Amazing shop overall. Everyone there is super friendly and they really truly work with you. Had a rental for almost 2 weeks and they handling everything beautifully. Had someone crash into my parked car and after everything I feel like you can't even tell there was damage being that I was very worried since it's a lease. Highly recommend.

I recently was involved in a vehicular accident on rt.109 a younger guy thought I should run a red light and he rear ended my vehicle. According to the Suffolk police officer who were right behind him, he was 100% at fault. Due to these circumstances I had to locate a collision place of my choice, I decided on 1042 Collision. I was greeted and spoken to by the owner Marie and the experience was enlightening, I found out that I had a choice of establishments not the insurance company picking a lesser qualified shop.

This was the best move I made, since Geico attempted to have be go to a cheaper less experienced shop, which I know now after the repairs were completed it would have been a disaster. My vehicle looks and drives as if it was just out of the showroom. The staff was friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgable. The fact that Geico attempted to steer me in another direction and in violation of NY State law was unconscionable, I believe are not very reputable.

I was total satisfied with the work performed, by Marie and her staff, especially a gentlemen named Bruce. If unfortunately you are in an accident please considering utilizing the services of 1042 Collision you won't regret it.

I told my insurance company where to go.and brought my car to 1042 instead. I figured I'd support my local business and boy am I glad I did. I pulled up had one foot out the car door and immediately was greeted by a gentleman named Bruce. I was shocked I got someone's attention so quickly and thought for a second these guys must be hard up for my business, but to the contrary they're shop and lot was packed to the hilt!

We went into the office and in 10 minutes Bruce located the parts needed and gave me a quote that I couldn't refuse. He kindly explained the whole process and time it would take to complete and Bing bang boom scheduled and parts ordered! I should have been out the door at the 11th minute but I felt like I was visiting friends. Marie is a blast we had a lot of laughs. Can't wait to dent my other car! Thanks 1042 Marie and crew for a fantastic job. Car came back show room clean and Paint match is perfect.

Had such a wonderful experience dealing with everyone here! Someone ran a stop sign and destroyed the front end of my car. They did a phenomenal job fixing everything and it looks better than new! I could not be happier! Everyone was super helpful and very nice helping me get everything straightened out! Will definitely be coming back here in the future!

Everyone there is so helpful I had such a hard time getting a hold of safelite to fix my window. So instead i called and asked if they could do it, and they didn't even have to think twice about it. Glass is on shortage so it did take time to get the windshield. Marie and Bruce kept Me in the loop the entire time. Once I got the car back it was cleaner then I could have imagined it would ever be. They do amazing work and I wouldn't trust anyone else. Always so easy to work with.

They handled everything for me including getting me a car rental with unlimited miles so my accident did not interrupt my vacation plans! Been here a few times and have had great experiences each time dealing with the owner Marie! I had my car detailed with them inside and out and was shocked when i got it back. It looked like a brand new car, i didn't even recognize it. A year later it still looks just as good. These are the nicest people the best body shop on the planet.

My boyfriend brought his Challenger here to get dent on his car fixed. They were so friendly and helpful. They did a great job and the car looks brand new! We will be back if we need work done again.

THEY ARE THE BEST! someone opened their car door on me and left a nasty dent. i came here for a quote and met bruce. he ran me through the process in what needs to get done and promised it would take only a couple of days. Marie did the numbers and gave me a great price. i brought the car to them on tuesday and it was ready by thursday! the car looks perfect, pretty much brand spankin new.

Both Marie and Bruce are super kind and very knowledgeable. i am super happy with the way they treated me like family and how they treated my car, i will forever use them and recommend them to everyone!

1042 is professional, trustworthy, and fast. After breaking a mirror on my car 1042 had it replaced at a reasonable price in just a couple of days. Everyone at the shop is incredibly nice and they make the not so pleasant experience of getting your car repaired after a collision less painful. While they had the car they kept in touch with the status of my repair, the parts needed, and the estimated price.

In the end they completed the job ahead of schedule and their work was perfect. You would never know it wasn't the original mirror. While I hope to not end up back at 1042 it's nice to know you have a place you can trust like 1042 should you ever need collision repair. Highly recommend!

My bumper was replaced on my car! Looks fantastic. This place madd me feel right at home. From the first call with Marie through text during this pandemic time, she was professional, and very accommodating. They told me to come drive up and gave me a very fare deal on the repair. Unbelievably they fixed in less than a day. Not only did they fix it they washed and polished all the scratches out! Looks fab.

And they gave me a free tshirt, what company today gives you anything free? These guys and gal do. Local right off of Fulton easy to get it and quick service and honestly good business.

I just wanted to compliment all at 1042, especially Marie and Bruce. This is the most professional auto body repair shop and I wouldn't ever go anywhere else. I was hit from behind causing lots of damage. I brought my car there and never worried that it wouldn't be less than perfect. My car was sideswiped by an elderly gentleman in November, when it was 3 weeks old. I had a few estimates from shops near my house and I was not thrilled with the service I got. Since it wasn't major work I put it off until after the holidays. I know Bruce socially and decided to give his shop a try. All I can say is that I was thrilled from the first phone call with Amanda. from having the rental car waiting for me, and all the paperwork and insurance mumbo jumbo handled.

When I picked my car up it felt like getting into it brand new again( it was much cleaner than when I dropped it off!) I would highly recommend 1042 for their professionalism, craftsmanship and service!

1042 Collision appears very professional, and like me, you may be inclined to bring your vehicle here due to the amazing reviews they have across several platforms. From personal experience I want to warn everyone to rethink bringing their car here. I was rear ended and received some frame damage. The shop pulled the frame, ordered new parts, painted and gave me the car back.

In total the process took about three weeks. Initially the first problems I noticed with their repairs were that the bumper did not line up with the rear quarter panel. There were gaps. My trunk also did not sit at the correct position, being slightly lower than the quarter panel on the driver side. Every time I would shut my trunk, it would slowly etch a line into the clear coat, indicating that the rear deck-lid panel was not lined up correctly either.

Plastic was being marred on the tail light housing due to how the trunk shut. Paint on the trunk was being chipped away due to when it would hit the tail light housing. Interior trunk panels had massive gaps as well and did not sit flush. I left original reviews and the next day received a call from 1042, asking me to take them down and to come by so the car can be fixed properly.

I appreciated the gesture, but unfortunately before I could go back was again rear ended at a traffic light. This time I opted to bring the vehicle to another repair shop, which was incredible, showing me the entire process and keeping me informed of what was going on. Now the worst part about 1042. They did not fix underneath the bumper properly, and there was rust beginning to form on the body panels because they did not use the proper rust prevention during the body panel repair!

I can only imagine how bad this would have gotten left unchecked. For a body shop that had three weeks to fix my car, and got well over $5,000 from insurance to do this, I am disgusted by how terrible of a job they did, and can only imagine how many corners they cut on other people's vehicles in areas that you may never see. Please, do your research and look elsewhere for the sake of your wallet and your car. *I want to stress all photos but the three showing rust were from before the second rear end collision. This was how the car was returned to me by the shop. Also, had I never been rear ended again, the rust would've been left unchecked*

The customer service here is amazing. They know your rights from your insurance company better then we can and they are expert paperwork wizards. The body work done on the car was great and they even did a detail and washed my car too. Great experience and highly recommend to everyone.

Great company! I had my car repaired and you could not tell it was ever worked on. My better half took her Toyota there the other day for a missing clip and they fixed it for her for nothing! Highly recommended.

There is a reason so many people give 1042 5 star reviews. THEY DESERVE IT! Every business should treat their customers. I picked this place based on the reviews and could not be happier. Marie is incredible and made sure that I understood the process. She guided me through dealing with the insurance companies. She really knows her stuff. My 2017 Prius Prime had a small amount of damage from a fender bender but it came back as good as new. Everyone at 1042 was courteous, professional and respectful. The repairs were done expertly and quickly.

A school bus merged into the back of my car, it scraped up and dented the back driver side quarter panel along with the wheel. I drive a 2016 WRX STi and care a lot about keeping my car in excellent condition, so I was pissed to say the least. To start, Marie did a fantastic job coaching me on how to talk to the insurance company. I was able to get everything handled perfectly through Marie.

Feel safe with her on your side.however if you're on the other end of the phone, you're done for. The guys did an awesome job repairing my car. They matched and blended the paint EXTREMELY well, and were able to push out the quarter panel while using minimal body filler. You would never know anything happened. My car was totaled while parked in front of my house by a driver who crashed into it while speeding down my street. Unfortunately, that driver had the same insurance company as me - so you know what that means. I found this shop on yelp because of its good service. And am I glad I did. I called Marie, the owner, at 1042 collision and she advised that I tow the car to her shop. Towing the car to her shop (vs. towing it to a shop on the insurance's preferred list), turned out to be tremendously valuable advice.

It definitely helped when I had to negotiate the claim with the insurance (who was trying to scam me). Marie was an invaluable adviser to me during the whole claim process. She taught me what to lookout for to avoid being taken advantage of by the insurance. With her help, we were able to negotiate fair compensation ($1000 more than what we were initially offered).

When I forgot my ez-pass in the car, Marie and her staff found it and kept it for us. Also, Bruce was very nice - each time I went to the shop to take pictures of the car and retrieve my belongings, he was very pleasant and helpful.

Theres a reason there are so many 5 star reviews for this place, everything is top notch. Hopefully I am not in another accident but if I am I know where Im going. They take care of EVERYTHING! 1042 handled all the dirty work with the insurance company. Its certainly a weight off your shoulders having someone who will fight to help you out, because after an accident the insurance companies are usually looking out for the insurance company and not the customer.

The area that was damaged looks better than new! I cannot overstate how satisfied I am with the quality of work especially considering I have had some distasteful experiences with body shops in the past. Oh, and not to mention that they even touched up some other spots on the car. Definition of going ABOVE and BEYOND! I found this place based on their great reviews and wow they did not dissapoint.

I had a minor fender bender on my way to work. I spoke to a couple of my coworkers if they knew a place since I had no idea where to take it being new in New York. There were a lot of perks going to this place. One, it was very close to work so I was able to do all the necessary paperwork during my lunch break (the meetings never took more than 40 mins -- Marie is on top of it). Two, all I had to do was give the other guy's insurance to Marie and she took care of all the phone calls and billing.

I never spoke to an insurance agent (a total plus!). Lastly, she took care of the rental car. She was very upfront with the Hertz associate (they have been doing business for a long time) and even gave me tips to save money. Overall, it was a great experience. The whole negotiation and getting my car fixed took no more than 10 days. For me, that's a huge benefit especially with never having to deal with the insurance agents.

On top of it all, they even gave me a sweatshirt! I wish that they have a sister company that deals with car maintenance. If they did, I'd sure take my car there for anything it needs!

I cannot say enough about the wonderful service 1042 provides - it sucks that i've had to seek out the services of a collision shop three times in the past four years (my car has had somewhat of a bullseye on it), but I can say with 100% sincerity that Marie & her amazing crew have made the experience as painless as humanly possible From my first conversation with Marie back in 2010 after a blown truck tire hit my car on the LIE, I knew this was the right place to go to - Marie immediately put my mind at ease as she was completely up front about the entire process, made sure I had minimal dealings with the insurance people, and took care of absolutely everything, including having a rental car brought to the shop for me so that I wouldn't have to worry about that.

Through two other unfortunate incidents, the service I received at 1042 has not gone down in any way, they continue to outdo themselves and provide a top notch experience from start to finish - each time my car has been brought back to the great condition it was in before being damaged, perhaps even better Naturally, I hope I never have to deal with them again (praying they buffed out that bullseye!) but if something should happen they will be getting my business for sure!
