I suffered an unrepairable flat while visiting the area, 700 miles from home. Got the donut on to get us around town until I could get it replaced (not driving 700+ miles on the interstate on a donut tire). My tires were pretty new with less than 5000 miles on them. As a longtime owner of an AWD vehicle I KNOW you are ideally supposed to replace tires as a set.

I also know the reasons for that and that it is accepted that you can do one pair if the tread depth of the new tires is within 4/32 of an inch of the older pair, you will probably be okay. (You can actually even pay some shops to shave down the new tires to match for about $25-50). I had the woman who answered the door phone my tire size and speed rating.

She quoted me a price of around $250 per tire AND she adamantly refused to install anything less than 4 tires. So, a simple flat was going to cost me $1,000. Nope. Nope. Nope. Not going to let you rip me off. I talked to another area chain tire store. They did give a disclaimer about ideally replacing all 4, but were fine with me orally acknowledging that I was aware of the risk.

I had them measure the tread depth on the rear tires that I was going to keep. The difference between those and the new tires? 1/32nd. Basically, it worked out as if I had rotated a less worn pair of tires from the rear to the front. I got two new suitable tires for a shade under $300. DO NOT USE this Discount Tire Location.

I've been bringing my car to Direct Tire in Watertown for years and am always impressed with their level of service. I find their pricing to be incredibly fair, they have great communication and they seem to do a great job of retaining team members. I also love how they do winter tire changeovers and wheel storage. Recently Bob one of the managers I believe, helped me out to get my winter wheels ready and bagged up on very short notice. I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend!

Very professional and very safe with regard to health protocols. I just got a new set of wheels and snow tires for a new car. The first set of wheels fit, but they were not perfect, the clearance wasn't up to Direct Tire standards. Would I have ever known? Never, but that didn't matter to them at Direct. They had me pick up the car with my original wheels and they got me a different set of wheels that didn't have any clearance issues.

It was a small inconvenience to have to come back again but that is nothing compared to the confidence I have in knowing that they did everything to make my car safe and worry free to drive. Plus the new wheels look better, too! Best service anywhere.

Service was done quickly and with a smile. I waited in the waiting room and heard example after example of professional and friendly service from all the representatives, especially a guy named Rick. Repair was done within 45 minutes. Rick took the time to explain clearly what was going on and there was no attempt to upsell me as I have experienced at other tire dealers. I'll definitely go back.

Over the last couple of years, I have bought 3 sets of tires from Direct Tire for both of my cars and have gotten very competitive prices. They are the only ones I've found that provide free tire rotation and snow tire changes. They also store tires between seasons. They have also done brake work at reasonable prices - much less than the dealership quotes. They were the only place that could solve my brake issue with my 10 year old Honda pilot. The team in the office is great and have treated me really well.

Direct Tire never disappoints. The people and the service are friendly, professional and honest. A slow leak in one of my run flat tires was the reason for my most recent visit. Based upon research, I fully expected Direct Tire to inform me that run flat tires cannot be repaired and that I would need one or two new tires. I was therefore happily surprised when I received the call from Direct Tire letting me know that they removed a nail from the tire, fixed the leak and that the tire was good to go. All for $35!
