Nice staff, but terrible service/ability to fix an AC issue that was not a simple recharge. Slightly over a year ago, I had my vehicle at the 96th Street location for over a week while they tried to figure out an AC issue. Eventually they just replaced the compressor (with a remanufactured unit, I later learned) and that seemed to work somewhat sporadically over the next year.

Then the AC would work for 2 minutes, then stop. I recently brought it back in, the tech gave it a recharge and said it was good to go. "Blows ice cold!" they said. Well of course it did, for about 2 minutes just like before. They clearly didn't even try to test things to make sure it didn't have the exact same issue I brought it in with. So they said to bring it back in and they'll investigate further.

Well that's a big NOPE. I investigated the symptoms myself and guessed it was a bad expansion valve, which I cannot get to on my own. So I took it to a different shop and they found that the AC system had way too much oil from the prior install. The system would short cycle, easily heard by any sensible tech. This should have been considered at diagnosis and traced to find that the expansion valve was malfunctioning (stopped up from too much oil) causing pressures to shut the system down and short-cycling the compressor and burning up the clutch. Lots of wasted time and money on this one. AVOID

I was able to make an appointment and get my brakes checked same day. Great customer service and they didn't try to sell my anything I wasnt there for. Will use them for any future car needs. Thanks!

Out of town Had a flat when no one else could get me in they got me back on the road fast and back to my day. Extremely professional great customer service and great technicians. Old bad reviews are from previous leadership. If your in the area give them a look.

Tire popped a few weeks ago from a child-eating sized pothole late Saturday night. While waiting for the tow truck I looked on Monro's website and Google and both listed this business to be open Sunday 9am-5pm- score! Had the tow vehicle drop my car off and patiently waited. This being brand new to me car of less than a month I was lucky to have chosen tire/wheel protection, when I called the protection company Sunday mid morning I was told to call the shop and have them submit documentation and they would authorize.

I called Monro 4 times- no answer. Early afternoon came and went and still no return call so I had a friend give me a ride and guess what? I arrived and they were CLOSED. I called out of work Monday and called Monro again mid-morning and told them exactly what they had to do to authorize any work needed. Time went by and after 3pm with their 6pm closing window rapidly approaching I again called - they stated they had submitted everything and were waiting on my protection company.

After playing telephone between Monro and my protection company (4 additional calls to each) Monro had never submitted any documentation through the whole day and had just been sitting on my car. At 6:15pm I was still trying to expedite this process and found out they had finally submitted the proper documents (literally just stating what was wrong with the tires, justifying new ones needing to be used, and the cost) my protection company took less than 15 minutes to review and authorize work. Well- too little too late.

I was forced to call out of work again for Tuesday. Overall new tires were placed, I picked up my car mid-afternoon with no chance of going into work. Had I known they were not open on Sunday like their website and Google says I'd have taken my car to the 3 other tire places that are actually open on Sunday.

The entire crew was wonderful. My car needed an unusual part and Amanda owked miracles finding it and getting it as quickly as possible.

We were in a bind trying to get to our brakes checked before heading out on a road trip. After making an appointment with Meineke only to be told "we didn't have a real appointment" when we showed up, we came to Monro. Monro was so kind, so quick and found the issue within 5 minutes. Don't go to the big guys like Meineke, head to Monro for real customer service.

This place has always been a hit or miss. I no longer go here cause the fear of being gouged out of money is too strong with me after last visit. I came here to get some repairs with my car and was excited to drive it home. But the next day completely my car was dead and i couldnt lift the hood. I called and was immediately able to get my car towed and fixed but it was a bit suspicious on how some of these parts were broken when previously worked without a hitch.

Also weird ways to pay like mechanics in cash instead of the front desk with card. Last visit i had here was to get my ac fixed and was Quoted a 900 dollar fix, went to a different mechanic place and got a fix for 100 dollars and has worked ever since. Some parts monro has fixed for me tho have worked since besides my alternator.

Love the transparency, the feel of integrity and the good ethical vibe from the staff. Had to bring fleet vehicle in for revision of loud muffler that another company spoiled. Monro completed the job. Completely satisfied. 4 stars is only because all companies can get better in some areas at all times, noone is perfect.

Really great place! Brought my car in to get looked at and they gave me a free assessment of what my problem was. Price was a little steep for getting the repairs they suggested though. Only giving it 4 stars because when I got ahold of the guy who typically works on my car, they'd overlooked one big problem that needed to be fixed ASAP during their assessment.

I took my car in for brakes and alignment. I didn't realize they serviced air conditioning until I saw a sign, so I asked them to fix my AC as well. Kelly was super helpful and communicated with about some issues they were having with the AC. Justin stayed late to help get my car done so I would have it the next day. I'm telling you, these are great people who are focused on top notch customer service. Plus they did great fixing my car (the air is ice cold) and at a great price. A+++

Made appointment for alignment. No alignment was done, just tires balanced. Afterward car pulled to the left the same as it did when I dropped it off. I really liked the people there; the service, not at all.

Kelly who works in the office is absolutely wonderful. Customer service is #1 priority, anyone that says different is just being difficult. I will also come here to have my truck serviced. Thanks Monroe Auto Service Center!

While I was able to get in quickly, for breaks issues, I wasn't expecting such a large bill for just two rotors and pads. Almost $500 justv or rear ones! But if you are stuck on a weekend, you gotta do what you gotta do. I won't recommend if you do not have an emergency.shop around as anybody should, especially for car maintenance. So much variation in cost but still from #270 to $300 for one axle.

Courteous, professional service. On a recent trip moving equipment from Grand Rapids to Mississippi had an issue with a low tire. Stopped by this Monro Center at 8am to see if they would put some air in the tire for me. As it was 10 degrees outside, I expected the employee to direct me to the local gas station to pay the $1.50 to put air in the tire. He said no problem opened the overhead door and grabbed an air hose to take care of the problem. It's good to see there are businesses who still provide customer service.
