I bought my car in 2002 and have had it serviced many times at Hillmuth Automotive. After my latest visit in May 2022 to fix the air-conditioning, the car is still running perfectly. I have met people who have been skeptical and dismissive when told the cost of car maintenance, and I suppose they imagine that the repairmen are just trying to drum up business.
Over the years I have come to trust the people at Hillmuth in Clarksville, because I doubt I could have kept my car going as long as I have without their help. As the daughter of an auto mechanic (now deceased), I appreciate their hard work.

Had to have an MSI done for a vehicle we purchased out of state. I called and they said they could complete it that day. Dropped the car off, and it was done in a short few hours. I would highly recommend this location for any service. Mike was extremely friendly and helpful. This is my new place for all of my vehicles. Wish I could give them 10 stars!

Been looking for a good local mechanic since I moved here. HillmuthAutoCare provided great service. Very helpful and easy to make an appointment. They walked me through what they found so I could decide what service I needed to have done immediately and what could wait. I'll be a returning customer. Services: Wiper blade installation, Oil change, Tires

I've taken my vehicle to Hillmuth on several occasions and they've always taken great care of my vehicle. The shop tends to be a bit pricey, but I worked for over 40 years and I never worked for free; you get what you pay for in just about everything in life. I signed up for the 250,000 mile service plan. I would highly recommend Mike (Clarksville) as your service advisor; he'll take good care of you! Thank you Mike (and the crew in the service bays)!

Have encountered unethical behavior from this shop twice. First, was told we needed to replace the transmission fluid in a 2015 Corolla.those transmissions are sealed and don't allow or require fluid changes. Second, told my tires were down to steel belts.also not true. It's clear that these guys will say whatever is necessary to get the upsell. Two strikes and they're out.
Not going back. Response to Billy 2/2/22 Hi Billy, Apologies for not responding more quickly. I understand that you're inclined to take the word of your employees and, on some level, I respect that. However, unless they can produce pictures showing that the tires were down to the steel belt, then I stand by my account. I actually DID check when I picked up the vehicle.
I saw the tires myself. Did you? As to the transmission fluid change on the Corolla, I would be happy to show you the owners manual that describes that transmission as being sealed. In fact, there's not even a dipstick to check the fluid. Your service advisor claimed he knew better than Toyota Motor Company.something I find hard to believe. Toyota doesn't recommend the fluid change, so why should Hillmuth? I'm happy to run this debate to ground. Let me know when you'd like to have a conversation. Michael Smith
