I have used Custom Car Care to care for my family's stable of Hondas for the past twenty years. Brady, the owner, is honest, very knowledgeable about Hondas. and more interested in keeping my Hondas running than in extracting the last ounce of profit from me. I'm a retired car buff. I like Hondas, but I keep buying good used Hondas (I have Brady check them first) because I trust his mechanics at Custom Car Care to do what is required to keep them running.
Currently CCC maintains our 2005 Acura TSX, 2011 Honda Accord, and 2014 Honda Pilot. They also take care of my daughter's 2012 Odyssey. Brady's competence, integrity, and friendliness, as well as that of his staff, make this an easy recommendation.

Since finding Custom Car Care we don't take our vehicles anywhere else. They do great work, the prices are fair, and most importantly they are very honest. Would highly recommend them. When we took our Odyssey to the Honda dealership for a recall repair, they performed their "35 point inspection" and said we needed about $4K worth of work, including replacing a broken motor mount. We took the car to Custom Car Care and they said that only about $300 of the things identified by the dealership were legit.

First time customer but will have all of my vehicles serviced here from now on. I had a problem with the starter on my 2006 Tundra. After checking with the dealer and another car shop, I decided to have Custom Car Care do the repair. When I went to pick my truck up, the truck had a problem starting! Brady kept the truck to re-examine what the problem was.
It turned out they received a bad starter. Brady did not hesitate to get another starter and have the work re-done. This is not an easy repair and it was done quickly and professionally.

I had a very bad experience with custom car care of Yorktown I called them to let them know what I was working with and they told me to bring it down that they would have no problems working on it so I canceled another appointment with another shop I had because they told me that they would be able to do it once I got the car towed up there I went into the office to try to explain what was going on and the older man behind the counter I'm assuming he was the owner by his bitter attitude seem to have no interest to hear what I had to say he did not want to listen.
When I tried to explain to him the key ignition was a little iffy and you had to play with it to get it to turn the key I explain to him that I wanted to be there when they first started messing with it so that I can show them a few things he said that that would not be necessary 20 minutes later I got a phone call said that they did not want to work with it because they could not simply turn the key over they never even popped the hood and never once asked me to help them and as soon as they seen the car and my ethnicity things were completely different so then I had to pay to get the car towed back to my house I do not recommend this place very poor customer service lack of work, motivation and communication definitely not a place I would recommend for anybody definitely not a performance shop they were working on a Honda odyssey so it's more like a regular basic shop do not take your car here if you need performance work or anything done. Biggest waste of money and worst Shop I've ever been to

First time customer, but it won't be the last time! After installing coilovers and rear control arms in my 2020 WRX, I immediately scheduled an appointment for an alignment. They got my car into the shop within 5 minutes after checking in. Once the initial alignment check was done, Brady showed me the results and asked me how I wanted the car set up.
I gave him my desired specs and they delivered. It took a couple hours to finish the job, but I'm glad they took their time instead of just getting it "within factory spec" like other big-name shops do. I left the next day on a week-long, 800-mile road trip and the car handled nicely. No pulling, no vibrations, and no abnormal tire wear. Overall, great friendly service and excellent results.

Honest, thorough, friendly, skilled, respectable, knowledgeable, and humble are words that I would describe Brady, Custom Car Care and all of the mechanics! A very clean nice waiting area with coffee and drinks along with a tv. You are immediately greeted with friendly staff. They go the extra mile to make sure you and your car are taken care of. I would highly recommend this shop for your next service or repair!

I went to Brady's after my son in law recommended Custom Car Care. I had taken my Toyota twice to the Toyota dealer because the vsc light and engine light kept coming on. Toyota told me that they couldn't find the issue and it was safe to drive the car with the above lights on. One trip to Custom car care who resolved the issue immediately.faulty gas cap!

Custom Car Care is great! It is so refreshing to see a business run with integrity, honesty, and care for the customer. Brady, in particular, is by far the most honest guy I've ever dealt with in 6 different states over my military career. Brady is honest and fair. His mechanics are very solid and do great work.

Took a couple of weeks to schedule the diagnostics for my airbag. Unclear how long diagnostics were going to take and NO price estimate for diagnostics. Quote on the part was 4 times what the part costs online and quote on the labor was $450 for 20min of work. Ended up paying $90 for what a Google search had already told me. Ridiculous

I heard good things about this shop, my brother takes his vehicle here. My parents mechanic of 20+ years passed away, so they are looking for a new trustworthy mechanic that works on Acura and Lexus. So I called to inquire about pricing to change out a part. The receptionist stated that "No pricing is given over the phone". Ok I heard of some shops doing that in the 90's but ok no problem.
I let her know that I'll be bringing the part and not a used one, she said "The policy is you can't provide your own part". Now this is where I was floored because the dealer will let you bring your part, they are not responsible if the part doesn't work or should fail. So what's the problem are they marking parts up that much and they do not want to miss out on any extra money.
I guess next time I'm in town I'll go in person and speak with the decision maker. Just trying to find my parents a good shop other than the dealer that they can build a longtime relationship with.

Had my old car serviced here numerous times between 2002 and 2007/2008. The service was excellent and pricing was very reasonable, maybe below market for some services at the time. I remember Brady talking to me directly about my car, and remember his courteous wife (?) who handled the front desk duties. I would continue going here if I still lived in this area.

Brady Woodell and the master mechanics at Custom Car Care have kept my car running strong. She has 187K and is 12 years old. I have taken my car here for the majority of my car's existence. Very clean. very knowledgeable and most importantly professional. If you own a Nissan or Honda (Acura, Infiniti also) and live on the Peninsula, have your vehicle serviced here.
