This place has scammed my family for the last time. 1st they raised my truck into their lift which creased the roof panel across the span of it. Naturally they failed to mention it at the time of pick up and when I called to let them know he said there is no way it could happen. Only when I went back and he saw the paint from the lift matched exactly what was left on my roof is when they take responsibility for it.

Second is when we were quoted over $1,000 for new front brakes for my wife SUV. I declined and let him know I would do them myself. I was then offered to bring in the parts and they would install them for roughly $100. Apparently they were really hoping for some price gouging as the parts. Just over a year ago I had the front brakes replaced on my truck.

I called them to have them looked at as its got some extreme pulsating going on. Their recommendation after roughly 12,000 +/- miles on the new brakes. The front rotors and pads need be replaced (but don't worry, they will be covered as they wore out prematurely and will be under warranty) but while under there we noticed a stuck caliber, which will cost $750 to replace.

Naturally in good conscience he can't replace their faulty parts without adding on the additional work. Mind you I just spoke with two local/ professional shops who quoted me $200 and $190 to replace a caliber. As for my previous review of, "Love the new management and service! Thanks again!" I should have known it was too good to be true when they have a different manager in there every time I go in. Should have never went back after the first nightmare, so much for trying to support a local business.

My car is seven years old and I have never had any major issues with it until recently. I wasn't sure where to take my car, so I did an online search and came across Jimyz, and I'm glad that I did! I wasn't certain of the issues with my car specifically, but I told them some of the problems that I was experiencing and Jim and his crew meticulously went through to determine the problem. Lisa was absolutely phenomenal every step of the way.

She made sure to call me to either get more information or to let me know the status of things. Lisa is truly wonderful to work with and her friendliness and kindness really made my experience exceptional. Thank you to Jim, Lisa and the rest of the crew. If I ever have car issues again, I won't need to do a search for a mechanic, I will be going straight to Jimyz.

This place is a joke they rip you off tell you lies and expect you to believe it. Maybe they should learn how to b******* before they try bullshiting a bullshiter no stars

I am from out of town, but I was looking to buy a used van. I took the vehicle to Jimyz Automotive and they did a full detailed inspection. They gave me an honest detailed report and advised me not to purchase the van, saving me thousands of dollars. I am so grateful. Lisa the office manager was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, professional, and really took care of us as we waited. I know that if I every find another used car near Streetsboro Ohio, I will be well taken care of.

Jimyz has helped us out on so many occasions! They have always been fair, and everyone I have spoken to is super nice and helpful! I Know that when we take our Tacoma here, it will get taken care of. I'm definitely a repeat customer and I intend to continue to be! Every time we take our truck here the service is quick.

Would not recommend. Jimmy (the owner) refuses to speak to customers face to face or even over the phone despite customer request. He insists on having his secretary answer all questions and concerns now who unfortunately is very rude, unprofessional, and ill informed. I recently bought brand new (supposedly) all season tires that went bad and needed to be replaced at 20,000 miles which is unheard of.

These tires were specifically recommended to me by Jimmy who claimed they were excellent tires. When I brought my car in to discuss with Jimmy he refused to speak to me about it and deferred everything to Lisa the secretary who was less than helpful and kept calling me by the wrong name. When going over other tire options she didn't know the difference between an all season tire and a snow tire and openly told me she's ordered the wrong tires for customers in the past.

They refused to give me a refund for previous faulty tires. Would not recommend. Save your money and go somewhere else. Currently filing a complaint with the BBB. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Very frustrating and disappointing. Big safety concern.

Just moved to area looking for a local auto shop. I didn't have a way home so they took me and picked me up when the car was done. great service and great staff!

You can always depend on Jimyz Automotive to take good care of you. Very trustworthy in all there diagnosis. Extreme quality in there work also. Mixed emotions here. I recently moved to the area and was in need of a new mechanic. They were able to get my car in quickly and had it done same day, the people were friendly and professional, but the price seemed steep. I understand they dont have control when prices go up for parts, but it "feels" like gouging when you see the part online retail for half of what they charged you.

Maybe it was a different quality part, maybe they were marking them up. Next time I will call my old mechanic for a quote first. If I have to drive over an hour for a few hundred dollars of savings, so be it.

When the Toyota dealer seemed unsure of how to fix the exhaust we decided to try here based on reviews from Facebook. They could not be more correct! They were amazing! We got an immediate appointment, excellent work, excellent price. Then right before we were going out of town, we needed something looked at. They got us in same day! Great company! They will get all our business in the future.

I just moved into the Streetsboro neighborhood 4 months ago and needed a local option for car repair. Jimyz Automotive was my first choice because the online reviews were good. They did not disappoint.everything from the online appointment setting to being greeted by Lisa when I entered the shop to the comprehensive vehicle report was fantastic! Very professional and provided pictures of the repairs needed, which I totally appreciated and it made the decision to get the repairs I needed seamless. Thanks so much Jim! Husband took my car in to get my wheel batting fixed. They did a wonderful job and I'm so glad to not hear that grinding clanking sound anymore! As soon as my husband pulled in they knew what it was right away and didn't even have to test drive it. They were exceptionally quick about fixing it also! 10/10 will go back for any car needs

The business treats customers with lots of patience and understanding of a customer's needs. He worked hard to solve some issues with my old vehicle.worked with me to make a good decision on my car. Past work by his mechanics has also been good.

I have never had anything but great service here. It is hard to trust a mechanic because vehicles are hard to understand and it would be very easy to pull the wool over your eyes. I have never felt that way here. They have always given me options and what they feel should be addressed immediately and what can wait. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family including my kids. Simply honest, good people.

Excellent place to take your vehicle. I was nervous to have the issues looked at, but Jim assured me that the job would be taken care of in a timely manner and that the problems would be fixed. They did an excellent job. It's been 4 days since I had work done and the car is still in great condition, so i'd say the did an awesome job. Will definitely be taking my car here again and again.

A friend recommended Jimyz to me about a year ago after I was so unhappy with several other mechanics. I am always very pleased with their service and honesty. Jim is a great guy! Nice place. charging area for your phone snacks and water complimentary. Took our car to get looked at drove it diagnosed the problem what we thought it was. His price was a bit high for what we were hoping for. But friendly Napa affiliated.

They were able to get us in quickly for our first go round with them--needed a door fixed and horn upgrade total cost 700.00.two weeks later we took it in to see if the vehicle was safe to do long distance driving (which we didn't doubt just Wanted to double check) received a call from their shop saying the estimate to fix our car was 2100 plus and was told IT HAD TO BE DONE.

We took to get second opinion and the owner of the shop told us that the car was in GREAT shape.he said needed small work but able to drive long distance and nothing needed to be done immediately. We are mortified.why would this shop say all is well and the other (jimyz) tell us we're had to get items fixed for fear of imminent danger?! Needless to say we will NEVER use their services again and advise everyone we know not to spend their hard earned money there.

I've gone a couple times now, mostly due how quickly they could get me in. Prices after speaking with other shops afterwards are above industry standard and they nickel and dime you. The bill adds up. Was in for very simple routine maintenance and walked out paying 20% more than quoted. Not a huge deal to pay 20% for smaller items, but I wouldn't go there for a costly repair.

Work seems fine (hard to mess up oil changes). I can't speak of actual repairs. They are friendly enough and they seem to be able to get you in quickly, just expect to pay more than listed/quoted pricing.

Good and honest place to take your vehicle for just about any type of repair. They replaced the spark plugs on my 2007 Toyota RAV4 Limited V6 for $200 cheaper than my dealer. I even had them put a custom chrome exhaust tip on my RAV two years ago, no job too small either. Jimyz is an honest business who charges a fair price and does great work. They are very personable and professional to deal with, they really care about their work and the feedback they receive.

I would have given them a 5-star review if they had extended hours. But I understand that Jimmy and his employees deserve a life outside of work by having their weekends and evenings free just like the rest of us. But I would be able to give them more business if they were open later.

Go to these guys! Steve is the nicest, most honest guy. I went in to have a used car checked out before purchase, and not only did they give it a thorough inspection in 30 minutes, they gave me a lot of advice on future maintenance so I would know what to look for and say at my next mechanic (I'm moving, or else I would definitely stay at Jimyz). Even my mom was impressed! I could not rate my experience high enough

Customer service is incredible. However, I had them check out a vehicle before I bought it, said it passed with flying colors, within 1 month I spent well over $1000 in repairs. Obviously, incompetent mechanic.

Whenever i have car problems i take my car to Jimyz. They do a great job at a reasonable price! I recommend them to all my friends and family. I get some pretty nice coupons every month through email.
