Best place to go to for your car needs! They were quick and fast and was very clear with what they were going to do. Hector explain everything to me perfectly and his costumer service was hands down the best I have ever dealt with. 10/10 Recommend and will surely be coming back!

I went to Mall Chevy and was quoted $1,235 for my exhaust system for my 2013 Equinox. They would need the car all day and required a $250 deposit, not to mention I would need a rental so I could get to work. I decided to try Penn Muffler on a Saturday morning (get there early). They had me out of there in a little more than an hour at the cost of $200. Explained everything to me and had me see for myself. Watched them do the whole job. What a fantastic operation and great people working there. I will tell everyone to go there.

I lost a rear brake pad, towed the truck in at 330 PM on a Friday with no appointment and was back on the road at 515 PM. They replaced 2 rotors, brake pads, and one caliper for $580. I thought this was an excellent price and the turnaround time was astonishing.

An actual exhaust shop that KNOWS HOW TO WELD PROPERLY YES! I got two glass packs installed in place of my original mufflers on my crown Victoria. Price was only 160$ pretty cheap from what I've priced at other places. They also even install an extra hanger in place of the old one when most exhaust places I have experienced wouldn't have and didn't.

Best place for muffler and brake repair. Also give you a lifetime warranty. Can't beat that. Just got to get there early. First come, first serve basis. They get busy!

I brought my truck in with an odd request. They met and exceeded my expectations. Good work for a fair price. They are always super busy which is a good thing, it means people like their work. I would highly recommend them if you need any exhaust work done.

Listen, if you are looking for that old school customer service and honesty go no further than Universal. Been working on an 03 Avalanche that use to be a farm truck and sat for a couple of years so you can imagine the work I had ahead of me. Most of the work was done by myself however I am no mechanic by trade. That is where these guys come in. First I gave them my truck and asked what I need to be done to make it pass inspection.

They gave me the list and I went on. They didn't try to sell me any of the work and gave me advise about some of the repairs. Most of the work I did myself however I gave them some of the work and it was done on time and correctly. The truck is still in process however these guys know there stuff and explained everything to me. They even told me what to look out for when making such repairs to save me some money. I mostly worked with Bill (owner) and Chris who are very professional. They treated my rust bucket as it was there own. Believe me, don't go anywhere else.

I've been bringing my automobiles to Penn muffler since the 80's and have no complaints or have ever been disappointed. Their prices and craftsmanship are great. Work us always done in a timely fashion and most of all they stand behind their work.

At the recommendation of the dealership (who shall remain unnamed), I brought my car to Penn Muffler at 8:15 AM for an estimate on addressing an exhaust system leak. The estimate was promptly delivered, was significantly below what I expected, and I was told it could be completed while I waited. I was back on the road by 11:15. Outstanding service. Been going here for twenty-five years with my truck or my wife's vehicle. Breaks every couple years on both, exhaust work a few times. Honest, professional and rea$onable. Good Warranty on their work.

After reading these reviews I thought great let me give them them a call to discuss a custom exhaust on a 2021 Supra. The first gentleman I spoke to on the phone was helpful and very polite. So why I was in the area the following day I decided to stop in so I could get a more exact quote as instructed by the first guy I spoke to on the phone. This is where my 1 star comes from.

I walk in to a grumpy ass old man sitting at the counter who doesn't even greet me until I stand in front of the window for a minute. Then in the same grumpy attitude address me. I explain I called yesterday and how I had talked to someone previously and because I couldn't remember the name shrugs me off as I'm trying to explain the job. "Ok sorry I can't remember his name but I did speak to a gentlemen here about the job" with out saying anything slides a pink pad and pen through the window.

Fill this out it'll be a hour atleast 4 ahead of you. I say just for a quick estimate if you guys can do the job? Yea - his one word answer. Well I didn't Have a hour to wait before it even gets put on a lift. So I pushed the pad back and said I'll have to come back. Then this guy rudely says well on a day you have the time then come back. Ludicrous response to ever address a customer in that tone.

You never know what your customers day or time or work is. I own a business and would fire one of my employees for addressing a client that way and at the same time losing out on a decently expensive job. I'd never trust my car being cared for the way it should after dealing with this guys attitude. So instead I'll take my custom single Exit Supra job and also had another job of qtp cut outs and custom exhaust install on a Maserati else where.

I can't say anything about their work because I never made it that far but no way in hell am I'm leaving one of my vehicles with a company who treated me the way I was. Not willing to take a chance on that same crappy attitude going into the handling of a brand new car that should be treated with care.

I needed a specific repair to my aftermarket exhaust system that every shop around me quoted insane pricing for a relatively easy job. Found Penn Muffler on Yelp and decided to take my car there, best decision I could have made. Did not even have to make an appointment - same day repair and only took about 45 minutes. Very reasonable pricing, great work, super friendly staff & technicians. Will be returning back for future service!

I went here on the advice of my mechanic. They are efficient, reasonable and thorough. I was shown the problem areas under my car and they explained the work to be done (flex pipe, flange, welding) and the cost. After a short wait, they brought me back out to see the completed work. What a great experience. And my car is so quiet now!

I tried to hit 5 stars but would only show 4. I was told at a Jiffy Lube that all of my brakes were metal to metal and that I would be in danger if I left the shop and drove home. Knowing that I only use Penn for my brake work, I took a gamble and drove to Pennsauken for them to inspect. They removed all four of my tires. called me into the service area to show me that I had more tha 50% left all the way around!

They put my tires back on and told me to have a great day. No bill. no fee! Fast forward 14 months later I just changed out my front brakes because Joe informed me that I still had time for the rear brakes. It would have been so easy for them to have told me that I needed brakes the first visit. but they didn't! And it would be easy to tell me I needed rear brakes the second time. again they did not!

This is a HONEST shop not out to rip you off or do unnecessary repair work! While there a woman came in because she heard a noise while driving. They said they would diagnose her vehicle but by law she was covered under her warranty from the dealer. The woman called the dealership and they said it would be $149. for her to bring it in. She relayed what she was told about a NJ law and after a few minutes on hold they told her to come over with no fee. Women. you are safe here! Lol. They won't take advantage of your lack of auto repair knowledge! Thank you Joe and Dave and to all the mechanics who are fantastic!

The people that work here were incredibly polite and knowledgeable about auto repairs. There is a big waiting room with comfy chairs. It's definitely not a dark dingy auto shop. When I dropped off my truck the service writer was was very welcoming and pleasant. They called with an estimate in a timely manner, explained all the repairs and answered my questions about them.

They let me know about when to expect the work to be done. And called me as soon as it was done. The estimated was right on point. They have convenient hours. I would definitely recommend PENN MUFFLER for quality affordable auto repairs.

I stopped by Penn Muffler on a Saturday morning because my mechanic recommended them highly for any muffler/exhaust work. My exhaust pipe had a leak that needed to be welded/replaced. The staff was friendly, helpful, and slotted me in nearly-immediately for the evaluation (and eventual repair). They went over their diagnosis (not pushy, and reasonably-priced) with me, and I told them to proceed with replacing 2 pieces of my exhaust pipe.

The tech estimated an hour & fifteen minutes. All of the other customers in the waiting room seemed pleased and friendly with the service, just a nice indicator of a quality establishment. Noticing interactions between the staff & customers (including on the phone), they were always helpful, patient, and friendly. My SUV only took an hour to fix, and the repairs were very reasonable. Hopefully I won't have any future issues. but if I do, I'll be glad that I can use Penn Muffler to help me out!

I took my classic car, a 1971 Skylark Convertible in for a dual exhaust system. Rick and his team did a great job. I am thoroughly satisfied with the level of service and quality of the system that they installed for me.

I've been going here for at least the last 10 years. Pricing for service is always good, can't say I've ever been surprised. The staff is always knowledgeable and professional, i've never had a problem with any of the work that they performed on any of my vehicles, work always performs in a timely professional manner, Penn Muffler will even install customer supplied parts, I highly recommend these guys, this is the only place I take my car to, if they can't fix the problem they will recommend someone who can. This is why I give these guys five stars.
