For a quarter of a century, Watkinsville Service Center has been servicing cars and trucks in Oconee County, but beyond just building a successful business, owners Darcy and Kathy Lapointe have also been building lifelong relationships with their customers. On any given day, the parking lot outside of Watkinsville Service Center is full of cars and trucks waiting to be serviced, and the front lobby of the business is often crowded with customers, many of whom will stay for a while to chat.Though Watkinsville Service Center is certainly bigger now, it's not entirely different from the Texaco station on Main Street where Darcy and Kathy got their start in July of 1991.

The folks here were prompt, courteous, took time to explain the problem and posed a possible solution which, if it works would save considerable dollars. Have had to take both my vehicle and wife's vehicle here several times for various repairs. Always had professional communication with their mechanics. They have been up front and honest about what aftermarket parts they personally use and what aftermarket products they try to avoid. Price has always been fair. Never had any complaints with the work they've done. Most recent repair was one of the fastest turnarounds (~1/2 day), mainly because they did have parts in house.

I've been bringing my car here for 20 years. They are more like family than just a service center to me and consistently go above and beyond. They always thoroughly explain the problem and then tell me all my options. As a single woman, who knows nothing about cars, I truly appreciate all their efforts to keep my car up and running without ever trying to sell me things that I don't need. They are by far the best service center I've ever had, and I feel grateful to have them!
