difficult in recent years. Most places don't want to fix problems, they just want to replace parts and sometimes, those parts can be *very* pricey. That's what I love about Wine Country Motors. Kelly is a trusted advisor - he won't recommend a repair your car doesn't need and you never have to wonder, 'am I being ripped off' because the answer is, 'no, you're not.' I literally feel like you could give the staff at Wine Country Motors a blank signed check and they'll only bill you for the work that was required and not a penny more for things you don't need done.

I have a car that's a bit more difficult to service (that's what the last shop I took it to told me). Kelly and Wine Country Motors was recommended to me by a friend. He was friendly on the phone when I called to discuss the issue and very helpful while my car was being repaired. He kept me informed and answered all of my questions so I never had to wonder what was going on.

I, Michael Joseph Matteucig, owner of a wonderful 18.50 year of service Subaru Outback (automatic with Rhino Roof Rack--228,000) am eternally thankful to the superb/competent technicians and office management for maintaining my vehicle in meticulous running condition. Wine Country Motors is the only place to have one's vehicle maintained/repaired.

I have a '75 Fiat Spider that loves being taken care of by Kelly at Wine County Motors. He is a really cool dude who knows his vintage Fiats. He is always very thoughtful and willing to tell me all about what my car does and does not need and his prices are always fair. My car is running better now than it ever has. I also always appreciate that I always get calls a couple of days after picking my car up just to make sure everything is all good. Everyone who works there is very nice. Superb service! They changed my senior mother's oil and did a smog on the fly during a full scheduled day! They were so courteous and thorough! They even took it upon themselves to remount her damaged passenger side mirror that was hit and hanging off! This is a total 100% idiot free business! Yay for us!

I drive here from Novato. Yes, there are many mechanics between Novato and Napa. I will venture a guess that everyone at some point has had a bad experience with a mechanic. I will also say finding a mechanic that is completely trustworthy is a challenge. Kelly Dicker and his staff surpass that threshold. I will get oil changes locally, but when it comes to requiring anything beyond that for my Subaru Outback with 190,000 miles on it I take it to Wine Country Motors. Thanks Kelly! HB

Very friendly over the phone, New to the area looking for a good mechanic and even for my oil changes. Dropping off my car absultly no parking so parked in the back, guy was a little frustrated that I parked there and just seemed like woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I wasn't sure was all included in there oil change, then he just asked if I needed brakes checked or tired rotated, all done recently so not needed.

He didn't go over any other checks, but I did state I had a concern on another issues. Which he didn't seem to think much of, but when he called when it was ready he did state he looked at it, and recommended a specialty shop to look at it. And was more friendly when I picked up the car. So a big plus, i want a great mechanic shop but friendly as well.

After a visiting the DMV to register a vehicle I just bought and was told I needed a smog check. I walked into Wine Country Motors at 12pm without an appointment and the techs there were just finishing up another smog and about to head out to lunch but they decided to squeeze me in. I was in and out in a jiffy and was able to go back to the DMV to finish what I started without a hitch.

I had my brake rotors turned here a few years ago on a 2011 Camaro and was very happy with the service and price. These are great guys running an honest shop. Will most definitely return when needed!
