Cannot thank the guys at Byrd enough! My AC was blowing hot air for months, and with TX summer approaching it was really getting unbearable:(. These are super nice and trustworthy people! Called me multiple times to update me on what was going on with my car. They even let me know what else would need fixing soon, and I will definitely be coming back to them for that! Firstly, Byrd Automotive was recommended to me by another auto shop owner, if that tells you anything. I went in with steering and suspension issues (it was difficult to drive in a straight line). They inspected the car and diagnosed it in a timely manner and told me what parts I needed to replace and what to expect. They didn't charge me for this at all!

I sourced my own parts online and the car was fixed by the end of the day. I never thought a major repair would be this easy. I would absolutely recommend going here for your auto needs.

Byrd automotive was so helpful. They went above and beyond to help me figure out what was wrong with my car. They worked with my warranty and made sure I got all the care I needed fast and without any hassle. I trust them completely.

I drive a hybrid and finding a shop that can work on these and have experience with them is a little difficult. Not only did they have the necessary experience and diagnostic machine, they were very quick with the repair and had it back within a couple days. The fact that the repairs weren't ridiculous in price and they didn't talk to me like I'm an idiot also impressed me enough to be a repeat customer.

Fantastic service that can be trusted. The only reason I give 5 stars is because 10 wasn't an option. From the time I called to set the appointment to have my vehicle looked at, to the time I drove off with it repaired I was treated with respect. Everything that was wrong was explained to me why & how. Pictures were taken to show me the broken parts & the new parts installed & how to properly maintain in the future.

In these days & times one often feels as if everyone has no time to do a good job or care to do a thorough job, just give me your money & get out. Not at Byrd Automotive. They even picked me up at home when my vehicle was ready. I highly recommend Byrd Automotive to anyone needing their vehicle r we paired or maintenance performed. Moved to The Woodlands over 10 years ago. Byrds Auto was recommended then and we have utilized them ever since. Always helpful, timely, and priced reasonably. Have never had a "surprised" bill. They have always gone out of their way to be helpful. This service was no different. Difficult to rate this business. I received an online quote and was pleasantly surprised, it was a very reasonable charge. Apparently they did not actually have an appointment time but rather just asked me to bring it in and it would be a 5-6 hour job that may roll over to the next day. So far I was not concerned and would have given a better rating.

Unfortunately that is all the good news. I never got a call about the work progress or completion. When I reached out to them they suddenly had everything ready. The web site states they provide discounts to veterans and medical workers, they refused to honor the coupon. Then my car had leftover parts left on the floor and back dash. This made me wonder where these went and why they were not used. I would be hard pressed to use them again.

I've found them to be very reliable and conservative in how they addressed my car problems. With an older car and limited budget and facing a major repair bill they worked hard to save me money. Only downside is that others have had the same positive experience and as a result, at least at this moment, they have so much work that it may take longer to get to your car. They're reliable, helpful and friendly. Too bad because of Covid there aren't the fresh cookies anymore. You might want to take the dog home with also.

I made an appointment and dropped my car off, they asked me just a couple of questions and then I left with a friend for lunch. They called me when they completed running the appropriate tests on my car, just a couple of hours later. The test results were clearly explained to me in a way I could understand. I wasn't charged any money for the time they spent on my car. Turns out the repairs I need are way out of my budget so I did not get the work done but if my situation were different I would definitely trust them to do a great, quick job on repairing my vehicle.

I have nothing but high praise for Byrd Automotive. Tim and Harvey were incredibly helpful and got my truck running great. Three things set Byrd Automotive apart for me: First, they were straightforward about the repairs that I needed vs. the repairs that I could have. They quoted me for all sorts of services that could be done, but when I asked, "What do I need to get done?" I got an honest answer.

They could have made more money by not telling the truth, but they showed integrity that was much appreciated. Second, they fixed a door issue on my truck that I had not asked for and I was not charged for. They went above and beyond when they didn't have to. Finally, I got my truck back cleaner than it's been in years. The hand wash was a very nice touch.

Great service and extremely friendly. I haven't had the best luck choosing mechanics shops due to overpricing or fixing the issue only to need repairing again. I explained what I needed and Mr John was very patient and helpful. I'd previously took my car to the dealership and was priced over $300. I paid less than $200 here and was able to use the online coupon for the month.

I will definitely come back for oil change soon. Absolutely, I would recommend these guys. Very professional and my vehicle was done in less than an hour with a 4 year warranty! You can't beat that! Also, the cute, fluffy dog was an added bonus
