My wife Ingrid Tavares got her BMW 535xDrive fixed by John and he was a life saver (when even the BMW dealership refused to fix my car). John was fast, honest, and did an awesome job on her BMW. He also has a fantastic sense of humor and way of treating his customers is top notch. Also Julie the secretary was very pleasant and helpful every time I called. We are so glad we found John and recommend him to everyone. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Next time that you judge someone with negative reviews, ask yourself if you would help anyone. If you would do anYthing for free. If you would waste your time on someone that you know they will not be your client. He did. And that makes him much better than most of us. For the record. I asked him why he does not have a Jaguar dealership. He could.

I saw it. But he is not the kind of person who would work dishonestly. When you truly fix a car well, no matter how much money you made, $500 or $4000, you know that this client will not be back for a couple of years. unless. you do not really fix it and the client comes back soon. well, John will really fix it. So read a review by someone who would have her car fixed at no cost at the dealership anyway, and if you ever take your car to John to fix it, you will have done the best. At least you will know that your car will be truly repaired, no monkey business. So spend your $ well.

Have been going there for over 2 years to get my battered 2006 BMW X3 serviced. John continues to provide amazing service. He is transparent about what's happening in the car and would not suggest a replacement until it is necessary. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Went here a couple time - oil change and water pump repair. Price seems more reasonable than European Car Doctors. Service was ok, John seems like a nice guy and seems truely interested in completing your repair right, but I am not sure of the value between his service and that of the dealer. I go to my local BMW dealer often and I get a free BMW rental and much better service.

I go here if I can't go to my dealer but will go to my dealer instead considering there is not much difference in price and the service is much better than here. Update: I won't be going back here. Had something done and later found out that wasn't the problem. Minor repairs ok here but not major diagnostics and repairs.

We took our BMW X5 to John for a few issues--all were taken care of at a reasonable price. He takes time to explain what he will do and what he has done--he even replaced a rear tail light in my Volvo for no charge! It was so great to find him--I recently had an unpleasant experience with a dealership in the area--so now I know where to go for fair, honest and excellent service! I cannot recommend him highly enough!

I do most of the work on my 07 525 myself but when my car was overheating badly and I needed it back quickly, a friend was adamant I take it to his mechanic, John at Brookline jag and Bmw. I called John and from our first conversation I knew he was a guy who really knew his cars and was just interested in doing great work at a fair price to help people out. John had my water pump, t-stat, oil cooler seal, some radiator hoses replaced and the coolant flushed within a day.

He also took the time to talk me off the ledge about replacing the shocks on the car myself. When I complained about a low idle vibration that shows up only sometimes, we threw it back up on the lift and he helped me isolate it and almost completely solve it with a few washers and some good ingenuity. I can't recommend him enough. Great work, fair price, incredible customer focus. Everything you need and nothing you don't.

Trustworthy isn't a word that I've ever used to describe a mechanic until now. My boyfriend has taken his car here for years and has always praised John as being fair and honest. I knew he didn't do body work though so I took my car to the place next door to get a quote for a small ding on the front panel. They quoted me over $2,000 and told me I needed to replace the entire front bumper and side panel.

On the way out, I stopped by John's shop and he noticed that I had that protective film on my front bumper and that the scrape had only penetrated the film. He and one of his guys (Trey) removed the film from the affected area and ta-dah, my car looked brand new. Best part.they didn't charge me a penny. I was blow away and have been recommending John ever since.

Extremely knowledgeable and fair. John really knows his BMWs and will do exactly what's needed, but not more just to make a buck. They diagnosed a tricky issue and rather than replace the entire computer in my 325xi they instead ordered a part to fix it for hundreds less than I would have otherwise paid. Go here for good and expert service.

John and the team do great work at a reasonable price. They are honest and only tell you what you really need to get fixed. They found a serious, uncommon problem with my vehicle and they were able to acquire a part and get it fixed within 24 hours where it would have taken other shops days. I will definitely keep coming back.

John and his team at Brookline BMW are simply the best! I have been in the auto industry and have owned various types of German cars. In time, I have visited many auto repair shops and dealerships, but was consistently overpaying and receiving crapy service. At Brookline BMW they are methodical and don't fix thing that do not need to be fixed. I came in about two weeks ago and thought that I needed a new alternator, but afterJohn and his team spent about an hour or two looking at my car, I received a phone call telling me that it was just a loose wire, causing the battery not to keep a charge.

They only charged me for what is equivalent to less than one hour of work. Whereas, most other mechanics would have just replaced the alternator charging you like $700 to $800 dollars. I will only take my car to get fixed here. I would recommend any one to give them a chance! They will not do you wrong in any way. They are very fair and very honest! Thank to the team John, Rich, and Angel! You guys are the best! I look forward to giving you my business in the future.
