Ok folks.this is going to be a long review. Trust me, it's worth reading. I've owned countless vehicles in my lifetime and something both my husband and I pride ourselves on, is with maintaining loyalty to a dealership. For example, once we've built a comfort level with an auto dealer, we tend to return to that dealer for our future purchases. Yes, I know what you're probably thinking, we're "old school" and you're right; However, this methodology has worked very well for us, until now. Recently, we were in the market for another car.
We wanted to look for a solid car with excellent safety features. So, naturally, we returned to our VW dealership first as they were supposedly holding a vehicle for us to review. When we arrived, the car we were waiting to see wasn't there and the salesperson was trying to sell us a completely different vehicle (at a higher price point, of course). Needless to say, we left the dealership frustrated and disappointed. Then, we decided to stop by Carshop.
Our neighbor recommended CarShop (formerly CarSense). We had never been there before. To sum up the experience in a word, WOW! The GM at CarShop, Jason, introduced us to Torie Savior (a perfect last name because he was our savior that day!). We explained to Torie what we were looking for in a vehicle and he reviewed how CarShop works. Torie showed us a number of vehicles that matched our price point and specs.
Before we knew it, we were test driving the car we ended up purchasing. For us, it was a little easy. We already knew what make, model, trim level and price we were willing to spend. CarShop's no-haggle pricing makes life SO easy. You're not dealing with a sales person working on commission. And we saw that commission amount when going from a dealer to CarShop.again we were WOWED!
To sum up my review, would I recommend CarShop? Heck ya! In a heartbeat! And the person who helped us, Torie, too! Then again, I'd be willing to bet everyone there is probably pretty awesome.

STAY AWAY! We bought a 2017 Honda Pilot from CarSense in January 2021. There were scratches on the vehicle and CarSense said they would get them out as part of their No Scratches guarantee. We live 45 minutes away and had to take a day off work to come down and drop the car off for this work as they do not have loaner cars to give out when doing service. Whatever. Let's just get this done.
When we got the car home in the sunlight the next day all of the scratches still existed. I used to do detail work and it was clear they just slapped a whole bunch of wax on the scratches to try and hide. Clear as day, all still there. Here's where it gets so much worse- The Fuel Emissions light came on prior to the 'detail' appointment.
We asked that they look into while it was in the shop. Service rep claims likely just a computer error. To be safe we took to Honda. Turns out it was the Fuel Injector. Okay, if that's it I can live, it's covered under warranty. That wasn't just it. I know the service guy at Honda and had him do a look over at the car while it was there and we ended up needing the following: -All new brakes - pads and resurfacing - Brakes were at a 3. CarSense disputes this.
No way CarSense- we barely drove the car in the 1 month of ownership. --2 filters needed replacing -Serpentine belt worn and cracked needed replacing -Brake fluid low & discolored- needed replacing -Transmission Fluid showed no history of being changed - needed drained & filled -Rear diff fluid needed to be drained and filled -Front heated seat never worked - replaced heater pad in seat Grand Total: $1,681.97 Called CarSense to make this right. Emailed them a copy of the invoice from the work done at Honday.
They wouldn't pay for a dime of work. Unbelievable. They complained that I didn't take the car to them. Why would I trust them to do major work if they couldn't even address a few scratches on the car? Guy said well you should've given us a second chance. CarSense said they wouldn't cover any of the issues because they say I got scammed from Honda.
Only scam here is CarSense. What a joke. NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM. UPDATE: Still nothing from CarSense/CarShop. Their GM called me as the reviews I've left got their attention. Still offered zero solution to all of these problems. Continued to question why I didn't take the car back to them. I explained A.) that I didn't trust their shop's ability to do any work as they couldn't even fix the scratches on my car and B.) that it was a complete inconvenience for me and my wife to both take off work to drive two cars down there to leave the SUV with them.
He mentioned just using one of their loaner cars. I find this hilarious as we asked about getting a loaner twice- once from our sales rep Tim and the other time asked the service rep while booking the detail work. both employees said they don't have loaner vehicles. What a complete disaster of a dealership and leadership team. Tons of miscommunications, and the complete lack of standing by their product is simply astounding. Not to mention the horrendous excuse of a body shop that can't fulfill their dealership promise of no scratches, dings, or dents!.

Don't bother buying a car from Carsense. Bought a car in 2016. Spent over 3K on their top of the line warranty. Immediately had headlamp issues. Took the car back to Carsense, who refused to do anything about it because the car was still under the auto dealer warranty. The dealer did nothing either. Now the headlamp assembly is falling apart. Conveniently the top of the line warranty from Carsense won't cover the cost of a new headlamp assembly.
Total rip off! A truly Christian company would stand behind the products they sold. Buyer beware! UPDATE: After posting my reviews on social media, the service manager called and informed me that they would be willing to pay for half the cost of the headlamp assembly. They also provided a loaner car while waiting for the repair to finish. This type of service, if offered immediately, would absolutely be considered five stars.

Torie was great and made the whole experience pleasant and flawless. Started the paperwork for my vehicle I purchased by text and email this past Wednesday afternoon and evening. Pulled into the dealership on Friday with my two trade ins and received a decent amount for both. Within an hour and a half I was on my way home with my vehicle. Thank you again Torie!

Bought a used car here during the pandemic and had an incredibly easy time with it. Aaron Z. was amazing as we worked via text to find a car that would work with my budget. This was my first time buying a car, and Aaron was able to give me suggestions to find the best option available. He even took the time to explain terms that I didn't understand. I'm very satisfied with the car itself. It had one minor issue with a burnt out turn signal bulb, but I was given a waiver for a free fix. Definitely recommended!

Do not come here, they make you wait like 2 hours when they tell you to wait for only 30-40 minutes, like don't tell me to wait for a few when you're going to make me wait for longer. I'm seriously pissed and the workers don't seem to care about anything since they all are sitting around and just talking to each other, they are just all twiddling their thumbs and just staring at each other. There's also another dude who just screams on his phone and just stares at everyone. like uh we're all hoping you'd shut the hell up.
These dudes here all look at girls like we're dumb, and doesn't treat us with the respect that guys get and that's fricking rude. Just because girls don't know that much about cars doesn't mean you try and sell dumb shit to us more that means you should do your job and explain the shit that's happening with our cars better.
Like why do you work at a car service shop if you're not going to help out at all? Makes no sense. There's also a worker who just stares at you like you're not being discreet your being weird af (short guy with glasses)

I had an amazing experience with Carsense. Andrew Keeble the Sales Consultant was amazing! He got the cars I wanted to check, he was able to listen very carefully about what I wanted and guided me during the buying process. I got a Nissan Rouge 2016 with only 12 500 miles! The car looks like new. I am extremely happy with my purchase and experience at the store. Ask for Andrew Keeble when you go to the store! I want you to have the same experience I had.

My wife was in need of a new car because her car was totaled. We visited many car dealers Nissan, Toyota, Hyundai. All were equally nice all were very accommodating, but It is 2020 in this day and age of transparency I find it hard to believe that the prices are not clearly marked on the vehicles. We visited Car Sense late on a Saturday evening and we were greeted by Aaron Ziegler. Aaron took us inside told us a little bit about Car Sense and we preceded to find the vehicle my wife was interested in and we test drove them.
The cars were great and Aaron was even better. Aaron explained everything to my wife. All the warranty options etc. We bought an awesome 2017 BMW X1. The car was priced below the Kelly Bluebook value. Aaron helped us with a great interest rate, Took us over introduced us to the service manager. Aaron Ziegler is awesome and when I need a car I will be buying from Car sense and Aaron Ziegler

I only have positive things to say about CarSense. I have purchased a total of two cars from CarSense now. My first car I purchased back in 2012 from CarSense in Chester Springs. I also referred my boyfriend to CarSense in Hatfield earlier this year and I believe Matt helped him. His car had an AC leak that kept having to be fixed, but after the third time they replaced the whole AC condenser- no charge for my boyfriend.
I had my first car serviced at CarSense in Hatfield which ended up being the best decision for me. Eric, Kurt, and David from service were always so helpful with my detailed questions and concerns over the years. They were always honest and upfront with me about repair costs, etc. I love the fact CarSense has coupons available for services. All the repairs were done in a timely manner.
The water pump in my first car went in the first year or two and I didn't have to pay a dime to have it replaced. I was never charged extra for asking the service department to check out a specific concern or sound I noticed anytime in the last 7 years. My car started to burn excessive oil in the last year which caused the Engine for Lifetime Guarantee process to begin through Castrol Oil, even though the oil burning was a known issue in all of the same year, make, and model cars. Sadly, before I could finish up with the oil burning claim, someone was either not paying attention or was intoxicated and hit my parked car in a parking lot a few weeks ago.
The person hit my car so hard, that they totaled it, which put me in a position where I had to get another car. The first place I went to look for my next car was CarSense, of course! I reached out for help online from CarSense Hatfield's website. Within the hour I received a personal email and a text message answering the questions I had asked.
This is where I was first introduced to Michael Moffa! I made an appointment to come in to meet him at the Hatfield location and test drive a few cars I was interested in. Michael was down to earth and extremely knowledgeable with the cars I looked at. Michael even had the mechanics stop working on a newly arrived Audi and take it down from the lift so I could check it out.
He did not feel like a salesman to me at all. He felt more like a family friend! He was not pushy whatsoever. Michael spent numerous hours in total answering all of my detailed questions in person/over the phone, looking into the numerous cars I was interested in, and going to CarSense on his only day off to see if my car would be ready for me the next day.
He wanted to make sure everything was perfect for me, that I felt 100% comfortable, and that he answered all my questions before having me sign any papers. I would recommend CarSense to anyone, especially to Michael Moffa! If you're looking for a practically new car with lower mileage and don't want to deal with commissioned salesmen at traditional dealerships, definitely check out CarSense! You also can't beat the extended warranties they have!

I took my Ford Escape to Car Sense in Hatfield for an oil change and to change the windshield wiper blades. The tech left the wiper blades on the work bench and forgot to replace them. The next day, when there was light, I saw that the fiber splash guard was hanging down and loose. I went to Auto Zone to get the replacement blades and see if they had the correct fasteners.
They found that three of the bolts that held the piece in place were missing. It wasn't torn through, either the bolts were never tightened or were never reinstalled from my previous service. Very dissatisfied.

Just purchased my new 2012 Nissan Murano here today & I love it! My brother in law actually just got is car here & recommended that I check them out. The staff was so courteous & welcoming. I had the pleasure of meeting Matt! He made the whole process so easy for me, he really helped me to get a great car at a price that I could afford! I definitely recommend using Matt when looking for your next car or truck!

I have purchased over 15 cars from about 10 dealerships, all were akin to getting a root canal. This was the best experience of all of them, hands down. None of this, let me go ask my manager, come back and meet you half way, shady sales tactics. The shopped my load and got me a rate better than my credit union rate. My salesperson came in on his day off to complete the transaction. Overall great experience. Ask for Nick Brander.

I went to CarSense with the intention of test driving a few vehicles to see what the best fit for me would be. I was working with Michael Moffa, and he was more interested in how much money I'd be putting down than finding a vehicle to fit my needs. He let me test drive only one vehicle, rather than multiple for comparison. He was extremely condescending to me.
I will not be returning to any CarSense location ever again if this is how they treat their customers. A few days later he had the nerve to text me and ask if I was still interested in a vehicle that I was clear I was not interested in (it had a 2.5L engine, I was interested in a 2.0L turbo).

I still think I got a good deal on a vehicle here last year but had a horrible experience on service this week. I needed a new battery today and was told it would be a least a week until they could get me in (I tried 2 locations). Just glad I called is either location I called is a good hour away I understand bad weather like today really makes it difficult for scheduling Service at a car dealership but all I needed to do was replace a battery not have them rebuild my engine!
Clearly they could've fit me in. Sounds like a really bad scheduling/management. Go there if you want an honest deal on a used vehicle where tracking it's history is particularly important but clearly don't count on them for service I wound up buying a battery from a dealer that got me in the same day and three hours later I was done

Working with Jared, Bumper & the rest of the CarSense Hatfield Team was one of the best car buying experience I ever had. I am one to spend an entire day at a dealership negotiating price. Obviously, I did not with CarSense. Initially I was hesitant but was surprised (pleasantly) that I really didn't feel the need to do so. You get a lot from CarSense with your vehicle purchase, from a great selection of quality vehicles, finance options, and additional services that many other dealers either do not offer, or over charge the customer.
You have a Team of Professional's at the Hatfield location that understand customer focus & satisfaction are paramount to their success. Their goal is to get it right & make sure their customers are happy. They are not in it for the quick buck but rather building a long-term relationship with their clients. Plus, their vehicles are priced competitively & are of very high quality. I would give 10 Stars if I could. Thanks again Jared, Bumper & Hatfield Team for the great experience and service!
